His name is Chibueze which is a Nigerian name from the Igbo tribe. He said that his friends had a hard time saying his name so they just called him Shaboozey, and he decided to make that his stage name.
It's just such a fun name to say. I don't know why. Just yell it out: Shaboozey!
His coach gave him the name.. I believe that’s what he said in an interview
