I like it I love it by Tim McGraw guitar/drum intro

Here I discuss how drummers and guitar players describe and feel things or count (or not) certain licks. This will show how to speak the same language to come in correctly for the song I like it I love it by Tim McGraw.
The guitar begins on the & of beat 1 in the first measure and the drums come in on the & of beat 1 in the second measure. No more "just feel it".

I'm a drummer, filling in as a bass player this weekend & couldn't figure where the hell the 'one' was. This helped out immensely, unlike a guitar player on another channel who has a negative opinion of drummers. (me thinks that he has a little too much dead air for brains). Ghost notes are a bitch to come in on.

@@jimflys2 This song (I Like It, I Love It) is reminiscent of 'Take It Easy' by The Eagles, with the ghost count at the beginning of the song. Without the count in the front, the 'one' is lost.
