I want you to take control of their probes/scvs then build a protoss/terran army as zerg. That would be the most funny yet difficult challenge.
Against protoss its decently possible since you just need a probe for a few second to build a nexus and other buildings. Against terran is almost impossible because you need multiple neurals to finish the build, the terran easily spots what you are doing in between the neurals (meaning you have to guard it way better) and you need to ensure your own units and defenses dont kill the scv.

Edit: What would that actually mean, realisticly? Infestorrush so quick that you can intercept the worker at the natural? Is this even possible? The more I think about it, the more exited I get :D
Yeah, there are very sick combinations, like Thors in a nydus or recalling banelings with a mothership or dropping ultras with a medivac. I would LOVE to see all that, but these kind of strategies are almost impossible to pull of.
The queen popping in and out of the nydus to kill the oracle was hilarious 🤣

Cheese idea: Rush burrow. Burrow zerglings in a circle around where they're going to expand without blocking it, wait for their nexus/hatch to finish, then unburrow pre-surrounded and take it out.
An even better variation is to burrow banelings next to the mineral line. Wait for them to expand and transfer their workers, then boom!

Sooo many options with burrow, defensive, offensive, traps, roaches, investors... Ideally combined with a targeted destruction of detection.
I think nydus swarm host is quite good. Very fun to watch.
I think nydus lurker would also be fun. I'm not sure if lurkers can be built fast enough though, to do a cheese.
I envision of nydus popping into his main base and 12 lurkers popping out and then boom all his buildings are destroyed in about 5 seconds.
as an ex semi-pro zerg for Psistorm Gaming, I will enjoy seeing what uthermal's brain, and zerg cheese can come up with ! 17gas 17pool is decent at causing disruption. But if you get blocked you need to take your third, which is annoying. I personally think that another opening will give you more chaotic options: 15pool (before ov) 14gas, 15ov, (make one single drone when ov pops) put only 2 drones into gas. Make 6 lings, drone to 22 supply, take natural, take ling speed (with 2 drones it should line up perfectly after you take your nat) 22 ov, leave 2 drones on gas to take a fast lair, or very fast burrow, or fast bane next, or ect. 36 supply ov and burrow tech. 44 ov and lair, and 2 spores, 52 take 3 more gas, and choose your tech.
furthermore, 2 base tech expand will likely allow you to come up with the most random cheese builds. including 2 base swarm host, 2 base hydra lurker drops, ect ect.
While I'm not an SC2 player myself, I was drawn in by the man, and I must say, he truly delivered beyond expectations.
The" burrow around future ccs and surround when completed" suggested by someone else sounds really cool

I have a fun strategy that I would love to see uthurmal do which is lurker drop. Kinda bad tbh but who cares
A different one that actually works super well that i think dark used inspired by erik is you rush lair and get ovi speed with roaches. What erik did was queen drop tumors to block expansions but instead you can use the queens offensively make a lot more roaches
It completely decitmated stargate and banshee openings since their unit count is rather low and you actually have good anti air. Tbh I did this cheese myself before I saw dark cause I messed up the build but nvm that.
Is it possible to make so many overlords and move them in over your army so they can't see what's happening or click on thier units to micro?
I’ve always wanted to see someone utilize overlords as a way of messing up someone’s micro somehow. Just take a cloud of overlords with speed and make it difficult to either target your units or perhaps to control their own units? I imagine someone splitting marines vs banes for example and having a hard time seeing properly to click to kill banes because there’s an overlord cloud above the battle.
sadly this doesn’t rly work cus just attack move automatically targets actual attacking enemies first :c
@@MrFancyGamer you can’t attack move against ling bane with Marines. You either have to split to minimize damage, or focus fire the banes.
The Neural challenge is still my #1 request. Has been for ages....would love to see you do it!
That last game almost felt like Day9 and Apollo mind games chat. 'So you build your natural, and you transfer ALL your drones to it, so you can hude lings in your main. But your opponent doesn't scout so doesn't see your natural saturation... and then you just go all in anyways. MIND GAMES.'
Intentionally failed cannon rush at natural to mask dark templar rush with secret main base pylon
Burrow banes at your opponent's third or 4th mineral line. Wait till he saturates, then detonate! :D

going for second army by stealing your opponent's worker is always sick. Wish it was like brood war where it gives an extra 200 supply
I believe the Zerg player Lorimbo has some of the best Zerg ladder cheese builds out there.
I remember an hilarious video about his builds on Harstem's channel.
cheese challenge idea: Blot out the Sun
In honor of a classic, make an absurd amount of overlords, fly the giant mass over the enemy base, and drop an army on their heads while generating creep. any units allowed except flyers, seers allowed, obv you need drops.
The idea is they cant micro at ALL because of how many lords you have, and their units get too caught up shooting overlords instead of the actual army eating their base. WarOwl did it first, coined the phrase "all your base r belong to me" and it was legendary

Banelings, Swarmhosts and 20 alternate unit army supply to GM. Pick whatever you want but only one per game and only 20 supply. More excited for uThermal to become a baneling monster.

Should do one where you only build burrowing units. Roaches, infestors, lurkers, swarm hosts.
Second one I'd love to see is a rush to broodlord
For a zerg build vs zerg: go up to 14 drones, double extractor trick, then send a dron for the second hatchery, another dron for the extractor, and the pool as soon as you have the minerals.
One more dron to go back to 14, as soon as the extractor is done 3 drones there to harvest 100 gas asap.
Time to build two overlords
Your second hatchery and the spawning pool should finish around the same time, as well as you getting 100 gas, now you have to start lings speed, build a queen and take off all drones from gas
Fron now on you build only lings and when speed finish you go for a ling flood. Main advantage is limgs speed 15-30 secs earlier than the other guy and massive army. You'll have to dance with banes tho
Cheese idea, Nibus highways. Just create like tons of nibus worms all over your base and map, so you can move your entire army across the map very fast.
Great video. Love the way you explain the flow of the game. Would love to see you try infestor fungal drops on their mineral lines. then finish with what ever unit you want.

So this is extraordinarily silly, but hear me out...
Overseers, obviously, don't cost supply. So in theory, you could make an insane amount of overseers, and use mass changelings on hold command to really mess up your opponent's ability to move their units. I've always wanted to try to mess with it to troll, but I don't have the mechanics uThermal does of course. Would love to see this!

I want to see a whole nydus rush only run. You're the only one crazy enough to pull it off. Games with a lot of nydus become very chaotic and fun. You get a subway system when the opponent has to walk like a noob.

Really glad you're back producing your best type of content. The other stuff content wasn't as engaging without the challenge process of build development and refinement. That's a big element of what makes your content work for me at least - innovation, exploration, refinement. I still watched videos but definitely not as consistently.
I have a weird minichallenge. Neurosuicide infestor just for a fun short moment, neuro parasite ghost and snipe the infestor controlling the ghost.

Factory-in-their-base variant: Dropper lord a queen into the corner of their base, poop creep, and start planting down creep tumors. Spread as much creep as you can in their base without being spotted.

doing protoss and zerg at the same time goes against everything uthermal taught me. dude needs to focus on just one race.
I don't know if it is possible, but I want you to burrow 6 or so slow banelings at opponent's likely 3rd mineral line before that base gets taken, then put heavy muta pressure on natural to chase even more workers to 3rd. Kaboom.
Nydus rushes is always really fun. For extra style points, do Nydus rush and Drop-lords at the same time.

I main Swarm Host nydus builds when playing team games for the lols. Been doing it for years and recently people have been doing it more regularly. Need to micro it a bit more than what's happening here. Multi Nydus, pull them in and out partially launching, individual hold positions on locust etc. and can do massive damage.
Also, yes, you would have killed that Nexus 100 percent if you targeted.
Mass muta to bait Phoenix into mass viper could be fun to watch haha

Hey Mark, thanks for the games. I wonder if you could make this work: use the overseer ability in a cheese that stops production and research to maintain opponent at no upgrade while you take 1/1 and 2/2 ! Or a contaminate to grandmaster serie :)
ZvZ I like to start out standard and then make an evo chamber after the spawning pool and rush out +1 melee and then speed after. If you hold against the initial wave of lings, you win.
some kind of cheese involving dropperlords would be cool to see. Or maybe some fast burrow.

Delicious Zerg cheese. I would suggest dropping 4 infestors in 2 mineral lines and killing most workers. Don’t know if the new patch will make it non viable. The other one must involve ultras and queens for transfuse, with burrow for extra micro power.
Remember when swarm host didn't need to be microed to spawn locust

Hopfully this helps but 26 drones in minerals off 2 bases allows you to constantly produce units otherwise you simply can’t afford to spend your larva.
Is it possible to do a Infestor Fungal Growth on workers harassment, army can only be used for defense/clearing detection for infestor protection?
you need 5 swarm to kill an undefended nexus. the greediest i go with it is in 4s, hatch first, no queen, i can hit at 4:05 with 6 swarm
