With ML's hands on race team experience these in-depth bike reviews are great! Looking forward to more of these videos along with Pit Bit's on all the bikes.
I just comment how fucking sick this thing is. They do make some clean ass bikes. They just did the gold rims at the first round of outdoors and Jett went 1-1
Mike does such a good job at telling us the things that a guy with technical knowledge would appreciate! not just the "parts and pieces" (sorry love ya ping) or the stupid bling that has nothing to do with how the bike preforms Keep up the stellar work mike
Micheal do u happen to know what colour green the plastics that the monster energy kawasaki krt mxgp team uses? I been trying to look everywhere for this, thanks!!
@@TysonKlose rotation. They need to be serviced regularly or replaced from damage. With my team we had around 16 systems in rotation between two riders and their race and practice bikes.
No it doesn’t. If you listen in the video we mentioned it’s all HRC parts. Not available to the public. A 450 won’t bolt up without some major medications to the ignition over.
@@jroutdoorstv2642 It's not totally excepted by the market. Some riders like cable and some like hydro. Interesting comparison is no road race bike uses a hydro, cable only.
From watching Honda struggle so far in Supercross the bike looks tobe front heavy hence why they're struggling in the whoops this year on 250 and 450 and the rear end sits higher then other brands which also causes lack of rear grip they need to sort it out to be competitive definitely with Jett on 250 the suspension doesn't look like it's one with the bike everything just looks stiff and bouncy need start of stroke Tobe softer so it squats in corners like the Yamaha's but half way threw the stroke get alot stiffer they need to redo the suspension on the 250s you no it ain't working when stock suspension with valving done going threw the whoops better then factory stuff and that's with hunter and Jett riding aswell think they've went to larger internals in forks and shocks and it's not working also does anyone else think the front end rake on the 250 is less then previous models Yamaha's have been ahead in the 250s for years now I don't understand how when they haven't changed much over the years and manufactures can get a yz and test what features make it handle better and just be a better bike all around HRC factory parts obviously aren't working anymore why not try other brand parts and find what works and what doesn't best looking Honda setup wise was Chad reed's two two motorsports 2009 - 2010 he chose the parts that he wanted and that helped with setup all the old guys finally retiring with decades of knowledge and young people trying to do stuff but not know what works and what doesn't HRC USA should have a full machine shop where they make parts to all different specs and have 4 bikes and test all the different spec parts but only do one thing at a time like js7 said if your set up is bad change one thing at a time so U can tell if that part made a difference
That item is a “HRC” component and can’t be purchased. However, there’s a company called “red moto” that runs Honda’s world enduro program, they built a new Infiniti in cover that accepts a Brembo hydro clutch slave cylinder and sell the full kit. Look them up.
I so miss the days of real works bikes….. there was so much more exoticism surrounding factory teams and the bikes then. Development moved so fast in the 70’s and early 80’s because of it. I cannot but wonder how good the bikes would be today if they had stuck to allowing works bikes and not gone over to lawn mower engines. The handicap they had to use in order to give these heavy, over complicated and absurd four strokes really says it all. Just how good could two strokes have been….? Less weight, less reciprocating mass, smaller packaging, higher power output…two strokes are a much superior solution from a purely engineering or scientific perspective. What we are seeing today has been irrationally forced on us…the sport has become more expensive, the bikes heavier than they should be and much more complicated. The same goes for GP Roadracing even more so…. Moto GP bikes went from super lightweight, low mass exotics to pigs dressed in carbon and titanium.
@@idunno1684 that’s the point of development…. If attention and development had been applied to two stroke technology through racing and works bikes from 1986 on to now, they would be cleaner running and more efficient. Of course they would be.
@@robertrishel3685 i agree to a certain level. (And I love 2 strokes) but when the engine is burning its lubrication oil there is only so much you can do to reduce the emissions compared to a 4 stroke.
@@idunno1684 there is only so much you should be concerned with reducing in the first place for a racing engine. Motorsport as a contributor to pollution isn’t even on the same graph as anything else. And to be honest, anything that humans do is laughable compared to the natural cycle and potential destruction that naturally occurs. To think otherwise is seriously ridiculous. Most of this nonsense is 100% politically motivated. I’m not saying we shouldn’t try to be as clean and efficient as possible, of course we should, but the level of insanity going on now is just that, insanity.
Hey Michael where an when can I find a yoshi pipe for my sons bike there’s nothing available for them yet, no shops around me can’t find shit for the bike, not even a air filter? What’s up with that? I no u probably won’t see this but worth asking, maybe someone on here can help us get one???

Yes, the team is sponsored by Fox for all their casual and team wear. Thus it appears on the motorcycle and semis. Fox has long held this deal, although for a couple years the TLD group had it before it returned to Fox.
Probably the best pro bike feature I’ve ever seen. Gone into so much detail which doesn’t happen often! Thanks Michael👌🏻
Love Lindsey's reviews on bikes. So in-depth. For hard-core motocrossers it's music to the ears. Lol
Such a good video knew all the info and didnt say um every two seconds
Yep 100% getting harder to come by these days.
Lots of practice!

Great review ML. Thanks for going into detail on as much as you could.
Thanks for posting. Keep up the great work.
Well done. Love the in-depth detail and resonating you provide Lindsey!
I think the Honda's have always been the best looking ,coolest bikes on the track
This man is about to torch the 250 class.
Gonna have to upgrade from my 2020 the 22s are to nice looking only if they made an hrc version of it
Wish it had the dual pipes
I want the steering stabilizer
This was so much better that the usual "that's a secret", "here are parts you can't buy" etc.
Not even a Honda guy but this bike is so dang badd@$$ I had to take a few screenshots!
Go Jett 🚀
Very detailed review down to the smallest minutia.👍
That was an excellent critique guy! 👍😎
Now that's eye candy.
Ah, Lindsey giving us the info again! Good.
Great review man, very thorough!
How can these foot pegs cost 5k?? What makes them different from $400 raptor or ti pro pegs?
they're cnc milled from different titanium, 3.5-5k seems steep, but for something like that, it seems accurate
The mounts and the pins are ti also what ads
Keep these bike videos coming. Nice job
Did they remove the spark arrestor from the yoshimura system or leave it in? And what would be the difference with it in versus with it out?
Great Video and insight. Thanks for a video w/out the annoying techno snare that everyone uses these days.
Lovely bike.
Surely the cast alloy fork lugs would be stiffer as casting produces heat treatment?
Yeah I’ll keep filing my pegs at that price😂
Très belle vidéo , Merci Vital MX .
So in depth!

Is that yoshi with the resonance chamber going to be available to the public? Would love one for my 22 450
Hope that price for foot pegs is a pair! 😂

I'll always use Pro Circuit suspension
Someone knows how to install the steering stabilizer?

So is the hydraulic clutch a bolt on from the 450?
It is not. It's a HRC part and requires a different ignition cover.

How many race bikes would jett use per sx season?
