- This is a video I took during the Guy Williams Star Ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame August 2, 2001. Guy Williams Jr. accepted the star for his father. Most of the casts from Zorro and Lost in Space were attending.

Thank you for sharing this. You put a huge smile on my face. It was nice to see the cast of LIS and Zorro after all these years. Guy Williams came to venezuela once. Don Diego and Prof Robinson will live forever in my mind :)

I had always hoped to meet him. When I heard the news of his untimely death back in '89, I moped around for a week. Too bad he couldn't be here to see this ceremony in person.
Kirk, thank YOU so much for posting this! It was the closest thing to actually being there and experiencing it in person. Many faces of LIS cast and towards the end you can almost hear Marta saying "incredible" and "very, very special man." Great to see Robert in there too meeting and greating too! You guys have really done quite a job. Thnx for the post!
my mom's birthday was that day and was and always will be a fan of lost in space and zorro....my mom kinda feels honored that his star was done on august the 2nd that year although they didn't know my mom and they have never met her..thanks for making my moms special day a memorable one..she loved guy williams and all the cast and crew of these two shows from her childhood...god bless to all///
Guy Williams was THE perfect Father on Lost in space! I loved him! Always wanted to see "ALL" the original LIS cast in a movie!
desertboi84 ...to answer your question, both of my parents are shown in this video & they did not leave quickly...My Dad, Bob May, The Robot in Lost in Space & my Mother were there all day & even went to the private reception after where my Father gave a toast for Guy. They were honered to be there for a special day for a man they both loved & respected very much!
