This Is How Much My IDEAL LIFESTYLE Costs In Toronto (vs what I'll spend in Eastern Europe)

- Toronto is the second most expensive city in Canada and also one of the most unaffordable cities in the world if you take into consideration the wage vs cost of living gap. Nevertheless, it is an extremely popular place to immigrate to within Canada because it does give a lot of different career opportunities and always has a lot going on. While most people have to watch their budgets quite closely when living in this city, have you ever wondered just how much it would cost to live a very COMFORTABLE life here in the city? If so, I'd like to share with you my personal expense list of how much it would cost to live in the way I would like, while still allowing me to pursue my travel career and being away for half the year. At the end of the video I'll share with you the comparison budget of how much a similar lifestyle will cost me in the region of the world I am planning to move to soon, which is a country in Eastern Europe!

Toronto is a run-down 3-star hotel charging 5-star prices.
100%. & lousy weather most of the year.
So true
Best description
and Vancouver is a lonely cabin in the woods charging elite 5-star hotel prices :)
It is a pretty apt summary. But trust me, it has 7-star neighborhoods, but the price is shocking. The good side is it is relatively safe, stable and diverse. It has no natural disasters threatening your life and it is a great jumping off point for world travel. It is however congested. I pretty much view my neighborhood as a village within a big city.
I moved to Toronto from Montreal back in 1995. I was very young at the time and knew nobody there. Just bought a one-way bus ticket and arrived in Toronto with little money in my pocket, rented a very small room in a very old house and found a job as a waiter and met my girlfriend. She was working as a sales clerk in a mall. With our salaries combined we managed to rent a nice flat in a nice area of the city, we moved several times and changed flats because at the time there were plenty of options, mostly affordable. Ended up leaving Toronto for different reasons. Those were better times I think. Things have changed so much that it does not make sense.
Cities, that drive up prices for the youth of today, will eventually become cities with aged populations.
Exactly. It will only be children of wealthy parents who will be able to get a start in these cities.
I agree
@@AlinaMcleod I do think many of the older folks will eventually retire and sell out. The problem are these investment groups and corporations that buy up properties and drive up prices, making it less affordable for the youth in the future.
Good to see you ernest. 🍻
You need to visit Toronto if you haven't.
Downtown condos are falling in price. I've seen a couple 1 bdrms under $400,000 in the the core.
You are such an intelligent, thoughtful person. When I was your age, retirement savings was the last thing on my mind. Now that I am nearing retirement I have so many regrets!!! Great to see you have considered everything (present and future needs). I have no doubt you will make the right decision for yourself and your future. Hopefully sponsorships will come pouring in!!! Happy travels💚
Thank you so much! Very kind of you to say :) I have unfortunately seen a lot of examples of people being bad with money and not allocating enough for future stability, so I am trying my best to gain financial literacy and prioritize saving for the future.
Excellent intro. The cost of living in Canada is above the roof! Hoping you enjoy your destination in Europe 🛫
Toronto is expensive. I'm on disability social assistance and make $1300/month. I pay no taxes and get some coverage for dental and glasses. How i survive is by cooking my own food, go to clothing swaps, food banks. I have a subsidized rent living in a co-op. It's not ideal!
Sorry to hear that, very difficult situation to be in.
You make ? How exactly ?
Alina, you mentioned the financial aspects of living in Toronto but you left out one very important factor: stress. It can literally kill you if you find your life responsibilities too much to deal with. Safeguarding your health by having predictable expenses to the point where you can enjoy your life without stress complicating it, is huge! Money is important to have a good life, I don’t want to take away from it because everyone needs it to live but being positive, happy and relaxed about your life is what really makes it worthwhile. If you are able to balance those parts of your life in a way that fulfills you, you will be living your dream life. Best wishes! 😊
Thank you! Yes, stress is a huge factor of health and happiness. That's one of the main reasons of why I'm moving because it would be incredibly stressful to feel like every month I have to work so hard to meet my high expenses and on top of that there's more societal issues in Canada that I'm sure weigh heavy on people.
Toronto looks more beautiful with you.
Very well researched and presented video. Good Luck Alina
Thank you so much!

Happiness does not have a price stub attached it, regardless of where you shop for it, however, it's also not free and that's where the rubber meets the road. TO is crazy expensive, and not worth the price! You are smart to leave Canada! Please tell us more, as I’m right behind you!
The mindset of the bubble bursting is different from renters vs owners. Try telling someone whose paying a mortgage about the bubble bursting and see how they react
Of course! It's the crux of it all where a good chunk of Canadians are home owners and don't want prices to go down because their house is their biggest investment, but at the same time all the younger people can't afford to buy in at that price.
@@AlinaMcleod Exactly. And that means that these home owners didn't save enough! I really don't care if my home drops by even 50%. However most of my retirement assets are not in real estate!
What a considerate video! I just moved to Canada, so your video really appealing me when I envisioned my ideal lifestyle. Thank you for sharing your journey. I wish you all the best!
Aw pleasure and thank you!
I would probably say that in order to thrive and prosper in the City of Toronto, you have to make around $10,000 CAD per month after taxes. 😊
Sounds like 1 percent of the population.

Correct. 👌 Canada is one of the most expensive countries on earth at this point. 😭
Yup that has sadly become the new benchmark to living independently.
@@ElectroSharpTurtle Thanks mostly to the Liberal government (since they are in power most of the time). And the provincial governments have also helped to wreck our country.
Does that $10,000 include Starbucks every morning? 😂
The biggest con living in Canada in general is we are too reliant on other countries especially fresh produce and other goods. Now with the strike in U.S ports, it will definitely cripple consumer spending. People have no idea were in for in the next couple of months. There is already lots of Layoffs in tech in 10000 plus white collar jobs in Silicone Valley alone. If you have a crappy job right now, hang on to itIt will not get better in this economy especially war is intensifies in the middle east.
Hey, Alina! I love your videos and enjoyed this one. Thanks! 😊
Thank you and I'm glad!
Love this one, Alina!❤
Not to judge, but any interested soulmate for Alina, please take notes! :) GTA cost of living is out of control and how does the government expect a single adult like Alina to live comfortably?
Government really doesn’t care, none of the G7 countries give a toss about affordability , it’s all about growth and economic prosperity for the elites.
You may already know that Torontonian Nora Dunn (UA-camr: The Professional Hobo) has been (or may still be) in Bulgaria with her husband. Try to connect! Pretty sure that's where you're heading.
The 10% tax rate made it clear where she was moving to :).
You are speaking on living in a eastern European country where the Canadian dollars stretches alot more as with the US or UK or AUD. Try living in those countries with their local currency in a regular career job and see how well you may live. So at the end of the day you still need Canada in someway. Since the 1980 most of those eastern European countries have improved but not to the point where the local currency can afford you a great lifestyle, unless you have a extremely well paying career job. At the end of the day you are speaking on the fact that you will be living there using Canada currency converting it and getting way more at way cheaper so it's easier. Same reason alot of easter european women jump to marry foreginers leave and then come back to their home country to live a better lifestyle
Have you not heard of AI? or have you not figured out how to make money with it? either way that sounds like a YOU problem.
Yes, of course that's the situation and what many people have to do to survive nowadays. You think most people can afford to retire on just their savings and pensions in Canada? More people than ever are having to move abroad. Many people used to move to Canada/US to get better paid jobs but personally if I was in their position I would learn English to a native level, develop some online skills for companies and work remotely. The world has changed and we have to change with it.
Good points. Not to mention her income is in US dollars, which goes much further. Fortunately, I guess some people can make a very good living putting up videos and living a life of leisure travelling the world. Good for them. Something like this would be unheard of just a few years ago. Yes, the times have changed. We live in a very strange world indeed.
It’s not about currency, she is moving to a country that uses Euro which is worth more than the Canadian dollar.
What you mean is purchasing power and yes, Canada even though it’s expensive AF, has high salaries still compared to eastern europe, so Canada’s purchasing power is relatively high. Though it has deteriorated a lot in the last 10 years.
10 years ago it used to be the same as the US, but now it is half that. The US is on top gear and Canada is sleeping.
My ideal place to live? A country with a great biking infrastructure like the Netherlands but weather like California.
Love that
Really informative as well as entertaining video. Keep up the good work Alina! Can you please create a future video about a comparison between the cost of living in Saskatchewan and Saskatoon with Toronto? That would be highly appreciated.
Thank you so much!
We love Toronto. It's a city dear to our hearts. But it needs to get it's act together and the council members need to stop pointing fingers at each other. Losing people like you Alina who bring so much to the city would not be a good thing. As always, Alina , You've done the research. And the real estate moguls need to rethink their strategy about how they are pricing
young people out of the market for housing. The young are the future of a vibrant and thriving Toronto. What is you answer real estate moguls ?
As always, Alina. a great video that touches all the important points. Sending much love🥰🥰 from Harriet, Jim and Yuki currenting visiting in-laws in Washington DC
Well, most of the figures you used I would agree with except the 20% savings for retirement. I think and many studies I've read have indicated realistically 10% is the maximum most people can manage, and that is often a struggle. Now if it is assumed that you you actually have saved 20%, the government of the day looks at that large pile of capital, and indicating that they should be able to tax it again, so they can redistribute it as the government sees fit. Of course the whole premise falls apart when the average wage is around 50% or slightly less in Canada. That is why your plans make economic sense.
Yeah I sadly don't feel the government is currently that adept at helping people with their retirement and people have to be able to prepare their own savings on top of pension to actually be able to live without worry.
You sure know how to keep the suspense going with your journey. 😊 good luck to you
Really enjoyed this video Alina! Great job on doing the comparisons. It's just a shame what is going on in our countries! Wishing you the best and looking forward to your next video.
Thank you very much!
It's really sad how we are pretty much living in poverty these days. Yes, we may earn a high salary, but with the cost of living so high, we are living hand to mouth, paycheck to paycheck. We really do not have any "extra" money anymore for quality of life. I am with you 100% and plan to live abroad soon.
Places like Mexico are affordable, great medical care & mostly great weather. Get out and have a look! Leave Toronto far behind.
Yeah it's honestly insane how people with 'high paying careers' can be living paycheque to paycheque.
There is a very good saying: "A flying stone gathers no moss." If you're leaving with a purpose, that's one thing. But if you're leaving just to save some money, remember, time cannot be bought with money. In the USA and Canada, there hasn't been a war in the past 120 years, but in Europe, there have been two world wars, as well as regional conflicts, and there are conflicts even now. The likelihood of escalation is very high, and it will likely affect all or nearly all European countries. You're going there during this time to save money, but in the end, at best, when you're forced to flee home, you won't be able to take anything you've managed to buy in your new country. In the worst case, you may lose your life due to the war that is clearly brewing in the next 5-10 years.
I'm not just going to save money, it also makes so much sense for my business. Not only for my youtube channel but I have a lot of other things I'm working on that Europe is a much better base for. Canada is lovely and sure I could come back if things don't work out as planned, but I'm very excited to move abroad. I have lots of friends there and think I will have a much better lifestyle there than I would in Canada at this point in time.
@@AlinaMcleodTake care of yourself and may you feel well in your new place. Eastern Europe is a wonderful region, and kind and good people live there. I hope peace will be achieved, and that you will also be safe while living there.
Leaving Toronto is a good idea , homeless all over , people being attacked and police could care less about doing their jobs . All costs have been driven up , by Justin bringing in way too many people and creating shortages .
You are delusional if you think that if somebody else is in power they would bring in less people in a country with a 4.2 people for km/2 when most other countries have from 100 and upwards and a few even more then 1000. All racist native Canadians think that life would be the same if they don't do what their parents did but just live a life of hedonism and selfishness to the end of their days. They don't get married, they don't have kids and then they complain all day that the government brings in immigrants from all over the world to do the jobs that they don't want to do or they can't do anymore because they are old and there is not enough youth to fill the positions in essential services.
More or less 10% tax rate sounds a lot like Bulgaria ;) Best of successes with your project!
I'm absolutely not living the life I want. Been living in Québec City for the past 14 years. Not as expensive as Toronto, but still very expensive for a single person. Working hard to start my own gig and join the nomadic lifestyle in 2025, starting with a return to the Bansko Nomad Fest in June.
Thank you and hope you are able to make it happen! I plan on going to the Nomad Fest in Bansko this coming year as well :)
Great! I hope I get to say hi :) Safe travels!
Hi Alina, Yes, Toronto is still expensive over the years. I'm on ODSP Ontario Disability Support Plan insurance money, and it is $1,120 a month for me. So I can't afford a studio unit condo apartment or an older high-rise apartment for rent. The part-time job I currently have is $17-$20 an hour. So, there is not enough income for me and even groceries or transit.
I'm so sorry to hear that. It's an insanely expensive city even for people who have full time jobs.
@AlinaMcleod the truth hurts for me, doesn't it? Even if I do move out of my family home, I would go in and out of shelters or hotels for a few months to save money to avoid living on the streets, especially in winter months.
Great job Alina say hi to dad 👍 ❤😮🎉
10% tax sounds like my homeland, I will be so happy if you move here Alina!! I recently moved back “here” at 43 after a life in the US after parents immigrated there. It’s a very personal decision but you’ve done an amazing breakdown of it backed up by today’s true costs and considerations! Can’t wait for your reveal, 😊
Hello Alina. When I think of how much I spend. I sing, 'IF I WAS A RICH MAN."
Northern Virginia is similarly expensive, as we are near D.C. and home to many large tech and defense companies. So, salaries tend to be much higher than in other areas of the country, but so is the cost of living. Renting a nice 2 bed/2 bath apartment will cost between $2500 - $3500/month. Buying a modest condo will cost $400K to $500K, with modest single family homes costing between $700K to $900K.
Ah, I wanted to write a long comment about this "unnamed Eastern European" country you've chosen, but I'll respect your decision of keeping it 'a secret' for now and will comment on the video with the announcement. Hope all goes according to plan. Cheers :)
I might be announcing soon because the processing time is much longer than I expected lol
@@AlinaMcleod I am guessing Romania. If I am right do I win anything, LOL!

Thank Alina for that informative video .
I live in a bedroom in a beautiful house in Tottenham. But I don't have my 'own' place. I can use a lot of the house, but it's nowhere at all 'mine'. I drive cab and money is not good (jobs are crazy hard to find that doesn't require a bunch of degrees). Building my small buisness is a challenge because of costs.
If anyone has their own place, even a 1 bedroom apartment, bachelor apartment or even a small townhouse, you are lucky.

Have you considered Thailand for your next move?
I absolutely love Thailand and it was my top choice to live in SEA, but overall living in Eastern Europe was the better fit for now.
🎉😊very nice smile your wright.
Awesome video as always, Alina! I'm also considering moving out of Toronto, and I'm really drawn to Southeast Asian countries like Thailand and Indonesia. In your experience, what would be a reasonable budget for a couple to live comfortably, including some entertainment?
Thank you! It depends what you consider 'comfortable' but personally I would say if you're living in a popular hub like lets say Bangkok or even Koh Samui and sharing a spacious 1 or 2 bedroom apartment, eating out a lot, use Grab regularly and put money away for savings, I'd say around $4,000 would be a good place to start. You can do it for less of course, but at that range you will be able to do quite a bit.

😂😂不可能的,因为通货膨胀
@@如是我闻-h3z Can you tell it in English?
@@justman77.21 Due to inflation, prices will not decrease.😂
@@如是我闻-h3z
The harvest can only be harvested for a month. And there will be no harvest for another 11 months. Thus, prices will rise depending on how much of the crop is stored in the vault. And also, the prices for everything depend on how abundant and fertile the harvest will be. North America, including Canada, is the world leader in the number of cereals harvested, primarily wheat. Therefore, this country is still not feeling bad. And the increase in prices for non-food products such as, first of all, real estate is a whim of the local population and individual greed.
3200 for 2bed is not too bad lol. Here in Vancouver you can't find anything lower than 3500 and in downtown it's like 4000. So I live in a tiny studio for now and I'm pushing 40. Next year I plan on renting a 2bed but I need to find a well-paying job first.
A $1,000 a month just for eating and drinking out !!! $600 a month for discretionary shopping !!! You're high maintenance. One day the high salaries enjoyed in Canada, Australia and the USA are all going to come crashing down to fall into line with the rest of the world.
High salaries in Canada ? Lol
113k sounds about normal though ?
i’m thinking of giving toronto a try.
It's not normal actually, the average salary in Toronto for 2024 is about $60,000 CAD. Most people have to live with room mates/partner/family to afford rent. If you make 113K you will be able to afford your own one bedroom and overall a comfortable lifestyle so go for it if you have that kind of income and love the city!
@@AlinaMcleod I only been as a child, i’m not saying 113k is normal, im saying compared to other major big cities in the this part of the world.
Pittsburg is another city that is peaking my interest along with denver. I currently live in Florida, rent is around the same, but the average salary is way less than 60k lol
TO is unnecessarily expensive imho. We are asked to pay a lot, for a below-average product... Many other cities offer a lot more and don't cost as much.
Yeah the cost vs value is far too high in my opinion. If things were about 30% less expensive it would make much more sense.
Especially your country, which I'm going to in Jan/February.
Your video is why I have up long ago on moving to Canada. No one can afford it.
Your income will definately allow you to save money in the new country. 😊 This video helps me to compare the prices between the two countries and I'm shocked.
I'm happy to hear that!
@@AlinaMcleod I'm glad I could help with some information. Пожелавам ти успех!
Your example is not surprising to me, but one factor you should have addressed is the salary level a Canadian could expect in both countries. And if you had to have a local job (imagine you were not location independent), I bet that in Toronto is still much easier to earn $120k vs $60k in Eastern Europe.
I'm also relatively location independent and it's wonderful, but those who are not, these videos aren't very relevant.
I've addressed it in past videos, but I think most people already understand that fact. It's why Canada gets so much immigration of people hoping to land good jobs here and be able to send some money home. Honestly the economy in many countries is changing so much, industries becoming obsolete with things like AI taking over and the relatively 'rich' countries having such absurd costs of living for their own citizens, I think people really have to start thinking outside the box with how to create a strong income stream.
I'm in the Los Angeles California area and it can get expensive here 🙂...
I'm from L.A same ✌
good luck, Alina
what country is that? numa numa yei?
wow TO is really expensive .... I lived in Montreal as a grad student making way less than that and I don't recall it was that expensive... and winters are really harsh...
My dream lifestyle is my ideal lifestyle, and it would cost absolutely nothing and the place would be a Utopia.
A lot of competion for jobs in Toronto. The labor force is growing faster than jobs created. 8% unemployment and still raising
Yeah I had no idea the unemployment rate was that high recently.
IMHO, 1500 CAD for saving is a bit on the lower end taking into account inflation and other unforeseeable developments that can happen to anyone later in life. Don't forget that you are already in your thirties, and that it takes Mother Earth to circle around the glowing Sun thirty or so times, and voila you already find yourself in retirement. If cashflow allows, you should consider allocating more for savings. Other than that, your presentation makes a lot of sense.
For sure, I'd like to save as much as possible and probably will once I move abroad. But you also have to realize that $1500 CAD in the countries that I'm looking to live in go a very long way. In Canada you can't retire on $1,000,000 that easily, but in Eastern Europe or South East Asia you are set for life. I highly doubt I would choose to retire in Canada.
Hi Alina, try to visit Belgrade or Novi Sad in Serbia. With amount of money you make per year, you could live in Serbia like a queen. There are many other beautiful and interesting cities over there to see. Food over there is great too. I am sure you will like it.
I will definitely be visiting Serbia in the future!
The U.S. and Canada need more housing units in expensive areas. This is basic "Econ 101: Supply & Demand".
Not in my backyard! NIMBY
@@WilsonWilson-ec9dq Yes, that's an obstacle. When people are asked if their city needs more housing, they raise their hands. When they are then told that this additional supply of housing will bring down their property values, a lot of hands go down.
Definitely Windhoek! If I had the chance jobwise.
Alina if you lived rural for a few years while working remotely you could buy luxury urban property much sooner by saving more and faster. Especially considering compound interest working in your favor. Right now you are paying off someone else's luxury urban mortgage.
This is a fake example of living in Toronto, not what I'm actually doing :) I can have this great lifestyle in an Eastern European capital city and be able to put way more money away than even living in rural Canada.
What are you smoking ?
$5000/CAD a month living costs is a lot in a country outside North America. Even Toronto is really expensive and I am not spending $5000/CAD a month.
It certainly is!
If i have billions of dollars and i have to live in foreign country. That country should have warmer climate, safe environment, must have coastlines and shouldn’t be by the ocean because of dangerous jellyfish, aggressive sharks and saltwater alligators. So,because of the culture and kitchen that I used to have,I would choose Greece. If Greece wasn’t in the list of countries than I would choose Spain or Italy.
Well , $150,000 to live in a chicken coup apartment , no thanks.
Hi, Alina, I think you should live in Bangkok because the cost of living here is probably about 10-20% of that in Toronto!!! 😂😂😂

how come you don't want to get married? Its difficult for a woman to go solo in the world, even for us men.
Haven't found anyone I liked enough and that has a similar lifestyle!
Cities are too expensive! The rich are accumulating so much wealth and property the drive up prices, and restrict availability, for the rest of us. I believe cities are really too big, and everyone should be able to own a home. I think the small town of 10000-30000 people is healthier than huge cities and the biggest cities should be 100k max! Cities are big Missile Magnets and they attract alot of criminals....
Small towns are safer❤😂
Sure small centers are more affordable but the issue then becomes jobs. Unless you are working remotely or own your own business, there's not always that much to choose from.
@AlinaMcleod Our cities here tend to be 10,000-30,000 people but we have alot of shipyards, a refinery and petroleum terminal, and defense contractors.
💡👍Brilliant. !!
Sorry but no apartment includes utilities in their price tag, as far as I know. Before all this BS, yes, but now, no. I know that in Alberta, heat and water is included but not in Toronto. So, on top of that ridiculous rent price, you still have to pay for your heat, water, electricity and the internet, and now many apartment require you to get the apartment insurance too.
I know a few friends who have it all included now and when I lived here mine was also all inclusive. But yes, depends on the place.
Hope you don't have to wait as long for life saving surgery as you do for your visa. I live on 1000$ a month in the USA and I have a 100 acre farm.

Many Canadians still voting Trudeau after 9 years
You think other politicians will fix it? I don't think so..
@@SamoelPrince Trudeau made things worse by increasing taxes! CPC has never increased taxes that I remember. For example Stephen Harper actually LOWERED GST from 7 to 5%. At the time the Liberals objected to lowering to GST!
Then Trudeau flooded our cities with immigrants/migrants which put pressure on housing....
......And on and on!
These comparisons are fine but you're really missing the important details, incomes in developed western countries are higher than in eastern Europe. You have the ability to make money online and aren't part of the local workforce, of course its cheaper to live in Montenegro or Bulgaria or Albania.
I did say I'm in a privileged position to be able to work online and in CAD/USD currency. Many people move to Canada in the hopes of getting a better paid job but personally if I was an immigrant from a poor country I would only do that for a short period of time to build experience, but ideally just learn English to a native level and create a remote career.
Government pension is a JOKE - you will be living on the street with only that income, LOL!
My 2023 CPP was $15,596/yr (I had 39 years contribution and collected at age 65)
My 2023 OAS was $8,354/yr (I have always lived in Canada otherwise you may get less).
This all adds up to about ~$24k/yr and you CANNOT LIVE on this income. Fortunately I have other sources.
Yeah it's crazy how little that will cover in most places. It's understandable why so many Canadians are retiring abroad.
This fucking country is dying. I'm desperate to get out of this Canazuela.
How do the millions of regular people even survive in Toronto? :)
Almost always they have to live with room mates, partners or family! Very difficult to afford your own accommodation nowadays making the median wage.
@@AlinaMcleod I know, things got very expensive over the past decade. I was renting a 1 bedroom in an old highrise in DT Vancouver for $1,300 until the end of 2015. Then I bought my own home. The same 1 bedroom now costs more than double.
You're white, blonde and pretty. pretty easy to immigrate to most places. But you do great work, so those things dont take away from your quality work
lol thanks
@@AlinaMcleod lol 😂 sorry. You’re awesome!
When the populace are divided, the rich get richer.
I would pick Western Europe like Portugal and spain instead of Eastern Europe. Matter of fact Mexico, panama and brazil would be on my list for the americas to live in. Learn spanish and it will help you navigate easier.
ONE HAS TO BE AN OLIGARCH THESE DAYS IN TORONTO TO AFFORD THESE KINDS OF PRICES. RUSSIAN OLIGARCH, THAT IS.
Will you still be covered by Canadas health care system when you move .
After 6 months 🚫 no
Nope I won't be, will be getting private insurance.
What country would you suggest for immigration, I'm planning to move somewhere else from china
Depends on what you're looking for! I made two videos talking about my 2 favorite regions of the world Eastern Europe and South East Asia if you want to check them out.
@AlinaMcleod thanks for your kind reply. Unfortunately, I couldn't find your recommended video. Would you like to send me the links? Somewhere easy to settle ,small business opportunities, basically I m from East London, South Africa
Replace have with gave
Canada has become a very poor 'value' when compared to it's past ! -- Much like the US it has inflation out of control and is no longer ' attractive' ? -- Many foreign nations offer much better "value" ! - - - Sad - but very real.
I wouldn't say it's 'poor' value but it certainly could be better.
@@AlinaMcleod You would say that from your 30 something perspective. I'm 74 and have a different view of it !
I don`t think you included makeup, perfume, skin lotions etc that most women buy. So more $$$ per week/month.
That's in my shopping category!
รักนะครับ😊❤🎉
It's absolutely insane to see Western cities going through this - the younger population is definitely being priced out of the immediate surrounds, let alone the city centre.
Horrendous that Loblaws in Toronto would be the most expensive bowl of борщ you'd ever make 🤣
I just noticed that you said "Second most expensive" and googled other cities property prices.
Go home Vancouver, you're drunk.
Vancouver is definitely drunk lol
Rumor has it the war will be over soon and you'll be moving back to the Motherland Ukraine 🇺🇦 to help Zelensky rebuild the Nation!
Exciting Times for Sure!! 😅
Jesus, my and my partner's COMBINED income could barely cover that. And that's not even considering expenses for 3 dogs!
Yup unfortunately the current reality with wage stagnation vs cost of living.
Life is better and economical outside Canada as experienced
