Teach me how to do all this lol. I’ve only ever soldered switches onto a keyboard pcb but it was very fun to do. Really want to learn this type of work to be able to repair or upgrade my own things
Thank you for the great video. Good to know what can go wrong with the RX 6700 XT i own. I overclocked and vmoded GPU's in the mid 2000s, to get better performance out of the FX 5200 and later the GF 6800 nu. Back then it made a big difference in gaming performance. And have fun playing Insurgency Sandstorm. It is one of my favorite games.
Have the same card. All voltages present, card is detected but no display. Checked the gate shown here and have 3.3v output. Not sure what else it could be.
This could be memory errors. If the card is detected and it shows in device manager when booted through the internal display then it's likely memory errors. Watch the video linked below. 👇 ua-cam.com/video/LBvRpAGLjFw/v-deo.html
My red devil 6700xt is like this too same symptoms in the vid.but the tech said maybe it was the vram or chip .should i do this repair like in the video ? Thanks
In AMD cards the symptoms may look similar but the cause may be something else. But yes I would recommend you give the steps in this video a try. There is a possibility it's the same cause.
No I have not tried the 24gbps GDDR6 on it. The memory timings will need an edit. GDDR6X memory will not work on GDDR6 slot. Data line pads are located in different positions.
I have one sapphire 6700xt has gpu clock locked at ~ 500mhz. The card has been repaired before. Three days working on it but not find solution. Do you have any advice ?
Locked at 500 can have a very wide range of issues. Difficult to pin point. Thermal, power draw, PCIE, BIOS, core etc. can you check resistances on all points and mention them here. Also voltages. Also flash the BIOS from techpowerup and mention here.
Check smith trigger or And Gate. Most of AMD cards have a trend of blowing And Gate or smith triggers on pex reset. This is 7th AMD back to back which had all voltages present had this gate or smith trigger blown.
Yes same one in the video. The GPU before this I thought it was the core. Then when I tested the gate. This was the issue. This card in this video was then a walk in the park. Different users similar issue.
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql Just replaced that end gate, but it did nothing. I'm afraid the issue with this brick is something else. Still can't figure it out 🫤. Thanks any way for the tip!
Really curious what happened with that 3070 VRAM X2 project!
Part 2 will be coming soon. It's just that I got tied up with the large repair queue.
Hey bro keep uploading We really appreciate your work
Thank you 😁

hello freiza can you make videos about the basics of GPU repair? how they work and their voltages?
Sure I will.

3090/80 ti vram (21gbps) to say a 3070?

Can you make a video on rtx 4060 memory upgrade it has only 8GB Vram
Unfortunately none of the 40 series can be upgraded further as they all use 2GB memory modules which is the largest capacity produced.
Bro where do you live in case i want to repair a gpu from you?
Dubai UAE. The link to book your repair is in the description of the video. 😊
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql 😓I am in India..I wanted to upgrade vram on my GPU...😓😓😓but I can't .. because you are too far,😭😭😭

I have the same card here, and I can not figure out what is wrong with it. All voltages are there. Might be a dead core.

@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql I will take a look at that end gate. Same one you replaced in the video. Thanks for thr tip my brother!
