I just had to tell you that I had a break down last night. I cried and cried and cried because I made two stupid money decisions and it caused a domino effect. I was broken today and went to sit in a park alone and think. In my thoughts, I remembered the video you talked about making it big and losing it all because of you were being flashy and showing off and I thought, I've lost my meager savings I had toward my business. I didn't lose the business. Or millions. Pat lost way more and he survived. And learned. I got up and I promise on my life I am grateful to that video. We never think of the successful people as ever have failed or experienced success and lost it. I am nowhere where you were, I will be ok. My lesson will cost me money and a delay in my plans. But I learned it. Thank you Pat. 💗
I personally set a goal that, at the time, was super crazy big. Instead of changing to an 80% goal, like you mentioned.... I decided to split that larger goal into many smaller goals and chipped away at those. As it stands now, im on track to achieving my crazy big dream/goal. :) Key is good research and admiting when you dont know something. While being humble and courageous enough to admit that you dont know and ask someone who does.
I've been an investor/investment banker for almost 20 years. Even if you're successful, if you do enough deals, painful loss is inevitable. Big losses can even take over your life. I wish this issue was addressed more. It's a very real problem but most people only want to discuss their wins and bury their losses. Thanks for this video.
I a m dealing with a loss right now,and i feel exactly like Mario. As an African woman i invested $5000 in a business which is a good amount of money in my country and it crumbled.I haven't been sleeping for days trying to deal with the crisis and handle my losses.I know i will get over it but i want to do it fast.So thank you for this video
I just sat down and made notes from this video to present to a client who recently ended our contract. Great way to close the chapter and help with future improvements between I and my client. Thanks Pat!
After watching quite a few of the videos, even if the channel is closed, it would be nice to give a review and say what I like about what you guys have been doing: 1) For the first time in my life I trust the approach of "10 ways"/"10 things" about how to... So far, in my mind "10 ways to become a gazillionaire" meant BS. But this is so well structured and so well anchored in Pat's own experience that I'm watching every video at least twice. 2) Patriarch attitude. I have never seen a big guy with muscles to show so much care and so little arrogance in his speech. I feel like I'm learning from my dad! 3) Stressing important points. I absolutely love that you are repeating certain things. You have hundreds of videos and it's easy to get lost in so much information! 4) Personal approach. You know how tough times feel like, and you know that people that lose in business lose more than that: they lose their personal life, their home, their selves as human beings. And you always go over and over again through that human nature side that starts or stops everything else. 5) Friday evening movie shooting, Sunday Q&A... I mean really? How many are out there that dedicate their late night time and week end to make free sessions? 6) Open attitude. All the interviews are genuine gentlemen discussions. Even that one with Grant Cardone, I don't care he has a potty mouth, I love that he speaks things out loud, I love that interview because there's so much to learn from it! I'm gonna be selfish and hope that you guys will revive this channel in the future, but if not... I'm sure that 400k+ subscribers' lives are getting better because of your effort. Keep up what you're good at and thank you!
it's hard to find a mentor in India (at my age, especially in entrepreneurship, people around me think I'm just playing with my life by taking risks 😵😵).... unknowingly you've been my mentor for last couple of months and I believe it'll be same in the forever future !! thank you for that !! 😁😁 your content is valuable to me !!! and don't get disappointed about that 100k subs..... you've brought change in so many lives including mine !! ☺☺ I don't know why but i like that guy Mario... it was nice to see him in the video... 😁😁
I think the channel is finding out its identity and market differentiation in the videos it makes. Its a wonderful thing. As most talk about how to win, this is how to deal with a lass.
You can either choose to set big goals or small goals opt for big goals that you can reach if you try really hard, once you've set your goal attached to a number and given it a deadline the most important part is to develop a strategy, lay out what you're willing to give to attain the goal, tell the world you goals to be pressured to perform and execute on that. When you miss your mark be sure to focus on what you did right first then on the negatives so you'll be in the right state to deal with your shortcomings, rank yourself on how well you did on your execution lastly use your discoveries as a pivot point and go from there
I want to thank you for taking the time to put this stuff out there. It's nice to see someone as young as you (You're about my age, so I have to say that) giving back and mentoring others. I know these videos take a lot more time to put together than people think.
I like your comment. He puts in a lot to make these. I sure appreciate them and try to show that I do. I'm sure he likes seeing comments like these verses the ones that just want something. He's already giving us a lot by giving this valuable information for Free😊.

Pat, thank you very much in presenting this video. I'm a part-time teacher and I have some students who will be going to a higher learning institution. Needless to say, many of these students have vision of grandeur and they need to face reality. I used your video as an example, in which I was able to communicate how to set goals properly and how to monitor and adjust goals. Thank you for this great video.
Great video Patrick, I think that being able to turn a loss into an experience to learn is one of the most important keys to success, I'm telling you, by the time I am 30 I have to be a millionaire, I will be a millionaire, and when I am I'll make sure to let you know it was because of this channel in an great amount. Keep making videos! I admire you!
Hey Pat and team firstly I have to say in birmingham England I should be responsible for a small number of subs including myself. your work in the last 6 months alone has led me to quadruple my income and best of all have more time for my family however, this video to me personally was not your best reason why is because your channel is not one of the best for entrepreneurs. It is the top worldwide without a shadow of a doubt. for the first time I was disappointed because who cares about 100 thousand subs as a goal when you have helped triple the amount, call it spiritual subs that's a guarantee. you guys don't need the rep anyway. You guys did not loose you won you doubled your numbers in less than a quarter of the time and are more than officially on the map for what you do. I know we don't know each other but your work means a lot to me and my entire circle YOU GUYS DO NOT NEED To ADDRESS LOOSING PERSONALLY. how to really deal with a loss (dont) WIN BIGGER (paraphrased from you guys work)
Sir I would like to thank you. I've been watching your videos since I came accross it a couple of days ago. You speak truth and lay it out nicely. It's good to have people like you to spread the words about life and experience. All will go good and it will succeed further. Keep spreading the word and teaching. Good day Sir.
I think a big benefit you had for the debriefing was having a few people to talk it over with. You can get some of this information yourself, but you need outside perspectives to show you your blind spots.
The "good voice, bad voice" and "Life of an entrepreneur" videos were really good and not just for the quality, but how well the message was conveyed. I think if you committed to making one of those a month your subs would increase dramatically.
Hey Pat, Arsenal an English football team (soccer), went undefeated throughout the entire 04/05 EPL Season, something that has never been done previously or since. Nothing is impossible! Great video once again, thanks for the insight.
Pat u are already at more than 90k subs. 90% work done just 10% left which will be achieved within another month or so. Congratulations in advance brother !!
I realize that so many times I saw you asked viewers to subscribe, but I was already subscribed... so I just went on to something else. If you had also asked to share the video... (as you did in this video) but did it with as much enthusiasm as the subscribe pillow, that would have prompted me to share more- if just a few of the 80,000 subscribers were like me you may have made the goal. Why am I saying this? Not to say "you should have done this" but rather it makes me realize that there are little extra or additional things I can request when trying to make my goals- especially when my goals rely on others to make the action step (to place an order, to hire us, etc.). I often forget to ask my existing clients to help promote us to their other contacts.
Hey, Pat! Why don't you do a Video about How To Implement A Great Idea?! That's exactly what I and a Lot of Entrepreneurs are needing right now! Thanks for the attention! Hugs from Brazil!

You helped me be a full time entrepreneur from a part timer. This video is one of my best but I really feel the title should change. Let me tell you why. I have watched it over 10 times now and I got the perfect way to plan a strategy execute the same and finally better that. How about HOW TO PLAN A BUSINESS STRATEGY, EXECUTE AND GET THE MOST OUT OF IT FOR THE NEXT ONE??
I really liked this video. Could you do a sequel on the emotional hurdles that you need to overcome when losing, like beating yourself up, or being too emotionally attached to a goal, maybe one that is too high and you don't realize it?
Thank you for another amazing video I set goasl but never with deadlines or rating my experience. Most goals I do not reach. I know now I need that push to be consistent everybady with a deadline, and wether a goal is made or not I need to evaluate my experience to make better decisions for future goals.
You could send some of your team mates to interview young entrepreneurs who just started ( 1 - 2 yrs in business ) and are doing well . Such kind of episodes, would be interesting to watch noneless
I'm thinking that some of these responses could also be good to do when you hit your goal. 1) why did you hit the goal already? Was the goal too small? 2) Could you have hit it even faster with a different strategy?
Hi Pat, Firstly I want to say thanks for all the great content you put out. I constantly watch your videos and find them very inspiring. I am a young entrepreneur based in the UK that has been in the logistics/freight industry for the last 7 years running my own company and leading a team. I recommended your videos to all my friends who are also on the same path, your style and delivery is amazing. I would really like to see you hit the 1 million subscribers. Keep up the good work! P.s. I think putting "#1 resource for entrepreneurs" in the channel name would help people identify what you are about, and also I like the blackboard format, it's like online classes in entrepreneurship!
Hi Pat, this is Dimitri from the future telling you, you're about to hit 1 million subs don't worry about the 100,000 sub fail, you've got so much more coming your way
Patrick this video was rock solid. I have never seen a video as good this on the topic of what to do when you don't meet a goal. You continue to give me value for my time of study on being an entrepreneur. Thank you. Mario Carranza, Houston, TX.
Hey Pat , You have a great educational channel about entrepreneurship.Anybody who sees any of your content will subscribe right away because it's educational and you energize people watching your videos. You need to advertise your channel in UA-cam ad so that you let the people on UA-cam know that you exist. I think lot of your subscribers rarely share the videos because they want to be different from others keeping the channel their little secret including myself . Just Being truthful And by the way congrats getting into Harvard.
I would like to thank the Valuetainment team for the high quality content and focused vision. I think that stems from your military background. Could you guys PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON SOURCING THE RIGHT PEOPLE AS A STARTUP. As this is always a major challenge in getting the value out there. Thanks again.
It is frequently said that, "We learn more from our failures than from our success." Setting some goals at a 80% attainability makes sense, but it would also seem that setting easily attainable short-term goals would build momentum and faith (buy-in) in the process. -There is a book titled "Switch: How to change things when change is hard," that I think would be useful. Pat, I would like to know your thoughts on this book as sometimes a business or an individual requires major changes to keep up with market demands and bringing people with you can be the slowest part of the process, without destroying morale with hiring and firing. So, the question would be, "How do you keep morale and motivation in the green, and keep problems manageable, as you deal with major and necessary changes?" Like you said elsewhere, 'Those who can handle high pressure are highly successful.' Perhaps the answer is somewhere along the lines of "Keep It Simple Stupid," maybe not.
Hello Patrick And the valuetainment I am really thankful with you for your content, You are changing the world men and I wish You success in your proyects.. Greetings From Colombia. thank you so much
I would like to name a book called "The 4 disciplines of execution" Or known as the 4DX and achieving your Wildly Important Goals. Written by Chris McChesney, Sean Covey and Jim Huling on how to reach your goals but you come up a little short. Easy to read how to change your strategy.
Hello Patrick. If you've already discussed this please forgive me, but could you possibly do a segment focusing on your transition from the military into entrepreneurship?
Hi Pat, as of this moment you got 91,625 subs. You are close to 100,000. wohoo! Just dropping by to say that this video helped me a lot as I have encountered a loss. I never reached my target. I keep on replaying the video until it all sink in to me. By the way, can you make a video on "Criteria In Firing A Team Member/Employee/Worker" and explain how to fill-in the void for that team member, regarding choosing the best person to replace that person, in order not to damage the operations of the business. Thank you so much!
Fecking explosion at the end made me jump 😂 I was playing the vid through the sub woofer 😂 nice one 😂 I nearly had a heart attack 😂 thanks for value guys 🙏
have you thought about billboard advertising, bulk mailing and google ad words for just the valuetainment channel? I really feel the country needs to see your content. Also you should probably look into getting endorsements from bigger channels to drive traffic to your channel.
Pat i think having a goal and not earching it by deadline (but reaching it eventually) is much better than not having a goal at all... Im saying this as i see only 390 subs remain at this moment to reach 100 000. Good luck!
Pat can you make a video about "How to get a potential customers attention through phone?" i see that being a problem because a lot of people seem to just hang up the phone when they hear "Do you have a minute or two...". Since that is a part of promoting ones business i think that would be a great informational video to make.
Hi Pat,this is one of your excellent videos.Really Appreciative no doubt. It's amazing that i get inspired from you usually i am not that type of guy. It is just wow really
You may have already addressed how u became successful. But I would really like to know how you started initially and how long did it take to get where you are today?
I like this *Law of attraction* thing you've nicely explained here ☺️.. Recently read a book *Think and Grow rich*, and this video more or less summarises or all. Thank you for this video Sir.
Hi Patrick, Great video with a ton of value, as always! In it, you mentioned that you will be speaking at Texas A&M - is there more information on that? I've checked their site and nothing has come up, but I am really wanting a few friends of mine in that area to come hear you speak. I feel like they could greatly benefit from your wisdom, like I have since I found your channel earlier this year. Thank you so much! I look forward to every video!

Thank you Pat!
Did not fully understand when I first watched this.
I am recovering from my first loss, It is great that these videos are always there!
Have a goal, have a huge goal, make that goal a vision for your life.
Great channel Pat, I couldn't help but notice, 'come with me if you want to lift'. I'm glad to know you're also a supporter.

Love the example that you gave about how fast your subscribers doubled because of the goal with strategy en deadline!

Setting some goals at a 80% attainability makes sense, but it would also seem that setting easily attainable short-term goals would build momentum and faith (buy-in) in the process.
My thought on what you may think to fill those voids in between days, short 1 minute motivational clips.
Hello Patrick And the valuetainment I am really thankful with you for your content, You are changing the world men and I wish You success in your proyects.. Greetings From Colombia. thank you so much
This was great Pat and that was fun at the end. I appreciate all your efforts. C.

I would like to name a book called "The 4 disciplines of execution" Or known as the 4DX and achieving your Wildly Important Goals. Written by Chris McChesney, Sean Covey and Jim Huling on how to reach your goals but you come up a little short. Easy to read how to change your strategy.
Don't worry, you'll hit 100,000 by October
*THE PILLOW!!!*
***** cgi or 3d animation? stop motion or cartoon?
it never ends!!!
Hello Patrick. If you've already discussed this please forgive me, but could you possibly do a segment focusing on your transition from the military into entrepreneurship?
Pat, Your videos are great source of knowledge & you really got your edge , you are a bomb of energy man ! Keep inspiring the world buddy !
You are a great entrepreneur. This is just the knowledge I need to hear. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing. I's easy to understand because you use your own examples!
Thank you so much!
great video pat, great subject, we all lose sometimes and as entrepreneurs it is something we need to deal with often in order to improve

have you thought about billboard advertising, bulk mailing and google ad words for just the valuetainment channel? I really feel the country needs to see your content. Also you should probably look into getting endorsements from bigger channels to drive traffic to your channel.
Love your content, You motivated me to not give up and work harder. Thanks.
Pat i think having a goal and not earching it by deadline (but reaching it eventually) is much better than not having a goal at all... Im saying this as i see only 390 subs remain at this moment to reach 100 000. Good luck!
many many thanks for all your videos. all of them are great help. you aee an angel.
Pat can you make a video about "How to get a potential customers attention through phone?" i see that being a problem because a lot of people seem to just hang up the phone when they hear "Do you have a minute or two...". Since that is a part of promoting ones business i think that would be a great informational video to make.
appreciate all that great content you provide. like you said its music to my ears.
One has to set a goal that is reachable, but difficult.
Am always motivated by your video. You are really an encouragement, Thank You sir

You may have already addressed how u became successful. But I would really like to know how you started initially and how long did it take to get where you are today?
can't believe this is you !!!
Im the mike Tyson of losses When the going gets tough I will take take that ear.
I like this *Law of attraction* thing you've nicely explained here ☺️.. Recently read a book *Think and Grow rich*, and this video more or less summarises or all. Thank you for this video Sir.
Fantastic video! Thank you
How can we make entrepreneurship mainstream? that would be interesting to look into.
Hi Patrick,
Great video with a ton of value, as always!
