George Medzigian I have always been baffled by Guy Williams’ lack of continued success as well. The first time I saw him was as Zorro on Walt Disney’s Sunday evening program. Even at that young age, I knew Guy Williams was something very special. If a little girl could be in love with a tv character, then I certainly was! For years afterwards, I searched tv and movie listings for another opportunity to see him, but nothing materialized until Lost in Space. I missed the romantic character he portrayed as Zorro, but I was still very happy just to see him in my living room every week. But after three short years, Lost in Space was over, and so were my weekly visits with Guy Williams. Why wasn’t someone there to market him and find other vehicles for his talent and charisma? I know he had a huge fan base at the time. It makes me wonder whether there were powerful people who, for whatever reason, deliberately set up roadblocks to destroy Guy’s career. We may never know.

I was shocked when i heard he was found in bed with no vital signs, he reminded me of my dad . Lost in space was great and he suited the role of the strong father with a soft side for Wills mistakes and Judy's moods as a teenager going through changes.
I am very surprised that guy did not make it big. He had everything going for him. He was a great actor.

Guy would have graced any young childs family as a father................A child would have admired him and followed in his footsteps................
