You hit another one right out of the park, Don! This looks great, and I see you are dabbling in modular display bases that allow rearranging. I really wish we thought of your techniques back in the day. We had everything you use, but it never occurred to us to combine them the way you do. Having watched most of your posts after my recent return to modelling it took a turn I never expected because I only thought about making the models and nothing else. I have just completed my first ever 1/35 scale bombed out house filled with Russian snipers that will be added to a pavement/road scene I am now working on with a 1/35 scale Russian JSU-152 parked outside. From sandbags to window frames to strewn rubble to barbed wire, I made everything myself apart from the house and road/pavement, which I purchased not realising it would be heavy plaster cast, but very detailed. All of this was done because you inspired me and showed us how with a bit of imagination we can turn any model into something special. I will admit, my weathering and brick colours are a bit crap, but it was my first attempt and I dare say it will get better as I go on. Thank you Don. I really enjoy your posts and look forward to them.
