In this episode Chris Forsberg sources a beat up Nissan 240SX chassis from his buddy Tony Angelo and a fresh used KA24DE motor from Nick DAlessio at Elite JDM. Forsberg then skillfully demonstrates how to tear down the drift car.

I first watched this video when I was 16. It made me want an s13 so bad that it became my biggest drive in life, I'm now 21 and I realize how much the prices of everything in this video has skyrocketed but I am too invested in my s13 to turn back

Definition of a missile car.
Missile Car: A car (typically a s13) bought off of craigslist for about $3000 with a stock motor, straight pipe, and a welded differential.

Here in New Zealand that'd be worth like 5k. Yet skylines here are next to nothing. I picked myself up an R32 Skyline for 2k last year and built it as a drift car.

they are expensive in austria too. we dont have a lot of japanese cars here. expensive 200sx es , no skylines , nno supras, .... :(

I respect these guys alot for doing all the wrench work.... I've been building my 1988 Aw11 Mr2 for 2 years for time attack... It's been a recurring nightmare of mine... I'm not sure if building cars is fun or the most stress one can inflict on one's self.

***** your missing the point here. this is to make a back up beater car. if you already have a sweet car (see rule 1) you have a lift and trailer. or at least access to them.
or your just a bad ass who drives it around on the street due to the lack of having a truck? i have trucks i can borrow but meh :)
we did it in my buddies driveway multiple times on multiple different cars with most tools from harbor freight.

The green S13 featured crashing at the beginning is from KCDrift and the crash happened at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas. No one was hurt, and the car continued to missile for quite awhile!

Here in the Bay Area that would cost $2500, you know it's a "240" it's like gold lol.
This will be a good series. And this is definitely do-able. You can build an auto-x miata for the same price and 240SXs seem to be more available and for less money. This shouldn't be an issue. All the people bitching about tools and stuff need to learn to go use basic hand tools. You don't NEED everything he has, it just speeds up the process.

Just started hoonin a month or so back, i have actually gotten pretty sideways and had a great time. Drifting is like an art form compared to donuts, i honestly enjoy it regardless of the fact i have a shitty FWD Saturn SC2, hahaha.
