A little breeze helps strengthen your seedlings and plants.

I use fans in my grow room to help strengthen my young seedlings and plants as they grow.
While not a requirement it also helps keep things cool when the temperature starts rising as well as helps with keeping the humidity in the room lower.
While Colorado is a pretty dry state as far as humidity many areas have very high humidity which can lead to problems.
