I just bought the TD-1DMK and they told me it`s healthier for the Mesh to play with wodden Sticks.....I´m confused! BTW: I can advance it all the time with other Roland Parts, right?! BC the standard Rubber Basedrum Pad is still to loud for my neighbours and think about to buy the Mesh Version.......I recon then it`s really silent?
Hey, I honestly don't know if its better or not to play with wooden ones. But it works for me! I don't see any damage from what I use. As far as mesh vs plastic im sure there definitely is a reduction in noise. However, I still hear noise and its not that low st all. Pretty loud still, but heck of a lot better than the rubber or plastic whatever it is
