you have any wisdom to share about this situation? One my "friends", really just someone who's part of a large friend group I'm in, has been "jokingly being annoyed at me" every so often. I'll say some joke and she'll make a face like "really?" but with a sort of smile. It's like she's pretending she's annoyed by it, but she's not actively trying to hide being amused by the joke. It's hard to explain, but it's interesting to me because no one else reacts that way to me, except another friend, where it's just a running joke that he hates being around me due to those jokes.
@@vibaj16 I would say I’m wise in recognizing emotions. If they act differently, either they think of you as a close friend, or a crush. Do they attempt to get close to you specifically?
@@metarunner514 Not that I've noticed, which is one reason why I'm not sure what to think. It's just that I have this gut instinct that something is slightly off with the way she interacts with me, that I don't really see with anyone else.
Or don't turn one into the other... You may lose both...

I'm having this with my friend. We've been non-stop in touch every single day since Jan 1st! We met because we were both on healing journeys after leaving abusive relationships. As time has gone on, we barely talk about past relationships. We spend a lot of time together. She touches me slightly when we're alone together. Or holds my arm when we are walking somewhere busy. It's not all the time, but when she does it, I melt. Strangers always think we're a couple. Even when we're with other people. When they assume that, she tells me how much she likes that they think that. I do know she likes it because she's being seen as herself, a lesbian. But I know if someone thought my bestfriend and I were together, both of us would start yelling "ewwwee!!" LOL. I've met her family, her friends, her dad. My friends refer to her as my girlfriend. Her friends get very inquisitive when she says she's going to be alone with me. We've even slept in a bed together. But it kills me, I've cried because I feel love for her. I get excited to hear from her. I'd rather be with her than anyone else. I tried dating to get my mind off her but couldn't leave the date fast enough so I could respond to her texts. I'm afraid to tell her. I'm so scared.

Yeah it's gonna be hard to tell her. BUT what kind of bestfriend would she be if she didn't accept your feelings. She won't hate you for being honest with her maybe she's having similar feelings too.
If shes saying she likes it when people think you 2 are together i think its because she wants to be with you, you should tell her how you feel, if she says she Loves you back then youd both be very happy if she says she doesn't, at least your mind would be at ease knowing you 2 are still great friends, so go for it and make the move, I BELIEVE IN YOU 😁👍

I actually just gave my crush a mug I made in ceramics. It was the design she said was her favorite when I showed her the designs of mugs I made for that class. She said it was sweet of me. I tried telling her how I felt but I just couldn’t. She could tell I wanted to tell her something, but I just couldn’t do it. She’s gonna be really busy over the summer, and now that the semester is over I won’t see her till August.
I’ve never had any luck with this kind of stuff and I’ve probably just blew my chance with her.

In that Situation rn. I have a crush and we hang out very often, make music together and talk for hours and laugh and so on.. There's also touching going on.
I'm not quite sure if she likes me too because she's 10 years older than me and it's been like this for about a month now.
I got crush on someone I met in game before, an instant attraction you could say. I gotta be their friend and get to know them better is my internal screaming to me. Four years ago met her, after 2yr I confessed I had feelings for her 😂. She didn't refuse or accept them, but acknowledge I had feelings. Not until later told me she like me too, but because of our distance (I'm on the other side of the globe basically) she couldn't/wouldn't want a relationship. Which is understandable, taken into consideration of her reasoning and my own. I accept that, I wouldn't want that either, if I can't see myself book a flight ticket in the foreseeable years and met her in person, then I wouldn't want her to wait for me. Financial is a struggle when you're from third world country and the currency different is big. I just let her know that my feelings for her evolved into unconditional love, I wish for her happiness and well being.
BUT THERES A CATCH-
"Sure, but just letting you know visiting you and everyone else on the other side is on my bucketlist. Sooo, me giving you hugs and whoopin your ass for no reason is still valid"
Told her that and now I'm currently in the state of my life where I'm going to follow my dream.
I kind of have this. This is new to me after being in a toxic relationship with my "friends". I moved to a new school afterwards and i was so nervous. I almost forgot how to communicate with people and i started overthinking everything i do afraid people wouldnt want to talk to me or think im annoying. I would cry everytime i got home wishing i could disappear. But one day i walked into my new classroom and there were so many people and they seemed like they were 2 grades above me so i got more nervous. The teacher stopped the class and was yelling at me for interrupting although she wanted me in this class. Everyone was watching me and i was about to leave until someone in the class spoke up and vouched for me telling the teacher that was rude of her and that there are available seats for me to be in. The teacher kept not disagreeing and then that person ignored and guided me to a seat in the class and even offered me their own seat. I truly was greatful but i couldnt do anything but nod my head and sit in the seat they gave me. I wanted to thank them but i wasnt able to. Instead i found myself looking forward to the class everyday waiting for them to show up and just watch them. It was the nicest thing anyone outside my family has done for me and i just kept quiet. Months later i relaized i might like them. Ive met some more friends now, better firends. And im able to feel comfortable in my new school. I think that nice gesture gave me courage that most people at the school would be friendly too and they were. Its been months and im scared to approach them. Especially since all ive been doing was stare and never saying anything. I probably seem weird-

Tbh I kinda have similar situation but she is like with the same guy that she was before, also that guy is prob with thousands of girls at this point, i guess cz it makes her happy and help her deal with her life, I am sure she might have depression same as me and that kinda changed her and stop trying to interact with loser like me that 99% of the time avoids her and who doesn't have motivation for anything

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been working so hard to get over my crush, it’s been 4 months and I still think of hugging him when I feel down. Moving on is SO hard, like when I’m around him I can totally be myself and then when we’re apart I’m just always looking forward to seeing him again. I’m pretty sure he’s already moved on but I haven’t. I wish I could move on. I don’t hate being in love or having a crush on him, but we’re too far apart to ever be together which sucks so bad! I’m gonna try my absolute hardest and continue to try to move on, for both me and him. Mainly for me because I would be miserable, I wish he lived near me.
trust me we dont move on fast, at all. depends on the person really. Got into an argument with the person i fell for and we didnt talk for ~5 months.
granted she and i both arent very social and dont talk in person *much* but it was fun when we did. Mostly talk over a social media but definitely much more distant than we were.
A few of the adults in the program we were a part of (highschool, aka where i am rn) thought we were together so that was really awkward having to explain that i was, in fact, Not with the person that i want to be with and that it LOOKED like we were. So here i am now trying to get closer again.
Sometimes i find her annoying as hell but i love her so pfft. have to have hate and love for it to be healthy i suppose. just work around the issues.

@@scopedin2990 thanks and no worries, I actually don’t know how long it takes for men to move on. Google said it takes them 1 month to move on while it takes 4 months for a girl to move on. I know some men take longer than that. Honestly, me and my crush also aren’t very social around strangers either, we mainly play with each other online and he developed a crush on me first and then months later I develop a crush on him. Unfortunately he’s flights away from me so I can’t be with him, which sucks because he’s a really nice guy. We still hang out a lot but we’re just friends.

@@scopedin2990 yeah, when I confessed he said he was flattered and said the only thing that was keeping him from being with me was the distance between us. He said he wouldn’t be able to handle being apart. Obviously I understood because I would feel the same way, plus I hear long distance relationships are brutal. Talking through a computer and FaceTiming isn’t nearly the same as being with the person. I respected that and he said that he enjoys my company and wanted to stay friends and if the situation gets better we can try it and if it doesn’t work out he would love to stay as friends. I’m not gonna limit my options to only him though, plus I don’t wanna hang on to a guy I can’t have. Obviously my mind is still hoping that we could try a relationship someday but also I don’t wanna get my hopes up. I wanna explore my options and meet more people instead of clinging and hanging onto a guy that I could possibly be with but the chances are low; and yeah I have 2 females, one of them is my profile picture.

It SUPER sucks that he would be with you if it werent for the distance, but i guess the only thing to do really is to move on at that point, which would be even more difficult in this case specifically. I have a question.. There‘s this guy in my high school, which I don’t really know anything about, except which class he is in and a few small (very green flag-y) behaviours I noticed, which literally made my heart melt. He‘s good looking, kind and seems to have a same type of humour as me and I can’t help but feel attracted to him.
However like I said, I don’t know him at all and I only see him on the hallways in school, which makes me believe that my attraction for him is just my imagination and not actually real. Is this actually a thing someone can experience? Like, subconsciously faking feelings? Even on a physical level, because when I see him or get somewhat close to him, my hands start to shake and I get super nervous.
I was wondering, due to my lack of understanding and expressing my own feelings, wether this is a real crush or if it’s all in my head. Mind you, I literally don’t really know anything about love and each time I’ve asked someone out, I got ghosted. So I’m super insecure and don’t know wether I should ask him out or not, since it always seems to go wrong anyway..
For now, I’m going to bathe my feelings out and try to listen to my body, but I still want to know, if what I’m feeling are actually my true feelings.
I hope, someone can help me with that and this dilemma will also be included in my next therapy session 🥲

Theres this girl that sits next to me on a cram school, one day she asked if i could pass the class contents she misses, asked if i had her number and passed it to me. Despite being her second year there, she doesnt talk with too much people. Recently we started chatting and she really seems insterested on the topics we talk about. She seems serious when not socially engaged but overexpressive when we start talking. She told me some confidential things about her, but also i seem to always be the only one starting to socialize, despite being too shy. exactly what's happening with a girl in my class we've only talked a few times to count on my fingers but unfortunately she and i only share our chemistry lecture together and even then she mostly sots with her friend as i do with min.
