Wow. Defendant told his daughter to enter a house on her own where there was a possible burglary and unknown if anyone was still in there. Father of the year there. 😳
I'm with you on that I think she should have went outside and called the police and say I think somebody broke in I never would have told my daughter to go upstairs or my son or anyone to do that 🙄🙄🙄
I thought the judge for sure would have got on him for sending his 13 yr old inside a house where the backdoor was left open. Smh. There is absolutely nothing that would be so important that I would have to send my child inside a house that someone may have accessed illegally.
Echoing everyone else’s sentiments. He’s stupid azell for sending that girl into a house where the door had been left ajar. Even if she’d been an adult, I would have told her NOT to enter that house! I’m surprised JM didn’t call him out on that.
Why would you send a 13 yr old up to a possible burglary by herself. That person or persons could've still been in there to hurt her. Wtf! He should've told her to not go up and call the police. 🤨
Translation of Doug's question for the defandant: what kind of coward are you that sends his teenage daughter in to see if there are potentially violent burglars in the house?
Lol, she said to hold up the text. He just reads it, and leaves out the important word. He just thought she'd forget that she wanted him to hold it up?? Lmao
I second -- no, third -- no, one hundredth what everyone else is saying: Defendant is a HORRIBLE dad for telling his child to go into a house where there is very possibly a criminal present. If one of my kids had ever called me to tell me our door was open when they got home, I would've told them to get out of the house, go to a neighbor's and call the police, and I'm on my way home. What was he thinking??!!??
Steven's face is all of us when the boss asks to do a quick check in at 4:55pm on a Tuesday. He really just looks like he'd like for this whole thing to go to hell.
My stomach dropped when he said he sent his 13 year old upstairs to check for missing things. What if it had been an actual burglar?? Glad Doug said something, but I'm surprised JM didn't.
If this defendant was in front of JM👩⚖️I think she would of gave him the riot act. I can't believe she just let it slide sending his daughter into possibly a active crime scene. Missing items were more important than her safety. 🤦♀️
How wouldn't he know? Where else did he think the money for rent was was coming from?! He knew he a loser! He knew they were getting a loan! Disgusting to steal from family!! I guess both of them are burglars. 🤣
The plaintiff should have been suing her girlfriend or the girlfriend's sister. Just because he was the beneficiary of the money doesn't make him responsible for its repayment, no more than if the sister had bought some furniture, it wouldn't be the furniture store that would owe the plaintiff her money. She had the contract with her girlfriend's sister...
When the defendant was interviewed in the hallway and the issue was brought up about how he asked his daughter to go upstairs and see if anything was missing that was my exact thought when I heard him testify to that, I was thinking why would you send your daughter upstairs to see if anything's missing if you think your house has potentially been broken into!? I would have been the one to go and check out the house not my child!
My first issue is why wouldn’t he order his child to call 911 and make sure she’s safe. Then my second issue is him trying to skip over the word house in the text message. 😭
What a stupid dad! You don't ever send a your child into a house like that! She could of been taken raped or killed! It was probably drugs that he had her check to see if it was gone! Who doesn't call the cops to see if anyone is still in the house! I'm really surprised the judge didn't tear him a new one!
If my kid came home to it possibly burglarized, the last thing I would do is send them in to check "what may have been stolen" * I'm thinking he set everything up
Hey everybody..she know she should of just went ahead and said why Lydia went to jail because JM nosey her whole face lit up when she heard that😂omg this man literally sent his daughter in the house not knowing if someone was actually in there tf
Who else feels like a 2nd yr law student after binge watching Judge Milian & Judge Mathis? ✋️ 😆. Loans are simple contract cases. 3 parts to a contract- offer, acceptance and agreement. The plaintiff is suing the wrong person b/c the agreement was with Lydia unless he acknowledges that she acted on his behalf as his agent. Otherwise his p2p is not worth .02 in Chinese $. 😄 2nd point: your teenage daughter comes home and finds the back door slightly a jar when she didn't leave it that way so you're wonderful parenting skills tells her to go check the house out?! Great job Mr Mom (insert sarcasm) 🙄 🤔🤡💩🤦♀️
So the plantiff and her family feel like Lydia is innocent in all this and she's not also responsible for the loan she was given. Lydia sounds like a nightmare and they need to stop protecting this loser.
Funny how she went after the defendant but not gonna go after her partner’s sister if dude had no choice but to pay it would’ve been $300 if any moral obligation is suggested
Please, please, please bring the in person trials back. These television characters are getting annoying. 🤔 🥳 FATHER OF THE YEAR! 🥳 House broken into send your daughter into the house! Tell her go to the neighbors to call 911 and get your a$$ out of work to make sure your daughter is safe.
Both Harvey and the Judge need some new standard questions and lines. Flapping gums doesn’t make sense, should be lips for example. Who’s worse landlords or tenants is another example.
This case stems from a woman scorned. Oftentimes the trail of deceit leads back to some no good woman at the root of it all. But I'm elated that this defendant won his case.
Wow. Defendant told his daughter to enter a house on her own where there was a possible burglary and unknown if anyone was still in there. Father of the year there. 😳
Right!? I was shocked when he said that 🤯
I just commented this! Who does that?!?!
My first reaction as well!! Especially at 13 bad things can happen!!!
I'm with you on that I think she should have went outside and called the police and say I think somebody broke in I never would have told my daughter to go upstairs or my son or anyone to do that 🙄🙄🙄
@@GG-PAT I think she shouldn't have gone inside at all! Go away from the house, call the police immediately!
Thirteen-year-old finds the back door suspiciously open and defendant tells her to go upstairs and see if anything was missing? Ouch!
I came to say this!!!! Just not smart at all
Right! Instead of him telling his daughter to leave the house and go call the police! What kind of father is that!?!
That's cause he knew who had taken them. Who else would want their family pictures?
I thought the judge for sure would have got on him for sending his 13 yr old inside a house where the backdoor was left open. Smh. There is absolutely nothing that would be so important that I would have to send my child inside a house that someone may have accessed illegally.
I thought that was odd too. What if it was a rapist or murderer?? That 13 year old can't defend herself.
Lol at Steven just "accidentally" leaving out the word house. 🤣
I’m glad Doug called him on having his child go into a house that could have criminals currently in it
Doug never disappoints in calling litigants out on their foolishness. 😂😅

Who has their CHILD enter a house that appears has been broken into and not only that, LOOK AROUND and check things out? Are you kidding me?
Your child says the back door is open and you don't tell her to go to a neighbor's home and call the police? Weird.
Why would he send his child inside to a house with an ajar door?? Did he want to get rid of her? Cmon now

99.9% of people who are a victim of burglary, come to find out later, it was by someone they knew, and she was the only one, with motive 💯
I swear it’s cases like this that stress me out. People are such liars. & to make it worse there BAD liars.
You have your thirteen year old go through the house when discovering a break in? What if the prowler was still in there!?! I call “radishes.”
What a coward to send a kid to see if a break in occurred. Your 13yr old is more brave and smarter then you, dad!

Girl you said it. So much baggage that family is known as the Samsonite Tribe in their neighborhood. 😊
