Love the fact that the category is listed as "Comedy"
Snarkin' on Parker is a sign of profound ignorance. While he may have influence style for a while, anyone in the industry can tell you a winemaker can change his or her style back from one season to the next. When you look at his influence on wine sales, and realize even through your narrow window of perspective, the uncountable number of jobs in the industry, the help to communities these jobs have enable, you will truly see his greatness. I've seen this snark, your insecurity , before. It is the brand of wine snobs everywhere.

valentin65 - You got that wrong - the audience were the 1000 leading names of the industry, from chateau owners, winemakers, viticulture experts, and lots of celebrities such as Jancis Robinson, Michel Rolland, Tim Atkin, Miguel Torres, and many more.
In 1993 in Atlanta Parker did the most amazing tastings in my lifetime: Cheval
Blanc 64-90 Palmer 61-90, so many, and Clive Coates also with Mouton 61-90, I remember him getting to the 61 saying if you spit this wine you are a fing idiot lol
NOt knowkleageble audience! Are you kidding me? For starters the owneres and winemakers of all the 20 chateaux, 26 MWs, and almost 1000 wine professionals from around the world. Simple language does not meet low level.
