Dr. Lori- You are the BEST!!!!! I just love watching your shows. I learned today some info about a painting I own. Now I am going to get an appraisal from you! I just need to take photos. Hugs to you and thanks!
I didn’t watch your video yet, and I really don’t like too many comments about the way the host looks, but I have to say, Dr. Lori, you look so nice wearing a shirt with a pattern on it! You are usually in solids, as I am, now you’ve inspired me to find a cute print to wear. Maybe I will look as bright and lively as you do! OK now I’m gonna watch the video! Thank you for all you do!
All I can say is WOW WOW 😮 & I want thank my dear father in Heaven for sharing my love of antiques with me. One of the best gifts my Dad taught me. Thank you Dr. Lori for all your wonderful help & videos ❤️
Was great meeting you on the call with my MIL about the Po Shun box! It was amazing to see the value of one of her thrift store finds. Many hours spent with a magnifying glass trying to identify the signature 😆
DOING???? Just do it. Slowly I'm learning what is value takes time but I have leaved so much and changed my game now to purchase higher end items. All because of Doc Lori
I once found a beautiful Stiffel Lamp (Vintage Stiffels are absolute obsessions for me in my new Home) and I paid $6.99. I have no intention of re-selling. I find them aesthetically pleasing and adore the sight of them. I consider my Stiffel to be my favorite Thrift Store find. If only I could find more at such low prices! 😢
I have to laugh about people that need information about their treasure and ask you where to go. THEY ARE ALREADY WHERE THEY NEED TO BE😅. We try to help those people in chat as much as possible. Just signed up for 11/29 class. Can't wait!
Realize everyone just a little shy of a marble are two lol just joking. But yes they wanna know we tell them your here. Text is is hard to understand. They know they are here but where to go from there. So a little kindness we can help each other do what we love. Make money collect etc. One thing in common we love Doc Lori. I hope we can make her proud by learning n sharing. I'm older but the young ones collecting now will be the future Collectors n resellers I think it's all amazing
Oh my gosh, I thought it was a pic of Bruce Nauman’s “Fifteen Pairs of Hands.” If so, I have some too from the NGA exhibit a while back. 😅 Dr. Lori, come down to DC and let’s go on a group field trip to the Hirshhorn or NGA! How fun would that be!
Hello dr. Lori, I love watching your videos and learn a lot from them, I see in this video you have in front of you on the table a monk figure, just wanted to know a little more about it and the value, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks
I talk about items on my tables in other videos. I just talked about these in a recent video. I also talk about them in an article on my website. Please use the search features to find and watch my other videos to find out. Thanks.
Dr. Lori, I picked up what I believe is an old water color painting for cheap. It doesn't appear to have a signature but the ship painting looks old as well as the back. When putting an eyeglass on it it appears to be rather wavy. If you would let me know if it may have some value ?? I could possibly send a couple pics if that would be okay as well ?? Thanks for your time.☺️
Dear Dr. Lori Thank you for making me the diligent student of collectables! I would like to send my painting for your evaluation, but having issues with your website. Can you help? And many thanks again!!!
I have two solid brass Stiffel lamps there about 36 inches tall I think and they don’t have the original lampshades and one of them was missing the harp so I had to replace it so I have two questions number one should I try to get an authentic Stiffle harp? And the other question is should I have both of them rewired before I try to sell them? I paid $35 for the pair. They weigh a ton.
Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching. You can also watch the many videos I have on reselling and read the articles on reselling on my website. People do use my appraisals to help them sell their pieces.
Question of the Day? What does Doc Lori like to collect? What are a few of your favorite things? I already know blue n white is your fav colors. See I'm listening.
I can appraise your piece. Need to see it. Send me photos at www.drloriv.com/find-values/online/online-appraisal-form/ or schedule a video call at www.drloriv.com/find-values/from-your-video-call/. See how on my website.
@@DrLoriV yes I've thought about that and I've thought about the unlimited because I have a lot of stuff. The best two are Albert Bierstadt and Camillo Adriani. Looking forward to it someday. I know it would take time to prepare it all. Hopefully soon.
Hi Dr. Lori, I keep hearing you tell us to get the list for makers & Dealers that list their marks. I've tried contacting your website by email an nothing several times. Just frustration not blaming anyone or trying to be rude but a little help to a new viewer please. Ty
If you sent an email to my website (and not clicked on some other site), have you checked your junk and spam folders for an email reply? Have you used the search feature on my website? The information I provide is available on my website and you do not have to ask me for it, just go to the website, search for what you are looking for (list of jewelry makers and their marks) and read my information. I don't think you are being rude. I'm happy to help but you need to just search for it. Thanks.
Just wondering if photographs of an average person done by a well known photographer and signed are valuable. This photographer is known for having done photos of US presidents.
I get the biggest charge out of the “real bargains”! I’m always so happy for the people who find them. Thanks, Dr. Lori.

The person who sold the necklace for $129.00 probably bought it at a yard sale for a couple of dollars and was happy for what it brought.
Oh my gosh the bargains!!!!!
Whoop Whoop!
hello dr.lori. 🌹♥🌹
Prada in a Goodwill bin? Mind blown.
Yep, there are a ton of designer items there.

Many factors affect value. I can appraise your sports cards. Need to see them.
Damn you are good. You know your stuff. What is the name of those figurines on your desk. Thanks for all your informative information
