Omg! I have the same setup (as far as a big ass TV and desk) but with an executive office type desk and a 55" that I watch your guys' videos on! It's a near-sighted multi-tasker's dream. I started nursing school last January and wanted to truly invest in my study space. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to get a TV and a computer monitor until I realized it was 2020 and I could hook up my desktop to my TV. Adding a wireless keyboard and mouse was a game changer as well. Next to my desk, I have a 60x40 dry erase board on the wall for when I wanna write stuff or practice recall standing up and a 36x24 dry erase board that fits on my desk that I write on while taking notes from lecture video transcripts before transferring them to a word document and making flashcards out of them. It takes some extra time, but I found that writing my notes out first really aids my retention and for some reason I enjoy writing on a dry erase board opposed to a piece of paper or tablet. I tried using Remnote earlier in the semester but the learning curve was kind of big for me, so I'm waiting until after this semester is over to watch all the tutorials for it in hopes of saving time while making flashcards. Also, I get what you mean about the neck strain; I can't imagine using a 65"!! Sometimes I think this is just childhood me rebelling against all the times my dad said I was too close to the TV 😅 anyway, I love your guys' videos!! I'm in VA Beach if you guys ever visit and want recommendations for food spots and things to do 👍🏼

FOOD:
Sit down Chinese- Jade Villa (the Dimsum carts start rolling every Sunday at 12), Judy's Szechaun Cuisine, or Noodle Man VB or Chesapeake for a more casual atmosphere
Ramen- Alkaline (Norfolk) or Kappo Nara Ramen (Norfolk and VB)
Korean Double Fried Chicken- Chic n Fish in Newport News, Bonchon Norfolk, Lendy's off of General Booth Blvd in VB for American wings
Malaysian food/Curry- Penang Town Malaysian Cuisine (get the roti and thank me later😉)
Colombian/Bomb ass beef empanadas- Bilu's Colombian Bakery/Restaurant or El Paisa, both are off of Newtown Road in VB. Bilu's also makes a BOMB tres leches cake.
Tacos- Jessy's Taqueria in Norfolk or VB if you're near the oceanfront or Nico's Taco's off of Holland Rd in VB for more mom and pop style food.
KBBQ - Tasty Korean Bbq for beef bulgogi with rice and a bomb ass Thai tea milkshake. It's family owned! Hot Pot 757 in VB for a sit down KBBQ and hot pot experience. Really good for groups or just people who are realllly hungry lol
Dave's BBQ in VB for traditional bbq
Pizza - Jet's Pizza off of Princess Anne rd, Del Vecchio's near ODU makes a bomb Buffalo chicken ranch stuffed pizza, Reginella's off of VB BLVD, Pungo Pizza & Ice Cream is wayyyy out there almost near North Carolina but they make really good garlic knots!
Random/other worthy mentionables - Grilled Cheese Bistro and Jack Browns both in Norfolk
Filipino food- Felynn's makes the best lechon, pork bbq, and sisig in the area in my opinion, visit Glory's Bakery off of Centerville Road for what I think is a Hampton Roads Filipino culture staple, "Pepperoni Bread" - the VA Pilot recently published a news article on them.
As far as things to do, I think everyone should visit the VB oceanfront - the boardwalk lights look really pretty at night and you could get a Kohr Brothers ice cream cone and just enjoy it at the beach. I'd definitely recommend Pelon's fish tacos - they have a location on 37th and Pacific Ave close to the beach. Lolly's ice cream is really popular as well; they have a location by the oceanfront and one closer to town center. However if you want to avoid other tourists and want a more chill beach day, visit Sandbridge Beach in VB. It's farther but more secluded. Alternatively, you could make a day out of going to Pungo Pizza and visiting Munden Point Park in Pungo VB - it's next to a river and the sun sets there, they have bball and volleyball courts/rentals, kayak rentals, etc. In the summer time, I love going crabbing at the beach off of Shore Drive. First Landing State Park is good if you like nature walks. There's a Waterpark called Ocean Breeze with a gigantic King Kong-sized gorilla statue in front of it that my dad likes to bring his friends from out of town to to take pictures in front of 😂 then there's the VA Aquarium!

careful with using big tvs as monitor, they may have screen-burn-in when very static imagery like from desktop environments is displayed on them nonstop. You‘ll probably need to run a screen-saver like in the old times

I have a similar setups use a 43 inch Vizio TV as my monitor and have a second 42 inch Element TV as a actual tv.
Still not sure if joke or not.

lol, if Hyperextending your neck upwards by only 20 degrees or so is "hyperextending it" you need to stretch my man! I actually have a 65" G2 as my monitor (wall mount "G2) but my desk is 4ft wide, plus the extra foot of sitting at youmy desk actually makes it pretty much perfect!
