It took years for me to realize that all of my favorite kmfdm material was the stuff with Raymond Watts, no shade on Sasha and the other participants, it's the whole thing together that makes for me that early music great. The early music, before it becomes self-parody before the stereotypy.
Raymond shouldn't be surprised that people make the drive to see him. Even during his hiatus, he never faded away for me. I'm surprised to see that he ended up having more staying power than Ministry and NIN for me. Though Skinny Puppy is still giving stiff competition.
@@michaelsinn16That's interesting, 12 people, thats about how many people might be at one of my uncles shows, my uncle is a local noise artist. I've known about Pig since the 90s, I became a kmfdm fan in the 90s, but it took me all the way until only 2 weeks ago to actually listen to Pig, now I've listened to about 4 or 5 of his albums and about 2 of his EPs and I can honestly say I enjoy them as much as I enjoy kmfdms albums.
Raymond is a singularly brilliant musician. He is our boarther. Our Lard and Savior. The king of pigs and sows alike. Listen to everything he's done. Never disappoints.
The Lord of Lard, the Mighty Swine He loves Manchego and a bottle of wine Also known as Raymond Watts, He screams out his lungs while his brain slowly rots!
Hardcore PIG fan and all around Rivethead since the beginning.c'mon Ray,don't sell out.then all the underground has is what's left of skinny puppy(also an awesome band)
In May 2006, Grey moved to Los Angeles and began appearing in adult films just after turning 18.[1] Originally she toyed with the name Anna Karina,[1] taken after the French New Wave actress, before deciding on her present name. The name "Sasha" was taken from Sascha Konietzko of the band KMFDM,[20] and "Grey" represents Oscar Wilde's novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. [It's not random chance it's mutual interests]
Oh, boy, the rehab bit makes a lot of sense. I saw KMFDM with Ray on the 2002 and 2003 KMFDM tours. Ray looked AWFUL. Like, strung out awful. I have a picture with him. I was thrilled to meet him because I was a huge fan of both bands. But I don't like to show the picture because of how terrible he looked. He looks better now, twenty years later, than he did back then.

NIN's new material is amazing. I recommend checking it out.
Downward Spiral was the last decent NIN offering. Dreadful band.
If you are looking for something new try Snog's Compliance or Ohgr's Tricks. Both offer lyrical and sonic greatness.
@@ariescustomHave you listened to all of the albums nine inch nails has released since the downward spiral?
@@dunstonmunson8314 Yes
Waited over 25 years to see PIG. I'm seeing him 10/3/18 in Salt Lake City, UT. I can't wait!!!!
Wow, how did go? Here we are 6 years later.
@@dunstonmunson8314 It was good. Shockingly there was only 12 people in the audience.

How is it selling out? Other than NIN and Ministry, I can't recall any industrial on MTV. It's always been an experimental and unpredictable genre.
Dude that's not accurate at all. The last few years have seen a ton of rad newer industrial acts.

In a heartbeat I'd go see PIG! Cheers Raymond! One of my fav shirts I owned Find it, Fuck it, Forget it.
love this man
Hi ! Very good ?😊
Raymond Watts was in Psychic TV? Didn’t know that.
Not sure what the Sasha Grey thing is all about though..
PIG was always a bit too on the metal side of industrial for my tastes but Raymond comes off as a very sound dude
YES OMG
Teach Sasha Grey how to sing! But good for Raymond for using her fame to get himself more PR.
Honestly, her voice is not bad at all. It's unusual but still very good.
@My meds give me mood swings disagree. I don't think it's bad
"We just banged it out real quickly." Uh-huh PIG loves his puns.
Her voice is fine, it's just not industry standard. And it's better that way.

Bloody awful cover (of a bloody awful song), but it's great to have The Lord Of Lard producing music again!
Praise the Lard!
