Can we get a commander size grip?
Wonder if they’ll be able to offer finish options that aren’t cerakote in the future. DLC, Nitriding, hard chrome etc.
I think in Classic Firearms’ interview with the SA owner he basically said DLC isn’t ever going to be a thing because they have to send it out to be done and that would exponentially increase wait times :/
@@DH-cq9kg makes sense, frankly I’d rather have them send me a gun I. The white then so I can then immediately send it to Vulcan to get finished.

@@spacecaesar7619 They may accommodate that. If they'll cerakote in whatever wacky color combo you want (that may look ugly) I don't see why they wouldn't send it out bare, especially when it saves them a bunch of time

I’m waiting for the P320 mag version. Not a fan of the Glock mags
I just purchased a 1911 Platypus Commander with round trigger guard and rails. I also have the honor of being left handed requiring a level 2 type holster. What would you suggest as I am having trouble finding something to fit me needs.
Safariland, should fit a Springfield TRP operator holster
They should make runs of guns, that you can just order for a little cheaper price.
They have factory option guns, and they're also constantly building guns for customers. I know what you're talking about, but when you offer this type of customizability, just having a stock isn't going to happen for a very long time. We're probably talking several years.

I have watched like 7 videos because I want to see when the new grip and bull barrel will be available on the website. And yet none of them have mentioned it .

Have u held the .45? Is it thicker in diameter than the 9mm grip?
If a 45 caliber Glock magazine has the same dimensions of a 9 mm Glock magazine I do not expect the grip handle size to change. Only difference would be capacity
@@thereforeiam8700It doesn't. This is going to feel like a 2011 sized grip because .45 ACP is wider and longer than 9mm. It'll still probably be smaller than a Glock 21.

@@danielhenderson8316 you're confused. this firearm uses standard double stack Glock mags. it already has a "2011" width grip. @paulh6101 asked if it would be thicker, I don't believe it will because all standard Glock mags are the same width regardless of caliber. go to Glocks website and look at the dimensions of a 17 (9mm) and a 21 (.45 acp). the grip width's are the same.
Well I rented a platypus last wkend. Was the 4.25". It may be me but I rented a staccato P as well and feel like the platypus is more accurate. And more enjoyable to shoot. It's a tack driver. Only thing was the grip texture was too slick for me. Apparently they have a fix now. Was a fun experience. Hopefully the new grip texture and bull barrel don't bring the price to 2k.

Go to Oracle Arms 2311 for that. The Platypus uses Glock magazines and that’s probably not changing any time soon.

Platypus whole schtick is Glock mags and customizability so no sorry...The 2311 however will, but I wouldn't buy one just yet, they have some problems to get ironed out. 2311 is pretty much still in open beta.

Why would you want a 1911 that can only use GLOCK magazines? Why would you have GLOCK mags near your 1911 guns or this gun??? AIf you're into 1911's then ovciously you have tons of 1911 magazines....If you like shoting 191's then why not stic with 1911 magazines??? :) Can this gun use BOTH 1911 and GLOCK magz??? And if it can (I doubt) why would you happen to have GLOCK mags near by???
Their hook is it's customizabiltiy. For that gun nerd who likes to Gucci all his guns to look "tacti-cool" at the range...heh...
