You will definitely have to reject it and tune the carb.

Hey bro , awesome job on your pw , one question, what is the aluminium box on the intake for exactly? My friend and I actually race these bikes in the 4zinger version and we have done every mod you can imagine . Thanks for your time

Thank you. It’s for boysen Reeds It it’s a fully custom intake that was done by hand on a mill in 1990. This bike will hit a top speed of 62 MPH. It has the gearing from a honda scooter to hit those speeds.

Can you give any specific info on that carburetor? Tired of dealing with the El Cheapos. I keep getting lemons from the PW sites. Is it an actual Mikuni? What model? Thanks! Love seeing the kids blasting around the yard.

I would start with the clutch stiffen the springs in it to raise the engagement. And do a carb mod.

When you say carb mod you mean re-jetting or getting an whole different size carb? Also what springs do you recommend I know a few companies offer those stiffer springs

Find a big bore kit for a yt60 and slap it on then you’ll get anywhere from 70-90cc

Just dont blow out the jets with your mouth, gas is not good to get on the lips, and your breath is 60 procent water så your adding water so it can cause a problem use an air compressor
