  • Take 60 minutes in this longer 1 hours practice to do a insight meditation. Insight meditation allows you to practice self-observation by focusing on your inner self in a nonjudgmental way. You'll notice thoughts, perceptions, emotions, and other objects of consciousness coming through, while you practice nonjudgement and mindfulness. This longer practice has several prompts to keep you on track for the entire practice.

I love that this is a space with no music. It feels almost safe here. Your voice is perfect for this sort of thing, and the pauses…. Truth is, I can’t stand meditations with music. They seem to defeat the whole purpose for me. By the way, I’ve loved being a paid member with your channel. Totally worth it! ❤️

Appreciate this. Not only getting better at meditating, but also noticing a healthy desire to meditate when my mind is a little stressed/headachy after work that I didn’t have before.
Thank you for the music-less, lots of space for silence practice.

And on a personal note, regular meditation is helping me become even more present for the most precious moments in this life (these can so easily be missed now-a-days with all the awake shenanigans).
I hope for everyone to notice their loved ones, especially their animal babies and human children. I hope for everyone to re-emerge from whatever drama depths of their own personal lives that may have been drowning and reawaken to how beautiful nature is, and how great it is to love unconditionally those who matter.
It’s the small things, like when this meditation guides to notice the body gravity touch points, and when my cat so preciously in time amazes and awakens me by touching her paw to my hand.
What are your small precious moments? The ones you may not have felt or seen, having been too distracted by the mind-driven world we currently live in?

I came across this 60 minute meditation for the first time accidentally just by listening to my home computer run continuously while I was resting on my couch, trying to rest, relax, and recover from a hypoglycemic episode. By the way, if you have insulin dependent diabetes do not take your normal dose of insulin before exercising! Skip your dose of insulin before exercising! Of course I try to listen to all the prompts. I'm not adverse to longer meditations but I have benefited from shorter ones and do not think that long meditations would be more beneficial for me. Was interested to read peoples' comments below. Bonne Continuation.

I also love when he says to observe the mood. It's so weird because there is nothing realy to observe unless u think of something. Its easy to observe the physical body but the mind is blank until you have a thought.

I love this meditation. Why does he say at the start that this is a 2hr session, though?

He used the same meditation prompts for the 1 and 2 hour one but forgot to change the intro. Genius way to save time.

It's likely that you're unintentionally focusing a little too hard, I was experiencing the same issue for the first 3 weeks of my meditation practice. The more you do the practice the easier it will become for you to just let go whilst meditating, rather than focusing so intently; which should hopefully reduce the headaches.
