The bass-player (Kanade?) did attend the Lovebites audition at just 15. That she managed to get to the finals was quite an achievement. Especially all the talent at the end.
Neki is fastest rising band for me this year. The band was founded in mid-January, so it hasn't even been around for a year yet. The concerts are all sold out. I've heard they're really good live. Fun fact: The bass player (Kanade) is only 17 years old and is still at school. She always has to go home straight after the concerts so that she's fit for school the next day.😂😂
This band is so good, Kanade slaps that Bass into next week and Hika's vocal timbre is refreshingly rich and smooth. Highly recommend "Nemophila - Beautiful Days" the new song released this week from the all female Japanese metal outfit.
NEK! Make the best hold up conquer the hart of the BAND MAID fan's. This young quatuor is very talented. I'm a fan of them . I love KANADE the bassist, she's only 17 years old on this 2 songs.
Hey Leo!! 🙂I have really high hopes for this band. I would really love to see them open for Band-Maid at some point! 'Maze' is my favourite. 'Mah-zey' 🙂
Great reaction and this is a great (and young) and upcoming band. Been following them for about 6 months now and with each new release they continue to impress. Thanks for reacting to this new band. I thought I read somewhere that they were still in high school when they first song was posted, but can't confirm that, the bassist is probably around 18. BTW (IMHO), the Grammys have been a joke for a long time due to that its based more on sales than talent.
It's great watching your face light up at all the moments of peak musical invention Nek! puts into their songs. Your reactions never disappoint. Another great all-female Japanese band for you to check out is Hagane. "Tenka-Goken" and "Hero Time" are both phenomenal. I'm also still waiting to find out what happens when you discover Hanabie ...
I used to refrain myself in my vids but now I'm like f it idc if I look too much so I'm glad people appreciate it! Hanabie is on the list I swear 😂 I have so much recs in my list lol
just a friendly head's up. It's pronounced "Neck-ee" The "!" in their name is an upside down "i" Glad you enjoyed them, I think these are some fantastic songs for a first outing Side note: My wife wears prescription contacts, as long as you have your prescription you can get colored contacts that you can still see through.
Nek! is great!...definitely keeping my eye on this group going forward. Also, don't miss Nemophila...one of the best and most versatile, all-female, rock/metal groups out of Japan. 'Rise' is a good place to start ua-cam.com/video/rD3VMAm-9iA/v-deo.html
Beautiful discovery, they sick. If you not afraid about more extreme band, I recommand you my favorite japanese band: Hanabie. Their metalcore is call Harajuku-core. I recommand you old titles like "LCG" or "Neet game ". LCG is the best title Who represent their different style.
I'm definitely gonna check them, many people recommended. I love metalcore, from what I've experienced so far I'm not too much into doom or thrash tho. Thank you for the rec!!!
It's like saying that a Japanese female band is like Babymetal. The band lineup is different, and the vocal style is different. They're not like BAND-MAID.
If Sleep Token release new things I will 😄 but rn I'm caught up, also I saw them in Paris with linkin Park!!! I know some songs by BMTH but I'm still a noob, so if you have specific songs I should listen to I'm open!!

Fun new group! Very promising! I believe they are pronounced Neki, with the I being shown as a exclamation point.
Ahhhhhh good to know !!
"Little Sisters? LOL. Maybe so. I'm excited about this band's future. Needless to say I love their sound. Bias Kanade
Me too I can't wait to see what's next with them !!

@@80mtn 🍺🤪
Has Mercy reacted to Nek yet? 🍺🥴
@@RogerChance5309 I gave her links to These two a couple months ago. Asterism and Nemo, too.
This band is awesome thanks for checking them out! 🍺😁🤘🏻🕊️
🤟✨☀️
This might be what Band Maid might have sounded like if they didn't get Saiki and had Miku exclusively. You can definitely hear the BM influence.
I've definitely had the same thought a few times.

Singer, she is too Kawaii! And musically amazing!
Thanks Leo--love getting your perspective.
Thanks, love getting your nice words :)

If they're this good already, i can't imagine what they'll sound in like 5 years. NEK! is definitely one of the most promising new bands out there!
Can't agree more 🤟
Leo!!! 🍺🥴🤘🏻🕊️
🤟✨🌈
Such a talented young band.
Quite the introduction. Very impressive. I'll have to dig deeper into them.
They don't have that many songs yet but I'm really hoping we'll get more soon 🤟
I love band. Thank you for this reaction
‼️‼️
A similar band is TRiDENT. The just released a new album DUX today. Excellent musicians.
Aldious is a great all female band.
Notice how the guitarist has her strap taped to the guitar, she likes to do around the neck swings with it.
Oh my god 😂 I need to see that
@@LEO_IS_VIBINGG Nice! Tomo-zo style.

Isn't that expense ?? I'd need to check, for costumes or special make ups this adds a lot

This song sounds like it coult be a Gacharic Spin with all that bass slapping and changes.

I know but drawing small comparisons is not an insult, they're their own thing but can still remind us of other bands :)
Good video!!, Can you react to jackpot??, it’s a New song by Kenia Os and Belinda, and also love, money, fame remix by Seventeen and Kenia Os ??
You should react to Bring me the Horizon and Sleep Token.

Be interesting how many Grammy nominees are on the "Diddy List"?
I have a video on the Grammys I'd need to compare the lists 🥲
