Excellent 'upcycling,' Don! That bridge would be a good addition to your shelf if you ever decided to formally adopt the "rotating vehicle display" concept. Imagine an entire shelf based on this bridge (or even a temporary pontoon bridge) to display a rotating vehicle model display . . . .
