    Thank you! I had to do this type of dipping for a class project at my college and being online schooling, there was no instructor guidance and My film shriveled up on itself so hard that it would immediately ruin when laid on the water and I had absolutely no idea why. The instructions do not mention any of this and encourage you to tape all 4 corners. This would have saved me so much time. thank you. I feel like I would be happy to go back and try it again now

    Does taping the edges effect the dip though, like the way it pulls to the object?

      @@justinw523 thanks, I find I do need to tape the edges though, otherwise I'd have no border to keep it in place once activated as well as getting it into the water. Dips have been working pretty well with tape.
