Would great to see kata performed from behind/reverse angle and slower both on performance and breakdown. Unfortunately where I live there is no Ryueiryu dojo. Great content.
We have been trying to work on our camera angles and slow-mo features. But we do plan on trying to put out more videos with more detailed content if that is what everyone would like to see!
@@eastlakedojo152 that would be great. The kata are excellent but to understand the breadth of the movements, multiple angles and slo-no would be excellent. Love watching videos of Sakamoto Sensei. Especially Anan.
Thank you this helped I’m learning thsi kata in brown 2 this is my second kata after matsukaze and when I search this kata it either is laggy or they don’t explain
Hi sensei. Me and my students are participating for a world tournament in Okinawa and this kata is in the list. However I cannot find this version of the kata being performed in tournaments on UA-cam. So can we perform this version of the kata for the tournament?
I will appreciate a lot if you teach all Ryuei ryu kata on this channel . This may sound not polite , what is the difference between your version and Sakumoto Tsuguo 's version?
I wouldn't say that there is a difference or varying versions, as we are under Sakumoto Sensei. The difference might be that when he teaches seminars he teaches them with the idea of Tournaments in mind.
This is true, which is why for us we start with kihon katas prior to introducing the first Ryuei Ryu kata to our students. At about 7th kyu they start with Niseshi.
Very detail explanation. Love it !uchy. I am a slow learner. This video help me alot. Thanks for taking the Time to make this available.👏✌💛
More kata videos from Ryuei Ryu please 😊🤩💪🏻

Very good video, thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
I see aspects of Arakaki Niseshi, Kenwa Mabuni, and hints of Shigeru Nakamura's version. I like seeing other inturpertaions of kata.

I remember that kata!
Similar to Shotokan's Nijushiho, which also means 24 steps....
excelente explicación
Thank you!
Welcome!
this kata has been passed down to Shotokan from Master Arakaki through Soke Mabuni and became Nijushiho nowadays

I'm not sure what tournament you are participating at, but this is a Ryuei Ryu kata, which is an Okinawan style.

is it Niseishi ?
We spell it the original way of Niseshi
For a first kata it is fairly complicated compared to Shotokan or Shorin Ryu :D

@@eastlakedojo152 Thank you for your response! It is very interesting to hear! :)
Certainly different from SKIF NiJuShiHo but has a few similarities to KenKoJuku NiJuShi.
