Hats off to you Bobby, and some more i realized your channel are almost hitting the 100k subs marks and there are not much channel in the same genre in malaysia can do that
Instead of just a normal car review, u did a well explain from the planning process of the company to the manufactures and to different hierarchy of consumer, u also changed a stereotyped perspective on how people look at the Toyotas. Learnt a lot and Support!!! Keep it up

bmw inline 6 underneath..woohoo..but suspension stiffness level even in normal is abit scary huhu
yup now car maker are start to share together their platform...but the problem here they are still have limitations, license and agreement together before start the development..some car maker still can't modify or changes the design or tuning suspension based on what ur want...
Thanks Bobby for giving us a real world perspective. There's alot of hate for the German roots of this Supra compared to the MKIV. I never really cared about 1000 hp anyway. What matters is how it drives and makes u feel everyday.
I guess it's too early to comment, but what's your opinion on the expected reliability of this Toyota? I'm sitting on the fence until i get some idea of it.

That’s the thing that some other reviewers talked about as well, it makes the driver a little nervous yet not very predictable.
It's not that it is not predictable, the limits of this car is very high i think, higher than my skillsets i believe. Because in corners that would normally produce tyre squeals, it is absolutely silent and still gripping.
Front part of the car is longer. Driver is sitting near to the rear wheels. Harder to predict at corners. Need time to get used to it.
How is the space? Looks cramp thou I’m also relatively big size

Of course the Corvette. No challenge. That car is more comfy than the Supra, wayy faster, handles better, way more drama, more cylinders, more noise, wayyyyy more roadtax.

i feel it's ok if Toyota use an engine from BMW....because Toyota customers can rationalise it as an upgrade... as the BMW brand and pedigree is more premium. I have a problem if a supposedly premium car brand uses an engine from a rival....like Aston Martin using Mercedes engines. If you are Aston Martin...customers expect you to develop your own engines. Otherwise..you're a fake....and customers feel like a fool paying the price.
But no one complained when McLaren uses a BMW engine, Pagani uses Mercedes engine, or the new McLarens using an old Nissan block. :D
@@BobbyAngmalaysia McLaren will argue that they then further engineered the engine and put their mark on it. Whatever...McLaren has to put up a reasonable explanation to its customers. Customers wouldn't want to pay McLaren for just designing the cup holder....would they?

I’d prefer the Supra instead or Z4. It looks more stylish, handles like a BMW, more power and more reliable.
