I am a Nigeria parent, yes, we grew up on country music in the heartland of Africa. Kenny Rogers, Dolly Patton, ....... and the rest of them. We were so much into it- all about Economics and colonialization. Econo
I’m a Woodbridge, VA transplant and as a 52 year old metal and jazz head, I’m pumped to finally see an artist this truly unique and original come from NOVA. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I grew up in Woodbridge and Dale City! 30 years ! My dad sold real-estate in Prince William County!!! Lived behind ThevBlack Firest Inn. It was across from the baseball stadium!
THANK YOU for sharing this interview with us! I love his music and now I love his personality!! I cant wait for EVERYONE to hear his music and fall in love with it!!
Vegas is the song getting me through a season of healing in my life. Boosey is something exceptional, and I so badly wanna tell him thank you in person.
I’m black, not old as hell, and have always loved Country music. My family is from the country. Like rodeos, breaking in bulls, and trail rides are things my family does. I love Shaboozey’s songs.
Americans don`t know country music is very big in Africa. Don Williams, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Jim Reeves, Skeeter Davis. They are very big in Africa. Old school country is very huge, We love the story telling,
Great interview. I stumbled on Shaboozey a few months ago. I had the DJ at my son’s wedding last weekend play “A Bar song”. DJ had never heard of him, but loved it and said he was adding it to future playlists.
I just watched Shaboozey's video for the first time today, OUTSTANDING! You could play this song in a hip-hop club. I can see see folk swinging to this. And the hook "everybody at the bar getting tipsy" is classic. I wish you much success young buck.
Oh my goodness I love this man. So talented, honest and educated 👍🏾 And honey Community College is not bad I went and got the college vide. YOU ARE VERY SOULFUL 💕 thank you for your music 🎶
I've seen a lot of black reactors on UA-cam enjoying country music for years now. They've been introduced to the remarkably diverse genre, and more, by their subscribers. More often than not country music is about home, heart and soul which anyone can relate to in their own way. In my experience most of the people who claim to hate country music have never actually listened to any of the great many artists with country in their soul.
I hadn't seen or experience something that has a 1999 feel on a podcast, timeless vibe. Loved it and Much Success to yall, and totally love Shaboozey man. Sending bucketloads of momentous vibes from Laredo, Tx. "Obedient 2Da Hustle"
I'm the 200 subscriber💪🏻🤠🤙🏻⏰📲 im ready to watch this channel grow and get as big as it deserves to be. This channel fixing blow up fast KEEP DOING YALL SHIT PROUD OF THIS CHANNEL FOR REAL !🔥📷

I live in woodbride now but I am from Alexandria. If you dont know anything about dc, md, arlington, or alexandria in this area, then woodbridge seems like a small town. Nothing to do. I lived here as a teen but couldnt wait to get back to alexandria. Woodbridge was too slow for me. As an adult i like it.
It’s said that the host is not aware about the history and the culture of black influencers and culture to country music. Just say you’re not from the South.
Country has roots in black music. Oddly if you know history (Thomas Sowell) black American music is actually rural back woods English music. The rural English who came to America were poor and they mixed with blacks in culture. They created American black culture together. Blacks and whites crested country music
I'm glad to see more people looking past the color of ones skin and just listening to the music, Country music is for EVERYONE
Sir, I appreciate the support, Black folks been in country music. Please do some research.
Pls go to my page a listen to my new country song (hold my hand)
America is not as divided as the media wants to portray it as such through the lens of politics. Media does this because it attracts viewership.
We created the genre after all lol
@@q_rockz 🙄🙄🙄… black folks swear they’ve created everything, but can’t seem to maintain their community or build anything 🤔

The first country recording was by a Black man. The phrase "Grand Old Opry" was invented by a blind Black musician. That was the name of his show.
Beating around some bush. He won’t say something. But what’s the hidden truth.
Hyper sensitive. Always at 100
White moms are the same way. That’s wierd
Dillon yuk
Country music is great…..it’s also a way of life. Skin color irrelevant!
Love Him with all my heart
