Same for me too. I mostly wanted the Green Ranger for obvious reasons.
I liked Power Rangers growing up and had a couple of figures but I more remember having Pokemon toys and plushies more.
I'm a girl who loves Power Rangers back then and to this day.
There’s nothing “Magical” about getting hit in the face with a Sky Dancer because those darn dolls were impossible to control

My mom had the tiny little Polly pockets and I still have her old ones
You must be really young! I used to loge my Polly Pockets! I had one that was massive that's had a house and outdoor area with a swing, bridge etc. It was far from travel size but I loved it xxxxx

OMG I remember teachers going nuts because everyone had a tamagotchi and it wouldn't go through one class without making noises or having us too distracted by it. Good times! I still have mine.

God. I LOVED my Dream Phone. My friends and me used to take it in turn every weekend and no matter who's house we were at I had to take Dream Phone with me lol xxxxx

I still have my furby. 😊 there is also video of me receiving it on Christmas. I was so happy.
By the time I got my Furby I got bored with it after only a day of playing with it, removed the batteries and let it collect dust

was Giga pets the alternate name for #1 or was it a different brand. Everyone I knew that had one, had a Giga Pet. I had never heard of the other name until well after the craze.
Giga Pets were made by Tiger Electronics; Tamagotchi were (and still are) made by Bandai. Totally different. (Jan Griffiths).
OMG- I remember all of these and I had a bunch. Polly Pocket was awesome- I think I had one that was similiar to cinderella's castle. Sky Dancers. Dream Phone- had a few fun sleepovers with that one. I still have my Beanie Baby collection on display :P I got nearly all of the cats (wild and domestic)- I started collecting and I couldn't stop. But admittedly there's still one I want to get my hands on (Radar the bat)
So many parents thought they would retire off of beanie babies. I remember beanie baby conventions lol.

I used to love Polly Pocket, Bop It! and beanie babies. I actually still sleep with a few beanie babies now, HAHA! Anyway, I think I knew of most of these toys, nice trip down memory lane :)
The dolls that had the dummy if it fell out it would cry and wake you up in the night that happened a couple times. I love polly pocket, my little pony, care bares, i had a furrby i called her strawberry as it was a pink colour. 90's was the best for toys
I remember all of these, even though the only ones that I actually owned were glitter wands, Beanie Babies, and Tamagotchi. I also had a Skip-It and an Etch-a-Sketch, which you mentioned in the intro.

Polly pockets were my favorite 😍
I had the Polly Pocket doll house but they were Disney ones. We went to Disney World when we were little and my cousin and I got an Aladdin theme one. I ended up missing pieces fairly quickly but my cousin's managed to last longer lol.
tamagotchi was so popular but i was not so into it. wait, is number 6 walkie talkies? i also wonder why pokemon and digimon cards aren't on the list? that bop it looks fun! 😁 but i like polly pocket, sky dancers, and baby all done. lol!
My grandmother is a toy collector and she has at least 5 of all of these. I’m not even joking, she has almost 100 Polly pockets.
I think I had a sky dancer from Mcdonald's. It was light green.
The glitter wands.... my immediate thought was dirty....😂 ugh.. they look so much like, yeah..
I still have a glitter wand. It's therapeutic watching the sparkles move from one end of the wand to the other, and, as someone with Asperger's Syndrome, I love things that are therapeutic
I have one too. I don't have Asperger's, but it's fun to watch still. The basic color of mine is blue. There were bracelets similar to glitter wands made back in the 80s, and I have some of those as well. (Jan Griffiths).
I had a sky dancer, tamagochi, doodle bear, bop it, furby, beanie bears and babies. It was a fun. If tamagotchi appear in uk again i'm buying one.

You can buy a new tamagotchi. The 1996/7 ones have been re-released. I have 2 of the 90s Furbies, and I still run them constantly. I don't care for the new Furbies out now, like the Furby Boom. I don't like the plastic ears and those terrible eyes they have now. The original 90s Furby is much better. One of Mine is Gizmo from "Gremlins". (Jan Griffiths).

I remember most of those (born '87) but I don't think Glitter Wands and Doodle Bears made it to Europe,at least I don't remember them. They still look fun though,I'd play with them as an adult.
What about yoyos? I remember them being huge.

When I was little I had a Polly Pocket, a Sky Dancer, Furby, a beanie baby & Tamagotchi. I remember my teacher took my whole class tamagotchi away for the whole day and ours all died

omy god i only posted when i first saw the polly poket but damn i was born in 1988 i still remember most and actually had several of those mentioned here hey i cant recall is they toy calle bee u wee koo bought on the 90s or 80s / it was like a catterpillar or centepeed standing upwards and its little gloved hands were extended with open palms it moved and "wiggled" when you said bee uh wee koo and it had little spheres the point of the game was to get it to wiggle all the spheres down below to some flower / cup thing
I drew on stuff as a child and always got into trouble for it. My mother thought that finger paints would do the trick. As a result of the constant scoldings I'd gotten from my mother, I cried my head off and refused to use them, thinking that I would get into trouble... #90sChildhood
When i was a kid Tamagochi's had another name because i never used the word "tamogochi". I ALWAYS owned one but i forgot the other name they had.
I just remembered, they were called "Giga Pets" NOT "Tamagochi's". I only heard of the term "Tamagochi" AFTER the 90's. Never in my childhood. Strange.

I remember tamagotchis. I used the one I had for so long it ran out of batteries.. I was so sad my parents took me to a watch store to get the batteries replaced. (IDK why they took me to a watch store to get the batteries, but they did)

The Toy brands that id love to see come back here in Australia again are StarCastle and the Sailor Moon range I had a few of the Sailor Scout dolls but I never had the Sailor Moon locket that you could open up, not the wand. And I never had the StarCastle either

keep in mind 90s in eastern Europe is totally different story (except some fashion trends) ...majority of american kids in 90s were teach to be spoiled and self oriented(i dont mean to be offensive but objective) , while majority of russians 90s kids almost died by hunger
