- Professional Formula Drift drivers Chris Forsberg and Ryan Tuerck show you how to build a drifting missile car for 5 Grand! In episode two we start by straightening out the frame and ripping out the interior to save some weight. Then we swap out the old shitty motor with a newer, less shitty, factory 240 SX KA 24DE-T engine, souping up the horsepower with an Isis Turbo Kit-the most cost effective way to add horsepower to your drift car. You gotta keep it cool-Forsberg uses Mishimoto radiators and shows you how to install it...despite Tuerck.

This series is so sweet Ryan Tuerck and Chris Forsberg! I've been waiting for something like this to come out. Since you are adding a turbo kit to the KA24, would it be a good idea in the long run to add forged internals? If so, what would you put in? Keep it up!
Stock KA24DE can take a good beating stock as long as fuel and tune are done right

Awesome vid guys! Can you explain to everyone (at least briefly) what route you went to map the ECU with the turbo? I hope it gets mentioned; the stock ECUs get really fussy when you add anything more than 6 or 7 pounds of boost and can be a real nightmare for someone on a low budget. Maybe an old crappy piggyback controller would help? Also, did you guys change the pistons? They're usually the first things to go on a KA-T. :)
I see you guys bought new injectors, where they replacement oem injectors or where they larger? I see you are running a n62 MAFS so what did you guys do as far as tuning? Are you using a FPR? What boost are you running? These are important aspects of assembling a KA-T. PS im loving the show I think its one of the coolest things you guys have done so far, im looking forward to the rest of this series and also for greater things to come once this car is done. Maybe you guys could find someone who is troubled financially and help them with their project and finish it for them, kinda like pimp my drift missle. someone like me ;).

Im building a miata for a drift car haha, will this apply lol. I plan on building up a 240 maybe this summer if I can get a shell for like 500 or a running car for about 1200. Not insure it and just have it as the beater for the track with the miata :D! Cant wait for the next episodes and if this actually does help people you guys fucking ROCK!
