Weird. You said the lowest denomination was a 1000 dong. I have a 500 dong bill from 1988 in my collection.

Great question! In researching it seems that theres plenty of famous locations on the bank notes, one of which is the Japanese bridge here in Hoian! If I notice anyone taking pictures of it with the note Ill let you know!

At the end of the day who invest buying this currency will be laughing all the way to the bank once it revalue. I think it will go 0.4 - 0.7 to the USD.
I think the world should stop using the USD as the reserve currency . Countries such as Vietnam , Indonesia and etc should revalue their currency at this stage. You just can't buy anything for 1 Dong or 1 Rupiah in their own country . It's unfair for lower class citizens. Just my opinion.
Yeah, apparently you don't know anything about basic economics or currency value. Most times currencies receive a cut, like for example the Venezuelan Bolivar. 100.000 Bolívar fuerte = 1 Bolivar soberano

Believe me when I tell you Vietnams currency is backed by natural resources. It will over power the USD at any day now. You should be buying like yesterday. I promise all you need is 500USD. Its going to multiply by damn near x19 when the USD falls. Anyday now.
