How many people realize that this woman's advice is helping many poor and impoverished Americans who otherwise have limited to no access to dental healthcare and/or lack sufficient health insurance to address some of their most basic dental needs (exacerbated by the general factors of poverty) in the face of the current "for profit" oral healthcare system in one of the richest countries in the world?

I really wish I had found you sooner. Even though I was brushing and flossing daily, I had receding gums and cavities at every dental cleaning. I estimate that the number of cavities I've received over the years is in the dozens and I am only 33. The dentist wanted to have me come in for "deep cleanings" $400 a time, 4x a year. I also need 2-3 crowns. Of course none of this is covered by my insurance. I frankly could not afford this extra work. I discovered the Complete Mouth Care System back in January and decided to give it a try - Holy smokes, my mouth has never been healthier; My gums have healed and are now healthy pink. They almost look fake! I used to feel a low-grade burning beneath the surface and that is now gone! My teeth are whiter/brighter and no longer sensitive. Thank you so much for empowering people to take their dental health out of the hands of greedy dentists!

@@dr.elliephillips I definitely had real peridontal gum disease when I realized from reading your videos the 6, 7s and 8s they were yelling out at cleanings, 2 years ago I got a real good deep cleaning with local anesthia , a year half later I got the worse almost infection like sensitivity on one of my back molars where I could not bite hard on that molar without feeling pain or feeling like it may be lose if I did and bit my usual cold hard dark Dove chocolates on other side of mouth so I knew something was up with that molar and gum recession as I could tell it was receding myself, well I finally went to the dentist and they took X rays and gave me a regular not deep clean and referred me to a preidontist , and said well you have badly receding upper gum back molars from the X rays , I cancelled my peridontal appt as I knew it was one of those corporate for profit chains that would obviously say deep clean , then laser treatment on gums to heal faster after a deep clean first etc ( just a money maker for them only iMHO and not necessary ) and even worst gum sugery recommendation was my expectation they would make up to again make more money off you for unnecessary work IMHO of course I decided no - thats when I bumped into your videos, so I am now on Xylitol mints, Cioysis , Act , Original Listerine , gum massage vs just brushing, and had used perio care 1.7% hydorgen peroxide with self molded gum trays to work those molars, never had a cavity in my life but never brushing right , not flossing and water flossing and not knowing about PH gave me these deep pockets and not having dental care until I was essentially 25 years old and the first dental cleaning I went to the dentist looked horrified and took several cleaning to me on track. but not knowing how to brush massage gums and PH for the next 40 year left me with these deep pockets , I can bite and eat cold dark dove chocolates again , and my gums are all pale pink and when I water floss there is no sensitivity anymore , I only plan on seeing my dentist once a year since my HMO Medicare dental coverage is bad , so I now after reading your article I want to add the probiotics - ie is Garden of Life, RAW Probiotics, Colon Care, 30 Vegetarian Capsules -is that the probiotics you were referring to ( what ingredients in the probiotics is the key vs just the brand or is Garden of Life just one of the many as long as its a digestive colon Probiotics ?) ???? for added PH oral fight to make sure my deep pockets keep getting better so I can avoid both deep cleaning and the peridontists specialist that will I am sure recommended un-neeeded services for their for profit corporate practice of medicine money greed offices that will force their staff to do un-necessary services as they always will do IMHO
OK I just figured out the right probiotic to take ie Lactobacillus Reuteri Probiotic Supplements - to target specifically the gum issues only vs all other digestive issues since the Garden of LIfe covers a whole range of digestive and colon issues that I dont need or want to spend extra for

I grew up in the Appalachian mountains. I had never heard of a toothbrush, toothpaste,or mouthwash. Until I got to Middle School 6th gradei was 11 years old .the first time I stayed the night away from the farm with a friend from school.. before we went to bed his mom came in the bedroom and asked her son if he had brushed his teeth he told her no. She asked me if I brought my toothbrush with me I replied why would you use a brush on your teeth... At the time my life experience I had only seen a brush used to comb hair, and to brush down are work horses after we would work them in the fields to get rid of ticks fleas and fly larvae. Mom and dad had perfect white teeth just like me dad chewed Redman tobacco a pouch a day mom smoked a pack of cigarettes a day.. they never had any issues with any of their teeth. I truly believed the reason for that. We did not have running water or electricity. We got our water from a mountain spring. We raise or hunted the meat that we ate and we grew the vegetables that we consumed. We bartered or sold pork and beef, corn, beans, potatoes, apples, and cherries, once a month dad would travel an hour and a half to go into the town in either barter or buy the basic needs that you cannot provide off the land toilet paper, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea bags but once I started going to the public schools drinking City water eating school lunches I started getting cavities... And when I left home and moved to the big city to go to college... My teeth got worse from all the sugar and all the toxic chemicals that they put in are drink's in are tap water and the food either from fast food restaurants or your local grocery store..

Dr Ellie, just wanted to shoot you a thank you. I'm 42 and have not taken the best care of my teeth over the years. I started your program last December, and was definitely not 100% adherent but did my best to do the full system and regularly use xylitol mints (I've done the full thing most days, and consistently used dental mints perhaps 60% of that time). Even with the imperfect use, my teeth have far less plaque, it accumulates far more slowly and possibly not at all when regularly using the xylitol mints, and several gum pockets have improved. Including one in my lower gums in the front that I thought was potentially deep enough to require a periodontist. I simply looked at it in early summer and noticed that it had recovered from recessed below the tooth line to almost its original position. To listen to many dentists I would have thought that level of regrowth and recovery wasn't possible, but here I am.
To anyone considering her program: I can't say for sure it will work for you but it's worth a shot for a few months.

So I currently have a healing sore on my gum as you posted on this video. It looks just like that sore in the featured pic for this video. My last dentist appt was August 8th 2024 and that’s when I was told I had pockets measured at #12 on my lower left. I received a deep cleaning on my upper right side only that same day. I then scheduled another appointment for my lower bottom deep cleaning. I never went for the bottom deep cleaning. It seems after they poked around my gums, it inflamed my pocket more and irritated my guns, which was not happening before. I started getting a massive pain on my lower left and a sore developed. I was about to schedule an appointment just to address that issue. Then I saw your complete care video. I bought everything. It’s literally been one week since I started your complete mouth care system. Brushing with the tooth brush you recommended in circles massaging was painful on the sore in the beginning. But I kept doing it and rinsing with the three mouth wash you recommended. You won’t believe how the pain is gone, the little bump was full of puss, it’s been coming out slowly since I started. The sore/bump has shrunk almost completely now. My gums are healing at a good rate. I can literally feel the difference within one week. I can just imagine how much the healing process will have advanced within the next 3 months. I am so excited for the results I have experienced so far. Such a substantial change is going on with me right now. I will follow up with you after my next dental appointment. Thank you from my ❤. It’s a blessing to have you giving this information to us. The mints and xylitol gum should be safe so long as you didn't eat too many in a day. But it's something to be mindful of and I admit it's made me careful not to ingest too much.

I have had my share of dental work done during my lifetime. Braces as a kid, oral surgery to have 4 impacted wisdom teeth extracted on 1 visit, cleanings, some fillings, and 4 crowns (but no root canals) for teeth that broke. I have repeatedly been told I have good oral hygiene and "beautiful teeth," yet I was both surprised and dismayed to recently learn I have some deep pockets (including some bone loss) around the back molars. 😲 How I got to this point is confusing to me. Oddly enough, I've never had pre-periodontitis symptoms like gingivitis, no bleeding or receding gums. Occasionally I have had some mild sensitivity to cold in the front teeth (where the gums are "normal") but it has never been chronic.
Before discovering Dr. Ellie and her Complete Mouth Care System, I had a deep cleaning (upper and lower) on the right side in early July to address these deep pockets. Again, I am no wimp when it comes to pain or dental work but let me just say the deep cleaning was BRUTAL. Not only was the actual procedure awful to the point I had a death grip on the arms of the dental chair for 1 1/2 hours, that side of my mouth has NOT been happy (or normal feeling) since. My cheek and gums were sore for days after the hygienist stabbed me 4 or 5 times with a needle to make the area numb before the cleaning. (She definitely needs to improve her injection skills!) About a week after the deep cleaning, I developed an abscess so the periodontist put me on an antibiotic for a week. I have constantly felt like I have food stuck between my teeth (even when I don't), but the weirdest thing is my bite often feels "off" on that side.
During that week I was on the antibiotic for the abscess, I stumbled upon Dr. Ellie's YT channel, binge-watched the majority of her videos, and started her protocol immediately. I've been on it 5 1/2 weeks now, religiously using it 2 x day in conjunction with xylitol and, finally, the side of my mouth that had the deep cleaning is starting to feel more normal. The periodontist, the hygienist and even the front office receptionist were all pushing HARD for me to have the deep cleaning done on the other side of my mouth ASAP, like it was some kind of major emergency, but I cancelled the appointment and I am undecided if I will ever reschedule it. I want to try a solid 3 to 6 months on Dr. Ellie's system before I make a final decision but I'm leaning toward kissing the periodontist and his hygienist goodbye forever!
Also, prior to the deep cleaning, I occasionally had a sharp pain in one back tooth when I chewed. One dentist said I had a crack down into the root and the tooth needed to be pulled and a bridge made ($5,000.00). Three other dentists I subsequently consulted for their opinions did NOT see a crack but essentially shrugged their shoulders and said they had no explanation for the pain. I scheduled an appointment with a highly regarded endodontist in an adjacent city to see if the tooth needed a root canal but I decided to give Dr. Ellie's system some time so I cancelled the appointment. Since starting Dr. Ellie's Complete Mouth Care System and regular xylitol, the tooth seems much improved and although I haven't been brave enough to try chewing anything hard on that side yet, I can chew soft things so I'm optimistic the problem (whatever it is) is resolving on Dr. Ellie's system.

@@Tyla473 Thanks for asking! I waited to answer your question because I had an upcoming appointment with the periodontist's office to finish the deep cleaning I started back in July. If I returned for the deep cleaning on the opposite side at all, I would have preferred to wait until I had been using Dr. Ellie’s Complete Mouth Care System least six months. However, I still had dental benefits left for 2024 that would pay for the cleaning now but if I waited, my dental benefits for 2025 are being drastically reduced. So, it was a case of either finish the cleaning now ... or probably never.
As a reminder, I had the deep cleaning on the upper and lower right side July 9 (2024). My appointment for the upper and lower left side was yesterday, Dec. 2, which was just about 4 1/2 months after starting the CMCS on July 24 (2024).
While I felt like my teeth and gums are in better shape since starting the Complete Mouth Care System, I was curious if a dental professional could see actual evidence of that. It should be noted I did not tell the hygienist I have been using xylitol the CMCS since right after my visit in July because I did not want her to be swayed one way or another. She indicated the (right) side she did the deep cleaning on in July looked really good. Probably the most significant thing she said was there was little to no bleeding of the gums while she was cleaning this time. This cleaning on the left side took slightly less time and it seemed she did not get as aggressive as she had in July when she cleaned the right side. While it wasn’t what I would describe as “fun,” it certainly was not nearly as bad as the July visit. Twenty-four hours post cleaning the left side, my gums feel perfectly normal (not even a little bit sore or swollen) whereas in July, my gums on the right side felt tender for days afterwards and my bite felt “off” for many weeks. I am also not having the sensation I have food constantly stuck between my teeth this time. I don't know if there has been any improvement in the depths of the gum pockets because they were not measured at yesterday's visit. I may schedule an appointment with my regular dentist sometime in 2025 just to have him check the pockets. Or, maybe not. 😉
In summary, I am a believer in Dr. Ellie’s Complete Mouth Care System. I do think religiously using all the products she recommends 2 x per day (Closys, Crest, Listerine, ACT, Dr. Plotka’s toothbrushes) have improved my mouth health. This seems to be substantiated by the comments the hygienist made and the way my mouth feels. I will say that I do not always get the recommended 6 to 10 grams of xylitol every day because I have drastically limited my snacking and sipping liquids throughout the day (and in the process I have lost 5 pounds, which is another added benefit!). I also use xylitol every day but some days I might only get in 3 or 4 grams so I want to make an effort to be more diligent in using it more often, even if I have not had anything to eat or drink. I am committed to using Dr. Ellie’s Complete Mouth Care System (and xylitol) for the rest of my life.
How is your Complete Mouth Care System journey going?

Thank you for explaining these periodontal pockets. My mother's dentist says she has them and pushes for a very expensive procedures and even takes about bone grafting those this might be something else mixed in for that. This gives both information and hope for her situation.
I recently read a study that compared common mouthwash and care products and included some unusual and natural alternatives. One of the things they found in the study was swishing kefir (I assume milk) out performed everything else and was doing better than the mouthwashes. I know kefir milk has hundreds of good bacteria and yeasts and is beneficial to the gut. Apparently the bacteria and yeasts take over and crows the opportunistic bacteria out but don't attack the teeth and gums.
Have you heard anything about this? What is your take on this and would it be worth combining with your current healthcare approach. If so, when would you use the kefir before or after xyitol? They didn't mention if you swallow it or spit it out like mouthwash either. Also is oil pulling method a hoax? I did notice a reduction of inflammation when I tried it for a week but I'm not sure if it was doing anything for the teeth.
Also you mentioned when using the xyitol approach that you don't even drink water but how does it affect those suffering from dry mouth syndrome. Would small sips of water be beneficial in this case since dry method would limit saliva during this period.
I may have missed this but do you also explain and have a remedy for soft teeth? My family all have soft teeth According to a number of dentists and this Apparently make us more prone to develop dental problems Apparently the enamel is easier to penetrative. Is the anything that we should be considering to compensate for this?
Myself, I have a separate condition called gastroparesis and unfortunately almost all the enamel on my teeth are gone from the frequent vomiting and I am struggling to retain what teeth I have left for as long as possible. Is there something else I can do in this situation as well as the you care routine I have been attempting to implement?

Yesterday, I visited a different dentist, and she said that according to the X-ray, there was no infection, but X-rays don't capture everything. I dont really measure the amount of either. I use enough castor oil for the typical amount to oil pull or swish with. I add frankincense oil from a dropper. Maybe a half dropper. Then oil pull for just a few minutes to 5 min. From what I have read its not necessary to go for as long as coconut oil because the castor oil works more quickly. The frankencense works to kill oral bacteria.

Dr. Ellie I have been using your system and my gums are looking uniformly better. I have some pocketing and what I have noticed is my gums as they look healthier have shrunk up a bit as they have healed creating spaces between teeth. Is the normal part of healing gum tissue ? Do you think the gums will fill in over time ? Thank you so much I have sent your mouth care system to friends and family ! Also can we chew xylitol gum after AM cleaning ? 😊

    • @Kristina-yr6xg
      @Kristina-yr6xg 4 місяці тому +3

Yes, as the gums healed, they shrunk up, receded more, because they were no more puffy...I am at 4 months and the Black triangles filled up mostly and gums are growing. The gums growth I first started noticing between the gums, I have still major receded gums at my upper front left three teeths with Black triangles and lower front teeth inside and two front teeth outside, which are going from a u-shape much more to a V-shaped, so here again gum is growing from between the teeth to the teeth..

Unfortunately, my dentist in the UK automatically suggests a deep clean regardless, as though its a normal routine thing....obviously its all about more money for them rather than whats best for the patient...
Ive been doing the mouth care system for almost a year now, and very happy with the results...no more bleeding or aches and teeth feel stronger.
Just very dissapointed when going to dentist as they never say how much healthier my teeth and gums are and like i said they still recommend a deep clean!!!..... ffs!.....(i always refuse by the way, and they look confused and cant understand why i dont want it done)

Instead of an antibiotic, I would highly recommend considering Nano Spray by Silver Fern Brand. “Nano Spray contains frequency activated nano Ag4O4 (purified silver). This ingredient helps to break down the bad actors in the microbiome that may cause problems.” It specifically targets disease-causing microbes and leaves the good ones alone. For that reason, it is also probiotic-friendly. And just like their Nano Scrub product for oral and gut health, it “has a super charged oxide coating that provides ongoing strike actions. These ongoing strike actions provide rapid disassembling of harmful invaders and makes Nano Scrub much more effective at a much smaller dose. The reduced dosage of highly activated silver is incredibly effective while removing concerns of toxicity.”

I have problems every year at this time (damp autumnal weather here in Scotland) and I usually end up with sinus infections and/or tooth pain. I was interested to hear the connection between the two and it explained a lot. I hate having to take antibiotics but sometimes the infections take so long to go and I’m in such pain that I am forced to take them. I’ll have a go with Xylotol when I next experience gum inflammation and nasal blockages.

I'm glad I ran into this video. I have been diagnosed for sometime with Periodontal. I have been back and forth to one and been to a few different dentists. I am 52. I have always brushed and been particular with my hygiene. Maybe I wasn't brushing well or too hard possibly. I have no teeth that are DEAD. The dentist is trying to extract my lower back teeth and my upper right. I chew just fine. No pain. I do have gum recessions though. I don't want to extract my few teeth just to do it. They claim I have bone loss, shows in XRays. They say it will take six months to heal from an extracted tooth and then I can get a permanent implant. Please input and advise.

Hello! I appreciate all the amazing information. I was wondering if we could be more informed on the topic of using Listerine mouth wash. Does it throw off your gut health because it kills the ecosystem of good and bad bacteria in your mouth. I know your mouth wash system is good for your teeth, but does it come with a risk. I'm curious if it were to be a life long habit. Thank you so much!

Hi Doctor Ellie, my dentist has told me I have gum pockets and I’m at high risk of losing my teeth and need deep cleaning. I’m absolutely terrified of losing my teeth!! I have another dentist appointment on Wednesday. I’ve been taking extra care of my teeth since the last appointment, including chewing xylitol gum after every meal. My teeth are not loose right now, but I’m worried that will happen and I’ll lose all my teeth. What should I do?

A deep cleaning is not an emergency so don't let the dentist's scare tactics make you think all your teeth are going to fall out next week if you don't do this immediately. Get ALL the specific products Dr. Ellie recommends for the Complete Mouth Care System (Closys, Crest, Listerine, ACT, and Dr. Plokta's toothbrushes--1 for AM/1 for PM) and use them 2 x day, every day, without fail. Use the recommended 6 to 10 grams of xylitol gum or mints daily after eating or drinking anything, even water. Knowledge is power so watch as many of Dr. Ellie's videos as possible to educate yourself on how you can improve your oral health and help turn this situation around. She says follow her COMPLETE system DILIGENTLY for at least 4 to 6 months and then have your dentist re-evaluate your gum pockets. Chances are, your oral health will be improved but even if you still need the deep cleaning, do it and then commit to continue to use the Complete Mouth Care System for life. It works.
