  • The 2022 Honda CRF250R is all-new and while it is better and more powerful than the bike it replaces, it isn't without shortcomings. While the engine is indeed peppier than the older powerplant, our test riders longed for more power throughout the rpm range. We slapped on an FMF Racing Powercore 4.1 Stainless Steel/Aluminum unit ($949.99) and enjoyed the added mid-range and top-end power that it added.
Suspension-wise, the CRF has an unbalanced feel with a lot of front-to-rear pitch when the throttle or brakes are applied. Race Tech tore into our components, added its proprietary Gold Valves, and customized our valving and spring settings to match the weight and speed of our test rider Austin Schott. All told, the $1250 upgrades gave the bike a more predictable ride, better balance, and great holdup.
We finished the bike off with Pro Taper Fuzion Handlebars ($136.49), Piston Bones Graphics ($225), and SDG USA Gripper Seat Cover ($69.99), and a set of Dunlop MX33 tires.

Wow a video telling us how you added suspension, an exhaust , tires and a bar. Ground breaking work there. Haha.

Now that I’m running correct 14.5 psi in front tire and have my sag set at 104/105 I’m able to get the front tire to turn instead of push and slide also sped my rebound up one click aka turned it to soft. Probably need to send forks off and may find a tire with less sidewall flex but over all set up made the biggest difference

What rear tire size do you use? And what rear rim size?

how can a 4 stroke exhaust possibly add any power? its a straight pipe. 2 stroke of course makes sense as the shape tunes it. 4 stroke pipes just make the bike louder. need dyno graphs

pirelli has dominated in europe… funny. i do like the 33 front more but the rear is no contest in favor of pirelli

Wish I could just call FMF for a pipe. nice ride but tired of not being able to get anything.

Highly disagree with the mx33 being the best. The pros don’t use the same as the consumer mx33. The Pirelli hooks up way better.

All they have done is throw on sponsors gear 🤦🏼‍♂️ a pipe does damn near nothing without a tune aswell. Then to say a crossbar handlebar has more flex then a fatbar is absurd. I can agree though with a suspension revalve
