thinking about buying this so I can tow behind my 32 ft motor home. That way the Mother N Law has a place to stay...
Not actually the first time I've seen that suggested...
@@Erin-Thor 🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol yes you could park it on a giant hill.
LMFAOOOO
Perfect build for a couple with a dog or a single person & a pet really like how their putting so much in a small area just wish I could afford it
So much goodness wrapped up in a tiny package!! I totally appreciate the variety and frequency of the video tours that you produce!
Thank you so much!
I have been following the Geo Pro line since it's inception.
Their design team never ceases to blow my mind!
They're crushing it. And have become SO heavily "photocopied" it's crazy
I've loved geo pro from the first time I watched that hasn't changed. ❤
Geo Rocks. So hard.
It's still, warm and bright, like a breakfast room. I think they did well.
Bravo ! Finally, All of the features of a large travel trailer packed into a 16' or less (tip to tip) travel trailer. The new fridge with the upgraded solar just put this travel trailer over the top for me. This package with the heated holding tanks and a convection microwave is the one I will be getting within the next year.
We're ready when you are!
I bought a 20 BHS last year, and this tiny trailer has more solar and a bigger fridge/freezer. Grrrrr! 😖
@@DeepOwl1073 It does, but don't forget pricing has slide upwards a bit since then. Your 20BHS then was a chunk less than now -- enough to cover a little solar upgrade if you were curious
@@JoshtheRVNerd good point, thank you.
I am truly impressed and amazed at the ingenuity this small camper offers. WOW 👏
13lbs of sugar
5lb sack LOL
For me, this is the best! You get everything needed in a compact space. Maybe need to adjust to a few things, but love it. Great storage, too. 😀👍
Totally agree!
Looks like the perfect she-shed. And, I LOL when I heard shoilet. Thanks for the walk-thru.
#SHOILET
The shower miser is for bypassing the water from the water heater to the fresh water tank while you wait for the water to get hot. Once hot the blue pipe turns white telling you it’s hot. So you save the cold water normally lost waiting for the water to get hot. Great for Boondocking.
Great for boondocking, but you don't want to use if hooked up to a park as you're unintentionally filling your fresh tank if you do it.
Love this, looks almost perfect for me and the dog to do some extended travel camping. Wish the black/grey tanks were a little bigger. I also think that a unit this size would be better off with a 2-burner stove, which would allow for a bit more counter space.
I like that idea!
I also like the dimensions of the beds. 30 x 74 is a standard cot size, which makes toppers and bedding easily available. Amazon has a lot of options available!
@@JoshtheRVNerd love the bed size & without having to climb over the second person for night time excursions.
I’m moving to the East coast. This looks perfect as a hurricane-is-coming bug-out trailer.
There's so much to love in that little trailer.
I like this one a lot more than I ever expected. I am a fan of "hybrid/mutant/convertible" things like this. Just the geek in me.
My wife would never go for it, but getting to review them like this I sort of still get my "play time" in :)
Best demo video I’ve seen of this very cool rig!
Wow, thanks! I know my videos are long, but I try to provide the most information possible with each tour.
I LOVE IT..NICE GRAPHICS❤ OUTSIDE..BATH..KITCHEN!👍OOOOH SOLAR!❤OFF GRID!
It's so cute! To small for me personally, but they really pack in great featured in a small space. I can see how this model will be VERY popular.
Agreed! I could easily make due in something like this.
I think I could totally rock this and be completely happy anywhere. It's light and small but does it all.
If you’re curious they’ve done some small updates for the current model year that you can see here ua-cam.com/video/GtTV38n6SO4/v-deo.html
Very cool. My brother wants to get one and kinda just use it for his thing and doesn't want much at all. He is a smaller guy and this would be easy for him to get moved when he wants. Thanks, another one to the list to check out.
Such an awesome starting point! Now to switch the toilet to compost, the black tank to a potable water tank connected to the original, remove the microwave and add cabinet doors, swap the roof ac for a back wall mini split and add a couple more panels and batteries.. My head is spinning! lol I wonder if the factory would do any of those things... TAKE MY MONEY!!! HAHA
Unfortunately their production is not set up to allow them to make special accommodations by request
Great camper! They should use a 2 burner cooktop. It would leave more countertop for this little camper. Also, a black tank flush would be a big bonus. Great Job Josh :-)
Ty and love that idea!
My all time favorite perfect for me going away on long journeys and having everything
This one sneaks up on you
Cool AC/DC LCD Panel currently playing Back in Black cuz that’s all I see on it. Gr8 little trailer. It’s downright impressive!
HIGH VOLTAGE!! lol
Nice job with this video! Like the improvements over last years, especially the larger refrigerator and freezer.
I totally agree!
That glass door on the shower is awesome
Omg gimme! So well designed for the space! Lots of features and still maintaining under 2800 pounds for vehicles that have a 3500 pound pull limit (Chevy Equinox, etc).
I love having it in our lineup for the lighter weight alone. SO FEW trailer are really towable by 3500lb rated vehicles anymore... or even 3k tow ratings.
@@JoshtheRVNerd exactly! And the price gap in a manufacturer's line-up to up to a V6 for more towing capability is just getting bigger. I think this model will do well for you guys! It's got everything and more that a couple or single person would want.
Btw, what is the tank capacity on this model?
@@TrainMike2013 Here you go: 2021 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB Specs:

Cargo 1383 lb.
Length 15' 10"
Height 9' 7"
Width 7'4"
Fresh 37.00 gal.
Gray 12.00 gal.
Black 12.00 gal.

For future reference we include those specs at the 00:05 mark as well as in the video description & on our website's listing :)
I know I'm late to the video but I'm in the same boat 3500lbs with a ford explorer sport track there all starting to think about the single ppl problem for me is the cost with limited income
@@heathmcdaniel9232 We have a few smaller conventionally constructed models that will save significantly off the price tag of this one as well among our lineup.
Love this lil beast. Got to spend some time in one at the Hershey show this past Wednesday. We have a fifth wheel which we love but this girl is looking for an"She Shed" that I can run about with on my own or quick trips between our home and base camp when pulling the fiver doesn't make sense. This one is a winner.
Nice camper! I been at some lakes that don't have showers, and no flushing toilet. But the lake is awesome fishing using my kayak! This Lightweight trailer have everything you need! Awesome 🎊
I love the big sink, but agree with the others that I wish the stove was a 2 burner for more counter space.
Seen this video a few times and never get tired of seeing it... It is the one I want the most...
😊
Thank you Josh for your great preview, this is the model, what we are looking to buy
Operators are standing by!
Well.. SITTING... but you get it
Actually this is what we ordered.Bigger isn't always better, just more to tend to.
Yeah, but a couple of feet can make all the difference in Geopros
Dude! I think I found the camper that I can tow and be happy with for my test a model Y
Very nice! I've been going back and forth between GeoPro and the Jay Feather Micro line. Jay Feather Micro had a slight edge in part because of its compressor fridge. Now it's back to a stalemate, lol.
They each have some great features
Geo has bigger solar and inverter for instance & is lighter weight
But Feather has bigger 12v fridge, bigger holding tanks, and larger body side (but weighs a bit more naturally)
I want this! Perfect setup for me and my daughter.
That's what I like about these twin beds -- there aren't a lot of models made for a parent and kid weekend -- something I think is far more common than most people/mfgs realize.
@@JoshtheRVNerd We are considering this for my hubby and his friend since they go ski camping every weekend in the winter. We already have the Flagstaff EPro19BH. But this would work great! We need something smaller going up into the mountains.
I like it everything you need and nothing you don’t.
Essentially... just the essentials! lol
TY so much for such a great video! You rock!
You are so welcome!
Just got the call I’ve been waiting 3 months for going to get my new epro 16bh thanks for making this video gives me an idea what to expect

Haylett RV Reviews, News, & More definitely subbed! Love the videos I found you channel after I ordered maybe I’ll take the epro out to coldwater and do some camping
Absolutely perfect for me and will pull nicely behind my nissan..
Perfect for my 21 Tacoma 4x4 to travel the country without white knuckles. Just found the camper I want, finally!!!!
Happy to be of service! :)
I liked the idea from a post below of lining the shower with water proof panels. My other question would be, why have such a small grey tank with a much larger fresh water, seems like they should be a little closer in size. An almost perfect trailer. Awesome review as always Josh!
Ty Sean!
Yes---I like that sink much better!
I did too!
Hey Josh, I love that you always mention whether a unit is CPAP friendly. You know, for a friend of mine. Have you ever done a video on Canadians purchasing an RV at Haylett's?
I haven’t and need to get a better idea of the current us/Canadian Covid procedure
I could see myself and my two kitty cat pals spending some quality time aboard this rig. Ought to pull very easily behind my Ram 1500 Hemi.
Absolutely should!!
1st thing I saw in the kitchen I liked was the barley juice opener
My man!
Excellent door code, Mr. Tutone!
Whatever you do..
Don't change your number
I caught that also
I looked at this rig along with many others before buying my Travel Lite Rove Lite 14 FD travel trailer. Even though mine only has a 5 gallon black tank, I found a 11 gallon portable black tank for longer boon docking to connect to my outlet. When traveling I store it on my Tacoma 4x4 four door bumper. I swapped the trailer axle to be mounted under the springs giving a 11 inch clearance with the 15 inch rims/tires I swapped out from the 13 inchers it came with. Even with my rig now higher, it is still 1 1/2 foot lower in height than the Geo Pro. It is also 20 inches narrower. We get close to 18 mpg if kept below 65 mph. We removed the cushions from the dinette putting a real full size mattress with a My Pillow topper on it. $70 bought a 0.9 cu ft 900 watt microwave that is stored on the shower floor under way. Our frig is smaller but works for us. It has a 2,500 axle weight starting empty at 1,700 lbs. Four corner adjustable supports. With two batteries and two propane tanks, we went two weeks in our Lake Tahoe forests without starting our generator or hooking up the pickup to charge them. Our frig works on propane/12 volt dc/115 volt ac. Two burner range, A/C, furnace, couch, Toilet, shower 20 gal grey water, 10 gal fresh water, 10 ft awning and a lot of storage. The roof only has two ceiling vents the rest is no other holes to worry about. The walls and ceiling are fiberglass with a foam center. The floor is fiberglass with a honeycomb fiberglass center. the lower frame is aluminum.
I never had a chance to get my hands on any Travel Lite stuff before they kinda of faded out a year or two ago. Sounds like it is a pretty sweet little rig!
@@JoshtheRVNerd There are plenty for sale at Keith's Kars in Reno, NV. He sells the whole line of pickup bed campers from Travel Lite as well.
I am trying to decide between the two as well. Did not realize you can use a portable black tank but that seems like a pain. I think i read somewhere tacomas are getting 12 mpg with this trailer.
Great video Josh. Will the mini lite's come with the 12v fridges? Cant wait to the JAYCO micro vids.
Thanks Josh, always love your videos.
All Mini Lites now have the OPTION of a 12v fridge that also includes a 190w solar panel, charge controller, AND inverter!
They still have an 8cu ft 2-way fridge standard.
Hey Josh : I see they are offering a second solar panel - win. BUT... The microwave is pretty much useless as far as I can tell, unless you plug in which totally defeats the 'purpose' of this unit being an off-grid unit. The 1000 watt inverter just won't cut it for the microwave. They now offer a convection/microwave. A 1500/2000 watt inverter would be a win. Also... batteries. At least 200 aH of lithium ion batteries, mppt controller, 2 190w solar panels, and a 2000 watt inverter and I'll drive out to Michigan tomorrow to pick it up...
I’d think we could tweak things to your liking.. they have a new power package on a few of their bigger models that you may enjoy as well
This must be the ultimate weekend getaway camper. So cozy :o)
Hard to beat a Geo. Every since they first launched they've been attacked from all sides by all sorts of challengers, but remain top of their class
Love the floor plan but I would line the Shower area with a waterproof surround from panels I get from Home depot or lowe's. Love the twin beds
Love that idea
planning on doing that as well
I prefer a 12V DC/120V AC cpmpressor fridge over an absorbsion fridge. Esp if the fridge has battery protection.
Love this travel trailer wish I can like the video twice.
Here’s an updated look at the 2022 model. Admittedly not a great deal has changed m.ua-cam.com/video/GtTV38n6SO4/v-deo.html
Cool little camper!
So cool
love this
I like the Two Twin Bed Arrangement. Perfect for Two Sleeping bags keeping the warmth inside. That way, if one person needs to get up (for personal reasons), the other person stays toasty warm!
I'd like to see more twin setups in the industry. Feels like it's a VERY open opportunity
I see tank heater option.
Just how good would this be for a hunting camper where temps might get down to below freezing? Water lines freeze easy? No one in central Oregon has one for me to look at close up.
I want small like this that won't come apart with a little bumpy gravel road and be able to handle colder weather.
Wow great review and rv! About the only question not covered is how far do the windows open? We like getting as much cross breeze as possible
Frameless windows do not open far. Sliding windows will provide more breeze.
Frameless are standard on Rockwoods btw.
Cool, a 12v compressor fridge & larger watt solar panel!
Yeah they took Geos up a notch this season
Love this. Should help with the fuel cost.
Dude..!! Great review!!.. Thanks.😎
Thanks for watching! Here's a 2022 update on this btw: bit.ly/32qSlos
Hey josh what’s your thoughts on someone buying a new Rv getting a third party inspection and who does that kind of service. Thx bud. Awesome job .....Paul👍🇺🇸😜
We have no issues with it here. Had someone in last week as a 3rd party inspector for a used fifth wheel we were selling. It's a perfectly reasonable order of business from a buyer's standpoint.
Can doors be put on the storage instead of the nets and maybe made a little bigger by bringing the shelf down a little more?
Hi Josh, I do not know if it would be possible to put a Rhino type of awning on that type of camper, to me it would be nice to add some kind of enclosure on the side of this camper like screen and rain guard. I think it would be great for boondocking and this type of camper is made for that. Thank-you.
I've not seen it done, but I'm sure something could be worked out. You just have to use extreme caution when attaching things to the RV the MFG did not expect/allow for
Propane-powered television?
Hank Hill:
haaahaha
Lovin this trailer. I just wish they’d make a model of this floor plan w/o the bathroom and create a corner kitchen and add that center windshield instead.
I see a few requests for no-bath campers now and then. it's an interesting thought. TY Jon!
Is the solar expandable?? Also as much as I like this they could have removed the bathroom storage for more foot space in the wet bath.
I wish dc air conditioners where an option , a friend has one and man does it work, perfect for boondockin
Ok Josh I’ve been watching RV videos for to long!
I’ve got 3+ years of work before I call it quits. No tow rig yet but that’s just a choice away. So this will suit me so do I wait till I’m ready to head out or do I get something that even sitting in my driveway will be a enjoyment to me!
Bank’s run the world and they always like a working person to loan money too.
What you say?
I think there's no one way for everyone to start camping, but just the way that works for you.
I really like it
Makes me wonder if my 2006 Trail Blazer would pull this. I would love this.
Possibly. These are pretty well suited to smaller vehicles like that
I love it
That is simple excellent very nice
Thank you! Cheers!
Can a side window next to the stove be added?
Great Video!!
Ty!
In the kitchen section they could have added overhead cabinet storage, maybe a porthole window or side shelving for spices.
This camper is really nice. Would love to see the new 2021.5 20BHS...
Hit that subscribe button and hold tight. They're coming!!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Already subscribed. Love your videos. Thank you!
when you travel and you’re older, that wet bath is a god send. going to a bath house or voiding outside at night sucks.
I could totally see that. If I'm near the camp bath house, then I'll tend to use their facilities but I'm not against using my RV -- especially at night
Rockwood needs to add a shower type insert or waterproof the walls of the bathroom. The water and steam of a shower will have that wallpaper pealing in a month. Love a coach this small having a bathroom.
How many amps can the controller handle? If you wanted to add another roof mount Solar Panel and still use a portable plug in🤔
The 15TB is by far my favorite floorplan. Big enough to hangout in with bad weather and small enough to hit some remote sights👍👍👍
It's a 30amp controller. I don't know if you can expand upon it with the updated 190w panel *yet* --working on finding that out.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Ok, thanks for getting back. The only thing to make this a perfect "Boondocker" is a Cassette Toilet😉 Not being tied to dump stations is great.
The move to the 12 volt Compressor Refrigerator is awesome👍And with a 30 amp controller I think that can handle up to 600 watts in panels🤔
Awesome light travel trailer great features great floor plan but all electric fridge does scare me. What if the weather's bad and the solar charging can't keep the batteries up to power the fridge and you have no shore power. I've always preferred three-way fridges AC/DC or switch to propane if the power goes out. Other than that it's just a fine rig...
These 12v fridges are very low power draw. If serious off-grid use is planned, then I would definitely recommend something like a portable solar panel to use with that side plug, extra battery, and/or small generator just to keep things chugging along.
Very nice rig, could you change it to a cassette toilet and a bigger fresh water tank (in lieu of no black water tank? for max boondocking). and double/dual lithium batteries? Is that doable? I really like the new bigger refrigerator.
The toilet swap is not a factory-capable item. The dual batteries is easily handled here. Rockwood leaves plenty of room on the tongue for them.
I really like this camper. If I could change one thing it would be a smaller fresh water tank, and a larger gray. Thanks for another great presentation Josh.
Interesting
Really like this. I assume you can access the storage from inside the RV?
By lifting the beds yes.
Josh does the outside shower hook into the fresh water tank or is it just city water if so has there been any talk if it's in the freshwater tank to put a water Miser out on the outside shower
Either/both. City water or pumped from the fresh tank
Showermiser OUTSIDE is interesting..
Is the microwave only wired to the shore power circuits, or would a larger capacity inverter be capable of running it? Great review by the way. I'm approaching retirement and this would be the perfect little camper to escape the Phoenix heat for 3 or 4 months in the summer time. Either full hookups or boondocking, probably Show Low or surrounding areas at a park with my truck to roam around in.
Microwave & Air will require 110 shore/generator power, yes.
While it is possible to get an A/C running off battery power the cost/equipment required are pretty extreme by comparison and will quickly eat up a great deal of your cargo capacity
A small portable generator is a vastly less expensive and easier/more direct option for *most* RVers.
I like it!
You have good taste! :)
Do you know if the solar plug on the side goes through the solar controller or straight to the battery bank, (requiring a separate controller)?
Side solar panels made for those plugs have their own integrated charge controller so that's basically handled by default.
The tires look like Westlake tires, but your stating there Goodyear tires?
I heard they were going to Goodyear tires, which would be a nice upgrade.
Goodyears since the 2021 changeover!
I would like to now if there is a shade or something in the door window for privacy? THX for all your wonderful information
Rockwoods do usually include the shade in their door-windows (barring a shortage of some kind)
What if they placed a small ward (closet) between the credenza (the cabinet on your lower left as you walk in through the door) and the overhead storage bin? They could relocate the TV to the side of the ward. You would lose some landing space so it should be an option allowing for individual preference. Just wondering where to place bulky clothes like a winter coat that would be difficult to fold. Ordinary clothing can be folded and stored in the bins and drawers. (Some campsites remain cold year-round.)
i have seen a smaller trailer with a simular shower door that the owner had a hanging rack on it for stuff, very doable. could gey a couple coat hooks bt the bed maybe
Man I love your channel! Thank you for showing this floorplan as I am so interested in it. Does it still come with heated tanks? Would you say this trailer would be good to camp in weather down to single digits if you don't use the water in the pipes and keep it winterized?
12v Tank Heaters are an available option (and we put them on every Geo we can!)
Rockwood doesn't provide assurances for camping below freezing, so I am unable to as a result.
2023...will have a starboard side window next to the 3 burner stove. There will also be a small forward window and a small vent fan above the burners (same type fan as the bath). I get inside info.
That’ll be awesome
Kind of a follow up on the No front window comment. I would LOVE if they had a version without the wet bath and extended the kitchen the full width. which would allow for the window on the cap. Like something between this and the 12SRK is what I am dreaming about.
That would be cool!
Very happy with my 2020 Geo fd19,I think they might have issues long term with the white finish.Where it meets the floor ,I noticed some lifting already. My guess that's why they changed the finish.
Not something we've see here. I'd be curious to see that in person to get a better idea of what you're describing.
@@JoshtheRVNerd l will email photo. It's where finish meets the floor.
Do they have a little bigger one like this?
What good is a microwave if you can’t run it off the battery?
Cute little thing.
I always know when I post a small trailer John will be commenting :)
Always good to see your name pop up buddy
I am thinking of getting one.
Awsome👍🏼
🤙
