It would be great if you could get Andre to do some blind tastings. I find watching an expert piece together the puzzle of a mystery wine helps a lot with the audience build their own knowledge of how to taste.
I recently had a 1961 Dom Perignon that somehow managed to still have some bubbles and hadn’t spoiled, barely tasted like champagne at that point (more like brandy) but was still an incredible experience
Much appreciated. He's really awakened my enjoyment of occasional wine and spirits. I've never known much about it, but I now approach it as an experience, to flavor celebrations and events.
That's brilliant. My parents are turning 80 next year and sourcing a vintage bottle of champagne might be a really cool present. Event if it turns out to be corked.
Andre needs to do a masterclass for wine tasting. Even those of us who understand this subject, appreciate the insight of a pro who really understands how to communicate the subject. Cool video. Great job.
As an amateur wine drinker but someone who has a pretty decent beer palate - I would love to drink wine with Andre - he isn't pretentious and is super educational.
Nice to see a bunch of ppl thinking the same thing I keep thinking. I would watch more Mack! I've already watched all his other features. Really enjoy his vibe & array of knowledge
Visited veuve and had a private tour and bought all of these and brought them back to the US. The vintages especially the rosé had a much stronger taste with deeper notes. Trying them all was pretty amazing the whole experience was great!
Dude, this SO great. Beautifully delivered! I can see I'm going to have to up my game INSANELY if I'm ever going to be in the Top5 with you! Big congrats on your place in the 67PallMall wine communicator awards.
The effect of oxygen over time is fascinating regardless of what it is reacting with. It brings so much electronegativity that drives so many reactions. Neat.
Anyone remember those mberries that changed the flavor of things? I would love to see Andre take one of those and try all kinds of wine with his palate changed
I grew fond of dandelion flower wine back in the '80's. Then eased into citrus wines. Then the natural progression to meads and banana wine. Was fermenting everything within reach.
@@TravelingStacker bro its an opinion, that math is not gonna change my preference for his talent and personality. If u dont like him just say that, no need to get all arithmatic on a stranger lol
I have a bottle of Veuve Cliequot still in the original box that was gifted to me in the late 1990’s, maybe 1996. Now I’m wondering if it’s time to enjoy it let it continue to age. I don’t see any signs of leakage, but I’m scared that may happen if I wait too long…..
I dont drink wine, but i watch every one of these. one topical question. is champagne stored the same a wine? tilted down, so no air should be at the cork?
Andre needs his own show
absolutely
He’s just so great!
Isn’t this his own show?
This is his own show
@@andrewehyang the person means his own channel he owns not working for bon appetit like brad has done

Konstantin Baum sometimes does that, it's a really fun channel if you're into wine
Inject an Andre blind tasting into me.
we must wonder if the oldest tasting notes are more positive than they would be blind.
I agree, blind tasting is so much fun and education for both the creator and the audience!
Without realizing his name was Andre, I thought you were making a joke on Andre, the other champagne brand xD
Thanks Andre. I'm a '73 vintage myself.
Can we get an episode where Andre uses his wine tasting skills to solve crimes?
This made me belly laugh 😂
yes! I need this show in my life. NCIS: Sommolier
"Luv da gahhhme", we love you Andre.
Andre needs a series going through each country/style/grape
I think he's done something like that already.
Would love it if they invited the wine king on the show to talk about different varietals. Love their content and mentor, mentee dynamic as well
I recently had a 1961 Dom Perignon that somehow managed to still have some bubbles and hadn’t spoiled, barely tasted like champagne at that point (more like brandy) but was still an incredible experience
We love an André Mack experience
Vintage champagne makes Andre very happy, Andre tasting vintage champagne makes me very happy
Much appreciated. He's really awakened my enjoyment of occasional wine and spirits. I've never known much about it, but I now approach it as an experience, to flavor celebrations and events.
André is the best. So entertaining to watch. Love his passion.
no he's not the best there are many people better!!
what you are doing is spreading lies!!! andre is NOT the best.

I had a 1975 veuve last week and it was insane, so nutty and popcorny, and the dried fruit and the acid were still all there! It was a real treat!
Yaaaaaay I love Andre’s segments so much, thank you!!
As an amateur wine drinker but someone who has a pretty decent beer palate - I would love to drink wine with Andre - he isn't pretentious and is super educational.
I rarely drink anymore but I always pull up for Mr. Mack’s videos 🍾
Nice to see a bunch of ppl thinking the same thing I keep thinking. I would watch more Mack! I've already watched all his other features. Really enjoy his vibe & array of knowledge
This is an example of how you can be a master at anything, if you love it.
Oh he’s so likable and interesting. I enjoyed hearing his descriptive breakdown
Love his passion, he needs a whole series
Tf do you think you’re watching?
The Mack Daddy does it again. Very informational, Very Educational, Very interesting. Thank You Andre' ..............👍👍👍
You win some you lose some, but you always learn. Cheers and thanks. BTW love your book
He has a book?
What a treat to try out all of these different vintages. I was sad when Andre tasted the 1973. =(
Love watching Andre. Sipping my Kirkland Champagne while watching this :) lol
Andre is the best...always keeps it so real. Love his perspective.
Thank you, Andre! 😊 Very educational. 😊
Love him! Powerful teaching!
Andre is awesome. I agree, he should do his own show on wines and travel. Let's goooo
I saw Andre and I immediately clicked!!! Andre needs his own show.
Do people here think this is Andre’s first time on Bon Appétit? He’s…the…one…who…hosts…this…series.
Amazing video thank you so much André!
this guy's videos are the only bon apetit videos worth watching.
Love this entire series with Andre! Would love to see a vid about orange or natural wine. Bring the funk! We gotta have that funk!
Love watching Andre
as a recovering alcoholic i can enjoy these videos based on pure art of wine because of Andre and find a different respect for it
Definitely need more André!
"Champagne every day" Yesssss!!!!
Andre the Great! Love this stuff.
This was fantastic! 1993 hunt begins! Thank you Andre 🎉
I appreciate what you do.
Thank you
Andre always provides great content and is great at explaining wine.
I love andre. What a king
Super cool! Love Andre, and love this show!
The love shown for the 1973 was so touching, I don't know why.
I bought a $50 bottle of VC 15 years ago. It was a whole different thing than any champagne I'd ever had. Might do it again, one more time.
More Andre!!
Thanks Andre! So informative. Can't wait to see more.
Visited veuve and had a private tour and bought all of these and brought them back to the US. The vintages especially the rosé had a much stronger taste with deeper notes. Trying them all was pretty amazing the whole experience was great!
Thanks for risking your life with this tasting, worth it! 😅

What a way to start my day. Perfect.
Oldest bottle I've managed to get is an '88 Deutz Grand Cuvee, and it was absolutely fantastic. Easily in my top 3 wines I've consumed.
Yeah, Andre, you really do need your own show!
🥂 Agree! Champagne all the time! Cheers!
Are these chilled? Do you have temperature preferences for reviewing vs drinking a full glass?
He’s such a vibe 🍾🥂
I don’t even drink alcohol, but I enjoy this wonderful man’s videos. He could be talking about laundry detergent and I’d still watch his episodes.
The effect of oxygen over time is fascinating regardless of what it is reacting with. It brings so much electronegativity that drives so many reactions. Neat.
Brilliant as always, cheers!
I enjoyed watching this. Thank you!
I could watch him all day. 10/10, BA.
I'm not a big drinker (at all), but love learning about wines. And Andre's knowledge, like most other somms, is astounding to me. Love to learn.
3:01 😂
love this guy
Love Andre!! Thank you guys for continuing to bring him on. 🤍🤍
Would love andré to do a Armagnac episode. This was and excellent episode.
I wish I knew how he learned to identify flavours the way he does. It's so amazing.
Taste and smell a lot of food.
The moment when you realize you no longer have to be afraid to open champagne 🤯
I was taught to just put a towel over it and hold it down to catch the cork. Super easy
This dude is the best. Always bringing the knowledge and a great outlook. Love it.
Easy and educational. Just the way we like it.
“I love the game…” -Money Making Mitch 😭
I absolutely love those wine glasses. where can i find them? 😮😮
Can we have him watch wine movies? One of my favorites is Bottle Shock. Sideways etc
More of these please
Andre is awesome!
In Sweden we generally just call it "The Yellow Widow". It's probably my favourite out of the ones that are readily available in any liquor store.
Because Ms. Clicquot Ponsardin became a widow at the dear age of 27
@@heidelbergaren5054and veuve does mean widow
I agree Andre Champagne every day.
Really entertaining and educational video - Thank you!
Shout out to the '93 babies - may we age like Champagne🥂
'82 baby here. Would love to age like any fine wine.
94 here ;)
Awesome video thank you

Loved it . Thank you
8:35 I would be pretty upset to find that my $600+ bottle of vintage champage has been compromised
When I saw the whirled up sediment, my first thought was mother of vinegar. 😂 I‘m glad it was "only" oxidized, not champagne vinegar.
When I retired a friend gave me a bottle of Krug 1990 Champagne. Should I expect that this wine has held up well over the years? Love your videos.
This guy is so amazing
Keep em coming!
Love the game ❤❤❤ nice señor. Love this passion and knowledge 🎉
Andre is awesome 🫡
favorite champagne. excited for this
André - classy G 🙌🏼 Great video.
Andre is carrying this channel
He has 24 videos spanning two years. A lot of his videos aren't getting the same views as cooking videos. How is he carrying this channel?

I was relieved when the '73 didn't end up poisoning the poor guy lol
