- Greetings Darklings. This week, Ken, Collin, and Katy had the enormous pleasure to chat with Raymond Watts about the upcoming PIG album, "Pain is God." The crew takes a deep dive with Raymond into the persona of PIG, the pains of releasing an album during a pandemic, amazing tour stories from the beforetimes, and so much more.

Raymond seems like your neighbourhood dad every kid loves.
Raymond's got the most contagious laugh I've heard in years. Excellent interview. Thank you for getting him on the show and asking such great questions.
Thank you, it was truly fascinating to hear him discuss everything with such candor
I met Raymondo in a pub in London in 04 when KMFDM were in town. Me & my mate had taken 1/2 a day off work to attend the gig & he was like "you'd take time off work to come & say helloo ?". It was good to have a chat. nowadays, how fresh faced & enthusiastic ? It's great to have you back. JP
That is awesome
Incredible interview!
I agree.
Been a fan since the late 90's.. Introduced my wife to his music, and went to a few shows together. Always do the "meet and greet" thing for fun. He's very personable with his fans. Last time we met, we had a discussion about guns. It was great.
Great record!!! No other words needed! Great to hear from Raymond as just himself. Further justifies my collection of all his works. Cheers!
Great interview! Such a great personality and I totally agree so many songs today the lyrics are almost an afterthought buried within a track and just aren't memorable like they used to be. Always have enjoyed your lyrics and vocal delivery.
I have always thought that PIG the "Character" and Raymond Watts the man,are both extreamly cool 😎 I'll never forget that first concert I saw in '98 at Roseland in NYC during the Wrecked tour, obviously being a KMFDM fan, I bought that PIG CD that day.
Im glad this mans still around. Hes a good one. Also: Depeche Modes in his credits...
Love the hog tag idea. Really interesting guy.
Raymond is such a nice dude, seen a bunch of times, always get VIP tickets just to show support (although I do love the goody bag) even though after the shows he hangs out and is happy to take pictures with people. Last US tour was amazing with En Esch, Steve White and Galen Waling. So down to earth, charming, and considerate of fans. (*edit*) Oh and he brings it, huge stage presence even when he is under the weather.
Yes such an accessable guy
This man sounds fucking amazing. And you guys rock
vs.
Hilarious
sweet channel ..what a delight to hear Raymond talk about making music ..!!!!! Thank you
Raymond Watts comes off as...so ordinary. Yet not boring like Marilyn Manson. It's pretty clear he's not the wild young man he used to be, but that has also meant he is much clearer headed.
As I matured? I've come to appreciate the division between performance and reality...which drives home why my autistic ass could never do what he does. I feel too much a need to live up to the onstage image.
Duuude
I know right
33:58 !!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA... Still popular love.
ray watts is the danhausen of industrial music. very nice, very evil!
