You actually are riding between the ocean and the sound. I live on the INNER BANKS and commercial fished on the Pamlico Sound with my late husband. We are a unique area and COMMUNITY. The Pamlico Sound is a powerful force to live with. We face hurricanes and still stay here. I always feel a little regret for those raving about their outer banks vacation because they missed the treasure across the Sound. Crossing the mighty Pamlico Sound is an experience all it's own! Glad you got close and shared the gift of the land and the locals. 💚
Thank you for taking the time to walk all the way up to the Wright brothers monument.😘 I would love to ride through the outer banks islands. The scenery is very beautiful. It would be nice to have more time to explore the outer banks. As always, thanks for posting your video. 🙏🏻👏👏👏👏✌️
Ahhhh, your appreciation of my hard walk to the monument is very nice to hear. 😂
I can highly recommend the outer banks as a travel destination if you are ever close - to me it was really worth the detour.
Been going to the Outer Banks for 20 years. Personally I never get sick of lighthouses, and I see them every year!
Stunning, as usual. Which is extraordinary because, how do you continue to produce such amazing content, consistently, every post? I can't imagine, but G2G does so every time. Thanks for another grand tour! Cheers.
Awww thank you so much for these nice words! They mean a lot to me! 🥹
The drone footage is excellent and another outstanding video .Thank you so much for taking us to such beautiful places !
I have been going to the Outer Banks every year for about 15 years now. I stay in a house in Buxton, which is the little village that claims Hatteras Lighthouse as it's own. I've tried to explain to folks why I go every year to the same exact place. In the future, instead of trying in vain to explain it myself, I'm going to start showing your wonderful guide to them. Thank you very much for sharing this with us. 🙂
You are THE BEST tour guide! I didn't know Kitty Hawk was right on the ocean. Thank you for the ride!
Thank you for watching and the lovely words. Doing the best to show you guys the awesome places I visited!
I speak from experience Lea, the Outer Banks, aka OBX, kept my wife and I coming back virtually every year since the 1980's. Now, health keeps us from going again. But, thanks for your wonderful video of reminders of why OBX and Ocracoke became such a special place for us. Thank you for choosing to go that way. By the way we never waited that long for a ferry to Hatteras Island. 👍👍👍
See, you are exactly the people I talked about in the video - that once you visit you want to return every year! I can really understand because it’s lovely. I am sorry to hear that at the moment you can’t travel there, but am very happy that I could at least take you on this virtual trip!
Rest assured Lea, your European and Oman rides are stunning as well. Be safe, God Bless.
Thank you for the great video and adventure! Well done!!
I love your video thank you so much for making it you have a safe journey!
Thank you for a awesome video love the Outer Banks
Thanks for sharing another beautiful journey, Leah.
Excellent!! Your commentary, the videos, and the drone footages are so wonderful that it feels like we are right there with you. Amazing work and thank you!!
Excellent views and the road trip is also very scenic. Many thanks for this, stay safe and looking forward to any new footage. 👍
Amazing, well done Leah! 👍👍
Another great video - vielen Dank!

Big Thanks for show us Wright Brothers National Memorial.....This is awesome vlog.....I cannot skip or stop....Thank you again
So many wonderful things to see in our beautiful OBX. So glad you enjoyed you trip. You must visit again.
OMG! would love to travel that route I love the ocean and quiet roads like that and love the mom and pop motels like you stayed in . thank you LEA 🥰.
Wow big thanks for sharing that place🤓👍🏻another great vid 😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦🥂
wie immer ein Fest mit zu fahren. Danke
WOW… WOW just absolutely stunning, thanks for all the info and advise, we will be following in your tracks from north to south as I mentioned before… you have given us a really good insight as to the best places to stay and ideas for an easy ferry crossing , the scenery is awesome!! .. Thank You 💕💕👍🏻
To be honest I think as well that the ferry usually isn’t that busy if you don’t travel over the big holiday times in the USA (which I was still kind of in on this trip). Other people here already commented that they have not waited that long. So I think I was just unlucky with the big trucks pulling up in front of me all the time. 😅
I am sure you will love this trip if you do the outer banks too, I really think it’s a special place (and a good place to do a rest day!!!)
Thank You I'm glad I found your channel. Love your accent
The skies!!
Great video thank you very well done. Thanks again cheers to ya.
Thanks for joining the ride!
Fabulous! I can’t wait for the next one. Blue Ridge Parkway.

Totally agree about sunrises on the motorcycle. My favorite. Thank you for these wonderful videos!
Fun video, we have been going to OBX for years. There is so much to do or do nothing at all. Glad you enjoyed it.
That was an absolutely wonderful, watching this splendid trip of your (OUTER BANKS). as usual, beautiful cinematography, really amazing scenes, good luck Lea 😍
Thank you so much!!!
Beautiful scenery. Leah thanks to your video I feel motivated to go visit the outer banks, thanks for showing us the beauty of America 😊
you definitely should - outer banks are one of the places from this east coast trip that I as well would really like to Return to and spend more time at - which is always a good sign because I am usually most attracted by places I have not been to yet.
Thank you for taking me along your ride, it was so awesome.❤
Excellent as always, very beautiful places, thank you !
Thank you so much!
Excellent video Lea. I enjoyed it very much as it brings memory of our family trip camping close to the beach on the outer banks coming from Québec, Canada. Looking forward to your video next week!
I guess you had an awesome time there too! It’s really lovely!
You have some of the best motorcycle and traveling footage I have ever seen. Also, you go to places I have never heard of thank you very much for sharing your journeys.
That was so awesome 👌🏻...
Keep it up Lea 😁🥇🌟👍🏻
WOW...Thanks again for the wonderful video tour and information ..travel safe..what a mean ferry guy..NO 🙄🏍
Epic, stunning and awesome ❤
A nice reminder of my vintage biplane flight over Kittihawke some years ago!
Super drone footage, and always excellent choice of music ..
This trip has had fantastic scenery... thanks for sharing
Stay safe
Thank you so much - I loved the outer banks too, it’s indeed a lovely place.
Nice views and great nature. Thanks again for sharing 👍
And thank you like always for watching!
excellent video!
Another great video and ride thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!
Another nice video. We have been to part of the Outer Banks but need to explore more sometime. I enjoyed the Wright Brothers Memorial. Being a recreational pilot and aircraft owner you can understand. It is where it all started. Thanks
What an interesting beautiful place
It really is!
Really enjoyed this section because I wanted to do this very trip (North to South) and couldn't due to time constraints. I plan to do it next year after the MABDR. I did get to visit the Wright Brothers' site along with the life-size bronze sculpture of the flyer taking off. I took the time to clamber up and sit next to Orville and imagine how he must have felt during take-off. They never wore protective gear, imagine that! Also thanks for including the Ferry info, and recommending a nice place to overnight. 🙂
Awesome trip.👍
I loved this video. Near and dear to my heart. I went to college in Chapel Hill and have a home on 12 S in Avon. You rode right past my house. We forget sometimes that NC is so beautiful.
That's one part of the US that I've never visited, but after watching your video, it's on my bucket list. Thanks again for a great video.
Sam and Omies! It's been a long time since I've eaten there. I need to ride this route again soon. Great trip! Thanks!
Wunderschön. Danke wieder für das mitnehmen. Ich folge noch immer. 😉👍
Das freut mich sehr! Ich hoffe auch noch lange in der Zukunft!
Awesome ride. 😀😊😉
Thanks!
You earned the W right allright. Thanks for showing this wonderful area.
Thank you so much!
Excellent movie, I’ve just been there with my car and you have shown the best way to drive the Oouter Banks✌️
enjoyed this vid so much, also the music choice was amazing. All the best!!
Thank you so much!
Liebt dich!! Tolles Video !
WOW another lovely ride, and since I am a passenger on the side car i had to slam on the brakes on the second ferry waiting lane; Drones' content 👏👏and I share the feeling on a boat, big waves make me feed the fish. The peace sign just superb.👌
Seasickness is really no joke - I love boats and the ocean, but they always mean trouble for me 😂😂😂
You discover amazing scenery😊
Thank you so much!
Welcome to my home glad you enjoyed it! I am 2 miles north of Write Brothers monument. Ocracoke is one of my favorite places to wind down
Sorry *Wright bros. UA-cam lightning strikes lighthouse and I have a video of bodie Island getting struck. Happens about 40 seconds into video. My best friend got the shot with us in car waiting for storm to pass. Worth a look!
Namaskar Lea.🙏 I just found you last week! I wish you the best in your new adventure. I will catch up and hopefully you will be back soon! You are such a bright light. ❤
Nice video! If you had continued north you would have visited Duck and Corolla and seen many other attractions including the wild ponies and some incredible beach cottages...there is also another interesting lighthouse called the Currituck Lighthouse which you can climb and see a bird's eye view of the island including the ocean and sound. Thank you for sharing. Safe journey!
I've alwasy wanted one of those bikes to take my daughters exploring! Maybe one day soon I'll have me one.😊 Great video!
Wow! Thanks for the beautiful video... and the memories. We went to Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills from Dallas in the late 70's in my then newish Alpha Romeo convertible, which was also a good way to see the islands. There was hardly any development at all, very wild actually.
Being from North Texas, I didn't know much about sea foodl, but I ordered crabs at dinner in the little cafe. They turned out to be the same black crabs I'd been dodging on the beach all day! Don't think I are very much.. It was great, though, and we stayed 2 weeks rather than the planned 1.
Looking forward to next week... The Blue Ridge Parkway is a favorite drive of mine. Happy trails!
That’s exactly the charm of the outer banks - I really could have stayed so much longer there too, it was so peaceful and nice (but as well very booked at my time of traveling)
Another great episode, Lea. I love the coast, but looking forward to your mountain episode next. When you were getting off the highway at exit 273 you were near where I live.
Oh nice! That’s a lovely area. I am sure you will like next weeks episode then and might know all the places I go anwyways!
I live on the Outer Banks, thank you for visiting.
What an awesome video, despite the unhelpful ferryman. Stunning location 👌
I guess that can happen everywhere! I would wait even more hours to be able to travel the outerbanks thiugh, because I liked it so much!
yes we did outer banks May earlier this year.. We had one beautiful day of riding.. Then in came a nor'easter storm.
Been to the outer banks a few times, Love it out there.
Wow....I thought you looked familiar. I rode the Cedar Island ferry with you. I was the first vehicle in line at the Hatteras ferry. Yes, it was super frustrating getting on that ferry. Great video!
I actually just back from a trip from Ocracoke Monday.
Outer Banks is beautiful. I was out there for about 3 weeks exploring everything. I even got to get to portsmouth.
Glad You Enjoyed The Outer Banks, Besides The ferry , delay
Yes, that’s meanwhile as well forgotten and I only remember how lovely the whole outer banks trip was. 😍
Hermoso paseo, me gustó q mostraste el monumento a los hermanos aviadores
❤❤Good morning beautiful place thank you love you God bless you
Fresh hot coffee and the new Got2go video for breakfast - a perfect start to the day! Thank you, Lea!
Thank you for joining again! And having the video for breakfast fits very good as I was basically looking for breakfast the whole Video long 😂
1st time watching your videos. My wife and I ate dinner and watched this as we ate in our house in Nags Head. I was laughing pretty hard when I saw you taking the "back door" entrance to the Wright Bros. Monument.... very honest of you to drive over to the real entrance. Good luck on the rest of your journey!
You did good on the motel. Love parking in front on the level. Tie a string to your baby. So easy to unpack and pack out. Never loose the horizon. Good catch of the moon and sunrize. You did well seeing the Wright Bros. Monument. Can't believe you coming so close to home in the mountains.
Yes, motels definitly are my favorite! I am always a bit sad that there are basically no motels in Europe. Here you can be sure that you always have to carry your things at least up a few stairs 😂😂😂😂
A very nice video. I've been going to the outer banks the last 7 yrs love it there. Some day I'll take my HARLEY out there and ride the 200 mile island. I usually stay in nags head . I've stayed in kill devil. Corola . Avon I'm 65 so I'll probably get a trailer for the bike . I live in Ohio.
My first-time watching your channel. Excellent job showing the outer banks. I've subscribed and look forward to watching more episodes. Thanks for your time and energy Lea.
Awesome, welcome to the channel and welcome to the journey then! I hope you will like the future videos of the epic east coast ride and be a part of our great virtual Got2Go travel crew!
Go back to her Episode's in Africa and Europe.. there is so amazing episode to see....👌🏻🥇
@@abdulazizsaleh8650 I went back and started from the beginning. It's amazing seeing the landscape and people. I stayed up till 4AM watching 7 episodes. I'm hooked. Thanks for the heads-up.
@@justyouraveragejoe7359
Happy to know that you enjoyed it....
Greetings 🙏🏻 👍🏻🙂
The outer banks, paradise on earth
Thank you. 🏴☠️
Lea 👍 jewel video... with 2 Good mornings...2 fairies...and 2 lighthouses ... Personally i haven't intrusting to seen crowded cities which we watching every day in news channels 👍🙏😊
Tanks 👏
I love OBX!
Thank you for this. You have to hike to the top of Jockey Ridge to see the hang gliders and kites.
We just booked both of the places you suggested. I appreciate the info on the ferry too.
The sunset horse back ride at Cedar Island is a must do.
Hola Lea. Es exelente el video. Estados Umidos es muy hermoso. Abrazo Argentino.
Merci 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That was an awesome video! I hope you were able to get some good seafood. I can’t wait for the next video here in the mountains. Don’t let the lack of common sense on the coast reflect on the state of NC. It happens. We don’t have any ferries here. Any way, the Fall foliage here in Western NC has been nothing less than beautiful. I can’t remember a more brilliant color year. I have been riding very much and enjoying the show. I hope you are. I am sure you are. Best!
I as well think people in general on the outer banks were super friendly - only because I didn’t exactly understand the policy of the ferry guy about motorcycles didn’t reflect on all other people I met on the outer banks! So I am only thinking the best of NC people anyways!
I really enjoy your show. I used to do extensive bicycle touring but am too old to ontinue . My son and I are planning a car trip to the Outer Banks in early November. After watching your show, we decided to cancel the portion that involved riding ferries. Just too much possibly of delays . We will retrace our route and explore the coastal wetlands on the mainland. My son, who does drone photography, really likes your work. I take picture because I paint using oil and pastel.
Yes, not getting motion sickness is a major plus, nice ride
It’s is indeed 😂😂😂
Me and my dad visit the outer banks during the summer i’ve been doing that since I was little
It's good you're seeing this now, because just since '92 sea level has risen 10.1 centimeters (3.98 inches).
I see why you have the following you do, subscribed on this, the first of your videos I've watched.
