$979 for double stack 2011!?!
Thx
You also have the Girsan 2311 Witness which also a double stack 1911 for under $1k.
@@DazdnCofuzd and three Tisas double stack 1911s for under 1000 (two of them have 799 MSRP). And there's a competition double stack 1911 for 1099 (MAC DS) too.
I don’t think they can “disrupt the industry’ until they’ve made the sales to reflect that. It’s easy to promise, it’s slightly more challenging to deliver. But I love the spirit of competition!
Now make a double stack .45 ACP with 14 round mecgar mags and you'll take that cake completely, since nobody else has the balls to make a true 2011
There is one pistol that fits that criteria.
The Rock Island TAC Ultra FS HC 45ACP w/ 14 round _standard_ capacity. It is a bit of a unicorn but they do exist.
Stay classy my friend.
@@BertShackleford that's not 2011-patterned. Not quite the same thing.
A gen5 glock clone?
I thought the patent had only expired on the Gen3?
2:37 Falcon 9x is what I was talking about.
Because I'm sure some dbag is gonna say "the video was about a 2011"
Meanwhile Cabot just released their $6,000 2011😂😂😂
They're meant more to be a status peice tho. Just like rolex, a timex will actually keep better time, but the rolex comes with a status that cannot be had by the timex.
This is how business should operate.. fair to all parties...LFA makes what they need to stay in business, and the customer gets feature packed quality at a price that won't put them in the red, either. Everyone is happy..
Between LFA and the Platypus Staccato isn't the entry level 2011 anymore. Especially since their prices seem to be going up and not down.
Screw stattaco all they did was make money off people and goverment contracts who thought they needed a 3k+ plus pistol and then thought it was better than a 600$ while never catering to the working man.
I'd be curious to see a competent 1911-smith (meaning, someone way better educated than me!) take a look at the fitting (extractor, barrel, slide stop, etc) in their can't-call-it-2011-for-trademark-reasons.
That whole part about make what they need to make and be fair to the customer. Love it
You mean the jam o magic. The gun jams like crazy. It will not shot hollow points. The disconnector sticks. The safety digs into your hands. And the 3D printed grip feels very cheap. The trigger has too much take up and lastly the grip safety doesn’t work correctly. The gun is junk. I am trying to be kind so I will say no more. Small piece of advise stop listening to your engineers and start listening to you customers.
My daughter’s first rifle was a Live Free Armory. Excellent AR-15 it was 8 years ago, the only issue is that it was greased and froze quick in the sub-zero temps. Easy fix.
Some pretty attractive prices there!
The price is more like it , now if the quality and accuracy are there it’s winner.
I have a complete slide made by LFA. Their Glock barrels are nice. Nice aesthetics, flush and crowned barrels (one of the few who do that for Glock barrels). The slide is good but nothing special but still have nice features. Everything functions well and haven't had any issues after a couple of thousand rounds. As someone who tries a lot of Glock parts. Their Glock parts are really nice for the price. I would imagine their DS 1911 are probably mim part and non hand fitted but still... sub $1,000 is kinda crazy.
❤❤ that’s bananas 900 bucks for a 2011 that is clearly worth more boy. That’s a shock to the system.
Still waiting for more lowers for the AMP...
Soon the whole world will be silky smooth
Do it in 10mm
Costs
I am in for a LFA 2011.
Doing a holosun footprint on the 2011 seems silly when the Glock has an rmr footprint.
Because it's not a Glock and isn't competing with Glock. Holosun is more prominent with 2011s.
Ive built an 308 AR with LFA matching upper/lower and have no complaints.
If they had a subcompact version (3.25" barrel) I'd be super interested. Will definitely be watching these guys.
what is that anemic ass barrel length 😭
@@DTreatz stand in front of one if you think it's anemic.
BUL Armory SAS II 3.25" Ultralight.
Stay classy my friend.
I didn't even know who LFA was until now and shit I'm gonna have to check them out. Been wanting to try a 2011 for a long time but I can't justify paying over 2k for most rifles let alone a pistol.
There were several under 2k before LFA came along. Bul Armory makes most of theirs under 2K. There's also Springfield Armory's Prodigy. They are better quality than the new sub-1000 2011s. The SAS II is worth every penny.
thanks making 2011 affortable
Seeing bravo company sponser you guys, but I'm here waiting for some 14.5 uppers to come back in stock :(
Fuckin sign me up! I have their glock slides and I love them.
It cant cycle hollow points tho
Oh
Why not?
Proof of that statement?
According to who?
@@brandiwynter i think topshotdustins channel shows this.
How many mags come with it? How much are mags?
*Ships with 1 magazine
Mags are 55 bucks
That part leans more toward the platypus lol already having mags and them being way cheaper is a nice feature but dang the lfa Apollo looks better
Wait a sec
Doesnt an overpriced brand own the name for "2011"?
Whats mags does it take. It its a $70 staccato mags that sucks
The prodigy mags will probably work since the stattaco mags work with the prodigy
Tisas has double stack mags for fitty
@@chrisferguson1911 gonna be hard to compete with the platypus that takes glock mags for $20. Still looks good though
I need more ammo not guns!!
Niceeee
RMSC cut is big dumb dumb.
Bruh rmsc is the micro compact standard. What else would it be? Rmrcc? lol
Without changing the top of the slide, you will never mount an RMR on a 1911 style slide without plates. RMSc makes the most sense to get a direct mount.
@danielhenderson8316 and yet tisas has done just that so you can mount an rmr on a double stack 1911 😂😂😂 come on man!
@@driftitlikeyouownit So that's why all the double stack 1911s on Tisas's USA site says and I quote, "Direct Mount for Holosun 507k & RMSc Footprint Optics"
Try again trash.
@@civicsr2cool a trijicon rmr plate exists for 1911/2011s
