It always is a good idea to find ways in fertilizing your plants without going to the store and wasting hundreds of dollars. I personally compost my fall leaves and my grass clippings and my kitchen scraps in a compost container. I also use human urine as fertilizer. In a 5-gallon bucket with a lid I place enough urine in it leaving only maybe 1 ft at the top adding banana peels and 1 to 2 hands full of my garden compost material. I allow this to formant for around a month to 6 months. But you can mix it well and use it right away in a 5 gallon bucket with water add 1 to 2 cups of human urine fertilizer and then place it on the dirt of your garden bed around the plants route. This has worked for me for around 3 to 4 years. Occasionally I will add some baking soda to pH balance my dirt. I also place in each of my vegetables containers and beds some crushed sea shells I buy a few bags of the calcium seashells for chickens. Many of my vegetables love calcium. I also place a little bit of water and some whole milk if I see my tomatoes in distress. Whatever works for you and does a good job in helping your vegetable garden and your plants grow use it. In this day and age everyone should stock up on vegetable seeds as well as emergency supplies it's always a good choice to learn how to grow your own food. Thank you! This is just what I was needing to see. I'm growing cilantro in a 9 pod Click & Grow Smart Garden unit on my kitchen counter and it's doing very well. But it's growing tall and leggy and I want to encourage bushy-ness. I am looking for a large ongoing harvest because I use cilantro almost daily, mainly in my heavy metal detox smoothies, but also for other cooking. Thank you again.

I am sooooo glad I found this video. Right after I made the last comment, I learned the horrible reality of Root Aphids. All my prized cacti, having had them for 2.5 years became infested. My tropicals became infested. I had gone to a greenhouse and brought home the mothership. Repotting the greenhouse plants is when I noticed the serious infestation. I just thought they were pesky dirtbugs. I never heard of Mealybugs, Root Mealybugs, or Root Aphids before. When all my plants and cacti got sick at the same time, I learned of the hell I brought home. I was told wrong. I was told what I'm fighting was Root Mealybugs, so for 6 months I have been fighting and treating them. 3 weeks ago, nothing was making sense, so I reached out to someone. I wasn't fighting R.M, I am fighting Root Aphids, and that's why I havnt been able to get rid of them. I was sooo P*ssed. My Elephant Ears even became infested. I stopped the type of treatment I was doing, and I went straight into Chemical Warfare!! Your Oven Video Has been the sole reason I still have surviving plants. I have lost so much. 2.5 weeks in; between the Oven, and the Chemical Warfare, I am finally winning the battle!! I only wish I could express how thankful I am for this video!!! Kill all the bugs on the roots, then cook the soil, killing all the rest with their eggs. However, it also makes me mad to have to commit mass genocide. They are simply trying to do exactly what we are trying to do. Survive & Thrive In Nature. PS: There is nothing quite like having the aroma of Hot Dirt Road fill the house. 😂
