land rover products are totally great to drive , they look smart and really do have the right badge , right up to the point when the light comes up on the dash for a problem and your out of warranty .
Thankfully I've never got to that stage, I can only comment on the good sides from my experience, hence why I rate them so highly! Thanks for Watching!
@@CoffeeandCars. I hope it stays that way for you , I have seen what ingenium engines do to good decent folk who have spent their hard earned money buying them , land rover sales men know there are huge problems and still sell second hand evoques without a warranty to decent folk , I could weep when I see the fault codes that come with these ,,, dpf and a turbo and a cat is the norm these days , and if your unlucky it will take a set of chains too , thats about 8k or more mostly down to silly service intervals and bad design , anyone who owns an ingenium and isnt changing oil and filter at 6k miles needs telling , twice a year / 6k oil changes is a must for these ,,,, before anyone posts the I dont know what Im talking about , etc etc etc ............ I repair these for a living and trust me I do know.
Great and honest video. I have done nearly 10k in my Defender. 9th Land Rover and best car ever had. The 2 button press as you start the car becomes routine. Cannot fault mine at all
I love my Defender! It’s now 2 years old and it’s been a tremendous vehicle. I do miss the Range Rover series though for their outright plushness so I’ll be upgrading into a new Full Size Vogue upon delivery but I will absolutely miss my Defender!!!
There's a reason why many car companies (especially the Chinese) are influenced by this car's styling. It's gorgeous and symbolizes luxury, comfort, and robustness.
Done 10k in my 23 HSE X Dynamic with the full explorer pack in carpathian grey. We have the 22 inch wheels but it still has fantastic comfort. Love the clear view camera and the heads up display and the driving position. Few gripes are the reflection of the dashboard in the wing mirror at night, having to press a button before adjusting the fan blower and don’t find the seats really supportive on a long run. That said, it’s a fantastic car mated with a strong 300hp Diesel. Not sure about first oil change at 21k or 2 years though on a diesel. Seems a bit too long.
Yeah I do love the look of the 22s on the defender! Yeah I do agree on all the above! Yeah the engine is superb, for such a big heavy car it manages any task with ease! Great Cars! Enjoy
Just got mine, really happy with it! Few things that maybe you can shed some light on. Accelerating at high speed 80+ getting a slight vibration? Same wheels and tires as you. Slow speed slightly more of a choppy ride than expected, could this be tyre pressures? Finally a rushing air sound when the car is cold and fan speed low heat on high sounds coming from the back? Great video and think your spec is spot on👍
Hey buddy, thanks for watching! Yeah I get a similar thing at low speeds, I think that’s just the nature of the tyre set up compared to a more conventional setup. I’m not sure on the noise from the back on low fan speed, il keep an ear out for it over the next few days 👌🏻💯
Only had my 110 D300 for a month, it's a year old ex dealer demo, and driven it 5 days to South of Greece towing a 2.5 tonne dual axle trailer. Very impressive, pretty reasonable economy considering, just had a overheating problem with 3 miles to go. It got us there but then got towed 3 hours north to Athens. Hose has gone on the EGR unit and losing lots of coolant. LR have been helpful but 2 weeks to get a replacement part down here. Hopefully hasn't soured the love affair - will see when I get it back in 10 days.
Only thing about my Defender that annoys the shit out of me is the auto start stop and the air circulating button that you need to press every time you start the car. Boot space is a bit small also, but otherwise it is one of the best cars I ever owned.
Yeah there’s a few things that definetly should be more customisable when setting up a driver profile! Did you get the 110 or the 90? I find the 110 more than enough space, I suppose the 130 would be the next step up👍🏻
Depends on what you are after I suppose, the defender is certainly more luxurious than the discovery but I think the discovery is better for carrying 7 people, if the discovery is the one with the off centre reg plate then it’s worth every penny to change for my OCD 😂 both nice cars 👍🏻
Hey buddy, glad you are enjoying the videos! I actually got it done at Land Rover when we got it new, I think they had to order it in the usual grey colours and then powder coat when it arrived, glad I did though as I love the stealthy look👍🏻
Yeah I’ve done the same thing recently! You would think you could turn them all off when setting up a driver profile… maybe in a future update, thanks for watching 👍🏻

Love my Defender 3 and a bit years old now, 80,000 miles all good. Great thing to drive.
Great to hear buddy! Same here, fantastic machines 👌🏻

Yeah they really are great products! Yeah the two button press just becomes second nature! Thanks for watching

Yeah I totally agree buddy! They did such a good job revolutionising an iconic design 😍👍🏻

I’m sure once the part is fitted it will be absolutely fine! Glad to hear that it’s been used as it was designed to be! 💯

@ I have the 110. Actually, for me the space is ok, just my wife has an issue with the space🤪🤪🤪
What's the main difference between thus and a discovery I have a 2018 discovery but a defender is twice the price on a 2019

Hey, great videos! Is this the x-dynamic or S model with the front and back bumpers painted in gloss black?

Yeah I have a 24 year Defender and the bongs are a bit annoying. I set my custom preference so it’s only two presses of the button each time I start.
Yeah I’ve done the same thing recently! You would think you could turn them all off when setting up a driver profile… maybe in a future update, thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice work
Thanks buddy!
Insurance comparisons? Our Velar insurance has gone through the roof
Yeah our Insurance went up on the Range Rover Sport considerably, was one of the main reasons swapping to the defender as it’s much better👍🏻
Another top video mate. You’re videographer is banging 😜😂
Yeah he’s not bad… top work as always mate!👌🏻
Fantastic looking car , wouldn’t touch one with a barge poll 😂😂
How come?
10% talking about the car, 90% drone shots
Can you blame me with how good it looks in this scenery?😍
