- High above LA, our man with the cam Larry Chen’s rented out a helipad for a noble purpose: shooting the launch photos for the 2023 Nissan Z! Larry’s using all his tricks - popping out of sunroofs, yoga-like contortions, straddling truck beds - all for the sake of the art. The Zaddy and his faithful crew of detailers and camera assistants are there from dawn to twilight, always chasing that perfect angle, lighting, and composition. Come along for the ride.

Yeah I totally agree it’s the ugliest z car they have made I think..that grill has to go it’s huge, and full of straight angles everywhere….they ruined it…they needed to put a 260-270 style front end , not that monstrous box of a grill…it’s like they took a Barbecue pit and pulled the grill out of it and stuck it in the front of the car
@@markim5087 Yeah the grill looks weird but overall better than the fat stubby rounded look of the 350/370z. Most of the jdm classics have straight angles everywhere it's the modern cars that look fat and pissed off just like their owners.
7:30 mirrorless a new technology, yeah to Canon and Nikon fans. The rest of the non fanboys/girls have had access to cheap and expensive mirrorless cameras for over a decade. Canon and Nikon finally starting to release more modern cameras to not be utterly left behind.
The more I look at it the more convinced I'm 💯 sure that I'm not convinced to get this car. It was instant 😍 for the 350z and the 370. Not for this 😐😔
I love my 370 and I will be buying one of these to join alongside it in a couple years. It's the next step up from the 370.

I think if they make the headlights smaller and extend the face a little bit for a more 280z look it would be acceptable. As of now it just looks like a 370z with different headlights and taillights. Headlights are awful, the rest of the design is great.

Yep I agree it’s ugly as sin, it needed help from the z cars of the 60’s and 70’s they had no imagination when they built that car, maybe they were barbecuing one day, and waited for the grill to cool, and pull it out and stuck it in the clay model, and said yep all in a days work…it’s huge, all the angles are too hard and cold all over..it needs to be smoother and cleaner..
Owned the 370 ain’t nothing changed. If it did it was a lazy change. I get they’re going for future but why did they put mustang tail lights on the back??

@@lonetrader1 if they were going for a boxy shape of the 300zx fans would love a newer model. Taillights 👎🏽 just doesn’t go with the round 370z body lines. Headlights look like a bootleg Maserati grandturismo. Frankenstein car.
The only way I’d own one is if it had a big American v8, LSX 427..0r a straight 6 with a big turbo, oh and they did something with that ugly ass front end, this has to be the ugliest Z ever..it looks like a grill pulled out of the barbecue, maybe it’s a joke, and the real car is being released later…the lines are cold, and need to be smooth out with rolled edges , with q’s taken from the 260’s..
Sorry the front grill makes it look terrible, it’s just got way too many boxy angles…the rear is cool, but the is never buy one, I’m sorry, they should of went with a more of a 1970’s Z front end…now that would of been super cool, instead of this ugly ass car…whoever came up with the front needs to be fired..
