I can't even imagine what a resin (or even plaster) cast piece like this would cost if bought aftermarket, Don! But what you built is just as good, and doesn't break the budget for the month! Plus the added bonus of being able to say, "I actually made this - I didn't just buy it and paint it."
On a modular wall shelf display, this would make a great "bookend" piece with a backdrop of North African building façades. From left to right, you could then have the building façades "transition" to Mediterranean, and then to European, with the "bookend" on the right ending in a European-style archway for contrast.
