The Bob Ross of programming. I love his YT shorts
this comment deserves to get a PIN OF HONOR
Love it hahaha
Disagree, but his content is good
I actually had been watching his shorts out of nowhere in the last few weeks, and I just started coding for fun again, working on a discord bot. I hadn't made the connection but I'm pretty sure he motivated me to start working on personal projects again.
@@user-vi4zw6zu4cwho else would qualify as the Bob Ross of programming? I'm not asking from an ignorant place either, software and development is basically all I watch on twitch, Thor clears in terms of Bob-Ross-Ness.
There's no wind indoors.
His hair just does that because he's Thor, god of thunder and Lord of the Goblins
Indeed
He should put it in a tail.
@@reneheijnen6288he would be too powerful
L'Oréal should sponsor him
🤣🤣
Seeing him in a suit is a unsettling, it feels wrong and unnatural.🤣
I have only seen some YT shorts about him dropping cool developer and coding knowledge, but I think he looks really snazzy in that suit.
Crazy to think that he probably used to wear a suit every day when we worked for the DoE
He looks great what do you mean?
@@bayjay864 that hes used to his fav streamer in what he usually wears, its like if asmon were to get all dressed up, pirates not anywhere near as bad of a case but a decent example
The suit is to hide all the wires and pneumatic pistons that bring the automaton to life. Unlike on stream where a simple flesh avatar can be used to put the audience at ease and convince you he's a real person.
😉
looking sharp. so he HAS a body. and legs.
still no confirmation of legs in this vid.
I'm still not convinced
and no voice changer!
still might just be ferrets in the robotic suit with a human head
@@ejmatchin: Yes. This makes the most sense.
😋
This guy will be responsible for the huge boost of the next generation of software devs and IT in general. Thor's a Legend already
Guy just fucking came out of nowhere and whenever I see one of his clips it's like, yeah that guy is cool/smart/funny... like how?
Apparently he figured out how to beat the algorithm lol@@Asharon
@@BullsMahunny He actually has a short where he talks about how he gets his shorts to a wider audience.
Indeed, I just got into game development because of him :D
Thats awesome dude. Im in Cybersecurity and its sweet to see more people getting into Tech @@teaser6089
This guy is one of the reasons I found the courage to go back into working in programming
He's the reason I started. He's amazing
YES CONGRATS!! Have fun out there and best of luck to you!
Same. I use to love making games but I gave up. Now I'm doing it again and having fun again.
This guy inspired me to try programming 😊
admitting you were afraid of programming is wild
You can physically see his body rejecting the suit like a botched organ transplant.
It’s a little big on him methinks, like a half size too large or something. Like if he weighed ten pounds more it’d fit better
I doubt he cares about having a suit personally tailored to him tho lmao
Technically, any organ transplant is botched by default because the host body is constantly trying to get rid of the organ since it considers it a foreign object and you have to take medication for life which makes your body weaker to force it to accept the transplant. The more you know.
what a weird, cruel, dehumanizing metaphor
@@jac1011but completely accurate
Larger suits r much more comfy and if u gain another 10+ pounds it still fits
As often as Thor needed to, he must have felt the cool wind in his hair.
Maybe even on a dark desert highway
The jiggle physics on the hair are crazy☠️
@@TheS1lverBulletPerhaps accompanied by the warm smell of colitas? Rising up through the air, even 🤔
@@Neobot21 It's probably out of view but up ahead in the distance, there could be a shimmering light 🤷♂
Gald to see that Shae rendered the suit and body for the event. No confirmation of legs here tho. 🤣
I choked on AIR!
Dude pulled off the suit really well. Black and red is top tier. Almost as good as the red carpet wizard robe.
I assume you probably don't like Derek Guy.

IT IS FREE. GO BUY IT
@@Al_KR_t WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S FREE? I'VE SPENT OVER $500 FROM BUYING THE DEMO AGAIN WHEN THE TIME RUNS OUT
Us Goblins always will.
Buy the demo at full price too
@raynjpg are you a unity dev?
Thor could read War and Peace and everyone would listen and learn from him.
He's just such a sage of advice and breaks it down to base components of language for even the most beginner to understand.
We could all be more like Thor in life.
I would absolutely listen to audio books if they were read by Thor. I wouldn't even care what genre they were.
His voice is like therapy. Educational therapy.
Damn they even gave him a voicechanger at the interviews! We will catch you one day Thor!
I am going to ignore the joke and be serious. I was thinking his voice seems higher/less rich here. I think the range of his streaming mic must be doing a lot of the work. I find something similar with myself, cellphone/webcam mics I find my voice to be kind of thin and annoying, but if I use my Yeti and it is much more full and deep.
@@itmanjames not necessarily. When people under pressure/stress, their voice tend to be higher. My first public performances in front of the audience I sounded like i was in my teens, but later with confidence on later speeches my voice dropped down to like 50% Batman, lol.
@@DrFrankenStain You may be correct. I didn't say it was definitely the case, just my thoughts. Perhaps it is due to the fact that he is The Goblin Lord and loves to troll so he intentionally spoke higher.
@@itmanjames I think he just has a high vocal range. Some days it's more comfortable to speak low, some days higher. Just how your vocal cords are feeling that day
@@itmanjames Just the proximity effect. The closer you are to your mic, the more "bassy" it'll sound. He probably has a compressor on his audio chain as well.
his hair is astounding. love this man and his content
As a Goblin I was happy to see Pirate out at the awards :D
Not a cross over I thought I would see
Thor is great. He's such a genuine dude.
man i wanna upvote but i can't...
@@skoapiee just upvote
@@ChaosEater39 the likes were on 69
@@skoapiee sure but just upvote
Love this guy, he’s so eloquent!
i just love Emilys energy man. and pirate is such a great guy!
Seems to be heavily inspired by Nardwuar
He's such a breath of fresh air in a negative world. An inspiration
Bro is amazing. Needs a better Hair Consultant next time so his face is visible in interviews LOL
Ah man, he was excited to meet her, but she just called him "Pirate" instead of "Thor"
Media engagement purposes, probably
@@diegovalenzuela637 That actually makes a whole lot of sense. Thanks for being rational.
this guy is a beacon of positivity, I love him so much.
its funny because Ive never actually watched his stream, but I've seen a ton of his shorts. love him
I don't think I've watched a more wholesome streamer. Every question this guy gets he answers in depth and with care
Never heard of him, but I'll give his stuff a watch. Making a game is still one of the things on my bucket list.
Oh you're gonna love this dude.
You're gonna be one of us goblins.
You'll love him. Such a wholesome and supportive individual. Twitch need more like him!
He’s so supportive of everyone on his streams too. Even if it’s fake his personality is so thoughtful and catchy. He makes everyone believe they can do anything!
Oh, and the “gamer” from South Park is based off his dad. Funny stuff.
His streams and shorts make you want to make and play games. Overall, a very technically minded individual who’s spent a good amount of his life in different careers. Dept of energy, network admin for Amazon AWS, blizzard, etc.
Better start now if you can. its gonna be a long journey
@@Minnieal28often times people can actually do gret things it more depends on how dedicated they r
One of the few streamsrs im genuinely excited to see succeeding. Way to go
Her bubbly personality just makes me smile, infectious positivity!
This man made me try programming and even though its not something i stuck with, his videos where he's motivating to try it made me decide to become a content creator. love this dude.
Emily actually has some pretty great interview skills.
Emily is so wholesome to the point where it's hilarious the delicious and nutritious ham sandwich xD
Love this man! He’s helped encourage me in multiple ways!
Hes awesome, such a great personality.
The Goblin King is: outside, standing, and in a suit. I don’t know which of these things is making me the most uncomfortable.
It feels weird seeing him standing
sheiit, never noticed his beautiful hair
I love that Steamers are getting a red carpet experience like this. They deserve it!
Emily: "Here's the mic"
Thor: "Thanks, so"
Emily: "LOL just kidding, get rekd"
Did not think his hair was THAT luxurious like wtf
now we know this was a meeting of the two smartest people on twitch
This guys insight is amazing and I love it
My man has the evil villian suit, red and black, perfectly on brand.
This makes me happy just watching it. Precious goblin lord must be protected.
Just discovered his stream recently, he is so well spoken!
He’s so majestic
This is so weirdly wholesome and I love it
he has quite actually given me the confidence to build a game. Im working on it with my little brother, and we are basing it off our cultural "lore" as a story/horror game. we are just starting on it, nothing on the computer yet, just storyboarding and plotting characters on paper. Pirate really helped me to understand that i CAN do it, i just have to try! Also, hes looking DAPPER in that suit!
Omg he looks exactly like his dad 😮
This guy motivates me to act, I literally don't care about the fact that he talks about creating games, but what he says apart from that is top tier content. I love the guy
He looks extra majestic especially when he's walking to the stage
PirateSoftware is truly inspiring. I will never into game development but I love being a programmer.
I'm not gay, but I want to date both people in this vid.
🤣😂🤣
bi king
Bro looks good in a suit, nothing gay about that^^
Dude out here looking like John Romero. Regardless both are great inspirations in the game dev world.
the real award category he's competing for is Best Streamer Hair
I've never heard of her before, but she's freakin' adorable.
one of my favorute youtubers. funny, entertaining and educational
Y'all have some of the most experienced people out there streaming. You better go watch'em
I love this dude.
Bro is more majestic than i ever realised
she was very nervous
The struggle with his hair
he's so real. It's refreshing.
Great interview, gave me a smile
I'm excited that Thor simply knows who cardboard cowboy is. Wholesome as fuck.
man his hair is something else
Second John Romero
I was smiling throughout this whole video.
Two of the most positive people on the internet-- only one of them is mostly wholesome.
Thor came out of nowhere and took streaming by storm... Completely fucking deservedly I might add! This dude is a blessing to the masses.
As a 36 year old with no programming skills at all he convinced me to begin my GameDev journey and I am balls deep making my first game now with Godot Engine.
I just want him to know that when my game releases he will be heavily and whole-heartedly thanked as the reason my game exists. I hope it makes him proud how many people he has inspired.
He will b e getting a very deserved mention in the credits for inspiring my game's development.
AHHHH his voice without the boomy mic setup
This dude stream just chatting for HOURS nonstop, and he doesn't run out of content.
Thor is bigger than i thought
Thor is such a gem. Love this guy.
I'm genuinely curious who set up the robotics to make him look like he actually has a lower torso and legs, because they did a great job making it seem so natural.....
Love this man
i love thor what a great man
Stand up guy. Absolute Mensch. Genuinely who I would want my daughter to marry.
The absolute BOB ROSS of it
These two should stream them on a date.. it would be the funniest littlest more awkward interaction ever filmed.
He admitted to getting burgered for breakfast ! Love you Thor, greetings from the goblin chat.
his hair falling in his face every 15 seconds is funny
Damn, Emily has the energy of my whole friend list xD
He's such a dope dude +1
His hair looks great
my guy cleans TF up
Dudes a legend
His side eye at the end 😂 like what the hell was she yapping 😂 but totally sweet though. She was a bit rattled up an nervous 😊
Bro looking smooth and articulate.
I love this pirate dude i hope he starts a twitch channel
He's definetely one of the streamers
"Nice to meet you, Pirate" 😂
Absolute chad.
Omg this was so cute ahaha 💜
*R.I.P Headphone users*
I had PTSD flashbacks from the school hallway
She was gunning to pull the mic away any chance she got lolll
i still think he should of worn the red carpet wizard robe
Damn, she REALLY liked that mic
I love him
Notice how the person who did the sound tech on this clip, DIDNT TURN BASS UP TO 11?
such a great guy
He is so nice
