Love the drone footage and it gives the garden perspective as you talk. Glad it’s all coming along better now. Gardeners are never happy 😃 it’s toooo hot here, 33c as I type at 1:30pm. Makes getting outside difficult but I can water and potter about after dinner. Have a super week, Ali 🌞🥵🫠🇨🇦
Thanks Ali. I love the perspective the drone gives of the allotment, the site itself and surrounding areas. I’d like to use it more often but need the right conditions for flying 🌧️🌧️🌧️ 33c is a bit too toasty for me 😂. I dread to think how hot a greenhouse or polytunnel gets in that heat 👍🌱👍
Thanks 😋 The drone sure helps to give a different perspective on things and show the allotments and surrounding area. Would like to use it more but need better weather 🌧️🌧️🌧️
Snap with the drone footage - although I'm very impressed you've managed to do your own. I only tried once and it disappeared never to be seen again! Great to see the plot from a different perspective!
Thanks Jane. The drone sure helps give people a different perspective on the allotments and surrounding area. Would like to use it more but need better weather for that 🌧️🌧️🌧️. Just caught up on yours (all the way from Budapest) and loved seeing things from above 👍🌱👍
Thanks Pauline. The comfrey seems to work wonders for attracting the bees. I’ve seen quite a few folk saying there seems to be a lack of bees and butterflies about this year. Wonder if the cooler, wetter weather we’ve had is causing problems 👍🌱👍
A nice July tour Mark, the drone was footage was a nice surprise, great seeing the plot from above, I think the garlic hasn't split this year as its never been a cold winter, take care... Steve
Thanks Steve. Always think the drone helps to give a different perspective on how things look. Would like to use it more often but need the right conditions 🌧️🌧️🌧️ Think I’ll be pulling the garlic up next week. I’ve had a quick poke about in the soil and it’s not looking great 👍🌱👍
Hi Mark, a lovely plot tour, its looking really good. It has been a strange season this year. I've struggled with germinating sweetcorn, never happened before. So had to go to garden centre to buy some 🙄 sweetpeas have bern awful too,,two sowing, planted out then munched. Only one sunflower survived. So will be waiting much later to plant out my seedlings next season. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Thanks Christine. It’s been a funny old year for getting things going. Think I might be paying a visit to the garden centre soon as well to get some plants and fill the beds up 👍🌱👍
Hi Mark. Plot looking good. Stuff in the polytunnel coming on well. I just noticed blight on some of my potatoes so keep your eye out. Loads of muggy weather in June definitely didn’t help 🥺. Have a great week. Mags
Hi Mark - thanks for the look-about / update which is of particular interest to myself as you're the UA-cam poster nearest to myself up here in Stonehaven, so you have similar weather and provide a good comparison to how my garden / plot and produce is doing - the posters down South are in tropical climes compared to ourselves 😂. P.S. Like myself, I see you've got cucumber mosaic virus on your courgettes i.e. yellow mosaic pattern on normally green leaves - no cure of course, plants are weakened with smaller and fewer courgettes than you would otherwise get ☹ but all still edible 🙂
Hi Ian, I seem to get that problem on the courgettes every year. I normally only do 2 plants each year but have doubled up to 4 this time round which will hopefully give me plenty to pick. 👍🌱👍 Hope all is well up there in Stonehaven 🏴
Aye but like yourself a terrible growing year for most sun / heat seeking produce - the weeds though, have been and still are, unbelievable - a lovely sunny day here today with high white cirrus clouds, it won't last though, never does 😂
I've just been up to water and the squash are still looking terrible. Weather is still a little dodgy here. Highs of 20c during the day but dropping down to single figures over night. Here's hoping next year is better 👍🌱👍

I like the different camera angles, close and drone, makes it easier to see the big picture.
Thank you for the Tour de Plot
Thanks 😋

Would like to use it more but need better weather 🌧️🌧️🌧️
I love to look back on my tours to see the difference a few months make Mark.
♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
That’s a great idea Terry. Think I might have to go back and take a look at some old vids 👍🌱👍
that cucumber reveal cracked me up 'oooo look at that ' 🤣
😂😂😂😂
Love the drone footage...a whole new perspective 👌
Thanks. Not often the weather is good enough to get the drone off the ground 🌧️🌧️
Great tour Mark! Love the drone shots to show where you are on the plot. Take care and have a great week!
Thanks 🙂
Nice to have the weather to get the drone off the ground 😂

Uh oh that’s not good on the potato front. It’s been a funny old year with the dodgy weather and now things like blight popping up. 👍🌱👍
Looking good ❤. Jo Devon 🙂

My squash have been useless this year... it's just a joke it really is! It's been such a hard year
I've just been up to water and the squash are still looking terrible.
