@@jaymum23 That's right, we still had our bars and coffee shops we raced our motorcycles in between against each other and everybody else ... and saw each other when talking, and when insulting.
The Pantera, especially this variant, is the perfect brute. Beautiful in it’s not too pretty looks, and so appropriately fitted with the CHUGGA CHUGGA 351 Cleveland. I loved it as a young boy and appreciate it even more today.
It's remarkable how similar in shape the Pantera is to its "sister" Mangusta; how good it looks by itself... except when you put it next to a Mangusta! The Pantera is nice, it's hard to knock 600HP. But compared to even a 200HP Mangusta, it's just another fast old car that has no more presence nor desirability than any number of other 70's Italian styling jobs. The Pantera is pretty hot, no doubt about it.🤗 But the Mangusta?😳 🤯🤯🤯SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!🤪🤪🤪 😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🥰
Pretty much remember my 1st Pantera sightning was at Castle Combe in the late 80's . memory has BEG 4 IT was the reg on it and red ?.. Hooked ever since :)
my neighbor had one of these when i was in fifth grade, it was yellow and i remember walking on the side of the road as i did back then. i startled to the loud italian horn and the car rolled up next to me and stopped “get in kid, i know your dad Bruce”. i got in and had an amazing ride home
1975, meet a girl, then met her Father.... he owned one of these.... and yes he let me drive it.. not just once.. but many many times The girl? She cheated on me... I still miss her Dad
My first ticket at 15 yrs old was in a Pantera! Lots of fun it had a certain hum to it and I always knew when the old man was coming around the corner!😊
I remember the first time I saw one of these in Cincinnati, Ohio; in yellow! The guy lived about a kilometer from me. His parents owned a small shopping mall.
Love it besides the lettering on side . Pantera is my fave classic car . 600 Hp is a great HP # as well . They are one of my fave cars period , im 56 and it has always been my dream car over lambo ,ferrari , maserati , etc . Perfect blend of tough but sleek . I dont likethe winged and body treatments etc , JUST LIKE THIS . Lettering is small and personal thing , and of no real consequence and I could understand wanting something on white car and maybe I am wrong , White and those wheels is classy tits .
awesome car i own a volvo 144 1972 model my self. original b20a engine. but im gonna add a turbo later to it so i est around 260hp in a car that weigh 1020kg
The simplicity of this car is delightful. You lucky chap!
When cars were cars and engines were engines. Magnificent.
It's not the original engine in this car. And the car itself has been modified. Original Panteras weren't this wide.
@@McLarenMercedes True, wondered about that. I am old enough to remember them when they came out, so I should have caught that. Thank you.
Well, and men reigning those cars around were men ....
@@manfredschmalbach9023 Yeah back then “men” weren’t whining on the internet about masculinity.😂

De Tomaso one of my favourites
I have been in love with Panteras since I 1st saw 1 at 5yrs old. 41 years later, & I'm still no closer to owning 1😭
Closest I got was early production pantera 4 bolt main pantera block in my 72 stang....😢
The sheer width of the Pantera's track is just insane
it's barely 31 mm wider than an early , narrowbody 911..
It is low.. not all that wide.. definately not compared to modern day cars.
This one's been widened. The wheel arches were not that wide in these years.
@@stijnvandamme76Yet looks cooler than modern cars I'll say that much. The Pantera was a force to be reckoned with either way.
One of the coolest cars ever.
When you show up in this, everybody shuts up. They're finished talking about their cars.
That just sounds.......the way it should!
This car and the 06 Ford GT are my car dreams.
Love that rumble!
What a beast! They don’t do brute force magnificent cars like these anymore!
Those rear tyres make the Countach's look like pram-wheels 😂😂
Perfect sound and a fantastic car. Love these. Jack, you are a very lucky guy...I envy you.
Keep up the good work 👏
Beautiful all round!!
Man that thing sounds BOSS!🙆♂️🙋♂️
Oh boy!!!!! DeTomaso Pantera! A slightly forgotten legend
Need a word much smaller than slightly because most people i ever have known or met know exactly what they are
Best design ever inthe history of car kind.
It's up at the top for certain

Orville Redenbacher is smiling up in heaven at that exhaust sound.
Im in love with your car
Never f*ck with old gangsters that still know how to put the business down--where the rubber meets the road.
The size of them rear tyres !

Might be the peak of high performance for Ford Manufactured cars. long before the influence of Japaneese tech.
71' 351.
Best car ever made. Those 8 cylinders sound like 12. Beautiful
Beautiful car
Always loved the pantera
Looks better than any new supercar
Only muscle car, and best sports car, to ever come out of Italy.
This is my favorite car. Too many headaches to own one tho.
Ah, the "thinking man's muscle car" when it was available in the States.
Excudes power! ❤

They can move under their own power, not seen one do that before.
I miss my Pantera 😢😢😢😢😢

I thought the Pantera was not in Australia but they are l was watching another you tube video on a Ford car show and there were a couple of them
I was hoping for a full launch !!! The GT5S in red was my favourite poster 🤩🤩🤩
Been in that very car - awesome experience!!
My first ticket at 15 yrs old was in a Pantera! Lots of fun it had a certain hum to it and I always knew when the old man was coming around the corner!😊
That white paint will keep the new owner cool in the Australian heat.
Those rims are dope as F!!!
Now what a car muscle classic
I remember the first time I saw one of these in Cincinnati, Ohio; in yellow!

Italian beauty, American heart❤

God damn! That's so good.
My dad also have a white/black 72 detamaso Pantera. Bad ass cars
Nice! Car.
De Tomaso Pantera
How it puts it to the road?
It don't 😂
I've only ever seen one on the road like 15 years ago, was like WTF is that its so wide and low, fat ass tires. Was black.
Is this your new daily jack?!!!
Didn't come with no 600 horsepower. Love those cars though
My dream
