E-rickshaws in which he went don't usually go that far due to it being an electronic powered vehicle and they take multiple of passengers at the same time which she said in the start that she will only be taking him alone else they have to wait for other people going to same direction.
But still the price was kind of high. he should've taken the rickshaws which would be better.

If you wish to go to the India Gate The nearest metro station would be The CENTRAL SECRETARIAT. Where you actually got down was Chandni Chowk it has tourist places like Jama Masjid(mosque) and the Red Fort. From Central Secretariat you can take the violet Line metro get down at “Kalka Ji mandir” to go to the Lotus temple may around 400 metres.

That ticket was for India gate, you just have to change metro at the yellow line. One metro will not take you around the whole city. When you threw that ticket, I was like no man you didn't use it completely.🥲 Now you have to buy a new one.

In India, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Meghalaya, Ladakh, North Sikkim, East Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Aru Valley, Pahalgam, Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Parvati Valley, Spiti Valley, Tirthan Valley, Sangla Valley, Lahaul Valley, Valley of Flowers, Auli, Chopta, Hampi, Badami Caves, Key Monastery, Phugtal Monastery, Lakshadweep Islands, Auroville, Majuli Island, Kaziranga National Park, Khonoma, Dzukou Valley, and Jaisalmer are highly recommended. However, it's advisable to avoid Indian cities, especially Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Agra, and Chennai, as these places can be very hectic.

You should do a guide. I don't think I would enjoy the hectic cities. I am watching Gabriel Traveler in Jaisalmer after Ladakh and J&K and now enjoying the fort. I have also visited every Indian State, I think with Karl Rock.

Delhi Gate and India Gate are two different places. You mixed them up and got down at the wrong station.
Delhi Gate is the starting point of Shahjahanabad, or the so-called Old Delhi area, which was the capital city of the Mughal Empire. It is one of the several gates to enter the fortified Walled City of Shahjahanabad. It still stands there but is disconnected from the Wall after the latter was destroyed by the British East India Company armed forces during the First War of Indian Independence in 1857. A lot many other structures in Shahjahanabad (so-called Old Delhi) were also destroyed by the British at that time. However, the Delhi Gate is still there and you can see it. It is the southernmost gate of Shahjahanabad and is called so because this gate led towards the older imperial capital cities in Delhi that belonged to the empires preceding the Mughal Empire. So, because that gate pointed towards the older "Delhis", the gate was called Delhi Gate. Likewise, the gate that pointed towards Ajmer was called Ajmeri Gate, the gate which pointed towards Lahore was called Lahori Gate, the one pointing towards Kashmir was called Kashmiri Gate, and so on.
India Gate, on the other hand, lies in New Delhi which was the capital city of the British Empire. It was built by the British and still stands without any damage.
Delhi is a very ancient city and has a huge history. It has served as the centre of power of the Indian Subcontinent for more than a millennium and has had a decisive impact on the history and culture of most of the Indian Subcontinent. The most prominent lingua franca of the subcontinent, i.e., the Hindi-Urdu twin language was also born in Delhi during the medieval era. So, Delhi's history is huge and the spread of its heritage is also massive. Its history is also very fascinating. So, if you are a history lover, Delhi is the place you'd want to be in and explore it for days!

I love going to Delhi. So many things to see there. Just walking down the street seems like an adventure. It is best to avoid Delhi during the winter months due to the pollution. The rest of the year is fine.

I imagine Google Maps or something can be used no? The subway system looks really nice, wish it wouldn't take us 15 years to construct one here in Toronto, at least where good by North American standards. The security was a little weird though.
yep google maps are very useful as it tells u 95% accurately where to go .. security system is like a normal security in airport like passing through a metal detector and then putting ur luggage on x ray type of thing to check the luggage

Bro In the Delhi metro or other. there are a lot of "color lines" like blue, yellow, red, etc..... for different places. First, you have to confirm the particular place which the metro line goes after that there are sign boards or you ask any people "Hey man can you tell me about the blue line(for example) on which side or direction I have to go" and one more suggestion for you is just download Delhi metro map that's it.

Where metro train speed is 35-40 max.
You have to just reach last station of red line in delhi metro that is new bus adda.
Then reach to sahibabad rrts railway station using auto rickshaw.
Then travel to duhai depot and come back with next train from there to sahibabad rrts railway.
Its very easy to reach there to experience india first namo train.
