That's a self-report, it's almost summer in the northern hemisphere, go camping. But I guess you gotta go somewhere remote to see places unfucked by man, so you can be the one to fuck it up, and that's not cheap.

the vibes in GoT are absolutely out of this world, perhaps the best vibes of any open world game
One of those games you just go through a passing, and see a view so beautiful, you just melt in your chair and sit there for awhile.

Graphics peaked in like 2023. Now it’s all about art direction. Ghost nailed it.

im playing this now with my gtx 1650. low settings with fsr and it still looks so good man. the gameplay also feels nice and smooth.

I found that lowering shadow quality helps a lot, for now. Also noticed a lot of particle artifacts like sparks coming out of fires to be glitchy but I can't be sure because I never played the game on PS.

You likely already tried this, but I heard another channel mention updating your GPU drivers and enabling V-Sync to combat that weird flickering. 😊

My game started a little rough with audio bugs, fire looking terrible, cutscenes also looking terrible, it definitely seemed to fix overtime. I luckily havent dealt with the stuttering issue. Great watching you play!

When I got it I thought I wouldn't be able to run it (I have a mid - low level PC) but it's really smooth
it was smooth for me until like 2 hours in then it started stuttering every minute or so :/ i bumped the graphics settings down and everything, nothing worked. hope yours is still running smoothly tho!

You can fix the stutter and the flickering, updating the graphics drivers, i did that and it fixed it for me
this looks so good, even considering the compression and stuff yt does
the problem is, that there is no memory leak in the cracked version. as in no stuttering. it's fine and dandy. and people ask why pirates do what they do
that's why I wait for month or 2 till they fix issues with the port. bought Horizon in release date, couldn't even get solid 60 in 1440p with tones of stutters. after couple of busy months got back to the game to finish it and it was perfectly optimized.
I was playing on the PS4 Pro today and I couldn't get the standoff slash timing right to save my life.

Its cool because we left wanting some japanese setting game after the Assassin's Creed trailer and we can go play this one rn to fufill it
Love this sweet introduction into this seemingly great game, if they fix the issues with it. I have no idea how hard the requirements are, but I'll be sure to check it out whenever I upgrade my system to handle it. Hopefully by that time all the stuttering issues are long gone.

On PC, I remember that I had piss poor FPS (like 20, and 10) but after the initial charge it went to 60 (i play with vsync, always have)
Probably compiling shaders...? because everything was smooth after that

I have like 30 hours in game already and I haven't had a stutter or pause like that once ;-; I don't even have the best PC either, could be the recording software doing that.
Strange, I haven't had any stuttering or lagging in my playthrough. But I doubt I have as high end of a PC like jayvee so I havent touched the settings at all so that is probably the reason.

I had my issues with how the story was told but the ending had me in tears, the world is beautiful and some of the duels are epic. The combat system is meh at times but its good parts are so good, it produces moment of awe.
The way they let Kurosawa inspire them, using wind and movement to direct the player, the pace of it...
Certainly one of the best games of the past 10 years, maybe ever.
Can’t wait for another game hopefully it will be him trying to survive and become the first ninja well not true but basically your a samurai ninja already and you do leave the samurai way in the end
The port is quite good .. even my 6700XT is having no issue to run the game @ maxed 1440p
While I am resevedly excted about actually getting an assassins creed game actually set in japan this game is still one of the best period.
This is one of few games that I can max and still get over 100fps consistently. Only have a 3060ti.

In this time period samurais used bows, don't remember the time period, but you can search it up. Also this game isn't that historically accurate

i can assure u 100% that stuttering must be because of bad drivers or some setting in bios(not your fault ) because mine hasn't stuttered 1 frame (5900x and 4070)

This definitely does look gorgeous and I'm not immune to hype by any means, but I've given the Ubisoft-style open world games - which does appear to be what this game is at the end of the day - that people love and hype to death and back so many chances over the years and was left disappointed and annoyed every single time - is this game actually worth it for its gameplay?
Even for a shmuck like me who finds the Ubisoft structure tedious as hell?
the stuttering after a few hours is caused by a memory leak, this is very common with any new PC game and it usually get sorted within the first month... unless its bethesda
ALSO it is absolutely criminal that you play this with english dialogue lol
I’ve never actually played this in English dub, it feels so different without subs
5900x and 4070 with drivers 552.44 no stutter at all
Only thing I disliked about this game was the angle on the camera. Always felt like im too low to the ground
there is a FOV slider with which u can take the camara further back XD
and it doesn't distort the view like when u do it in a shooter

This is hands down one of the best open-world games ever made.
This game and read dead 2 were games I constantly rotated back then. I gotta give them each another good run before the Elden ring dlc comes.

Debatable. If you're talking from the unique Artstyle's perspective then yea GoT might be the best looking game. If you're talking about the realistic perspective then RDR2 is better.

play on pc but still use a controller? how is the port? does mouse aiming and buttons feel good for a console port, like horizon or are we talking dragons dogma, dark souls style whole body pain just by trying to play the game
i think the mouse and kb controls are quite good? takes about an hour to get used to but overall feels good? mind you i suck at games so i think you can adjust better than me.

@@umadbro4493 i think so as well, no performance issue on my side since launch. no crasher, fps drops, and errors. mind you i have a pretty low end gpu and it still works fine on my gtx 1650.

I have a Lenovo Legion 5i with RTX3070ti@140 Watts and a 165 Hz 1440p screen. My laptop GPU is similat to a desktop RTX3060ti, so I JUST ABOUT get 60fps in 1440p using DLSS.
But with AMD FSR 3 I easily cross 90 FPS. I LOVE the fact that the devs incorporated AMD FSR 3, it is a Godsend for people like me.

This, Red Dead Redemption 2 & The last of us remastered are probably the best looking games
The only thing I turned off on this game is Depth Of Field and I regret nothing - to see the world at all times in its glory is a treat.
Depth Of Field only restricts that and also looks a bit wonky when it gets flickery.

@@passiondono4692 They have to say that because of the PSN requirement for the multiplayer. However, there are multiple videos on youtube of people playing it on Steam and it seems to run great. Check out those videos. I'm actually planning on getting it for my Steamdeck.

people have said that on my videos where it's an option, but i've tried and it's harder for me to riff off of a japanese dub. like it's harder for my brain to hear it, process it, and do my usual commentary. i have no doubt it's better when you're experiencing the game solo tho!
I strongly disagree. I tried to do my second playthrough in Japanese. Played for a couple hours and it was just too annoying. Cool that it's an option for people who like it, but it's definitely not for everyone.
since I own both I would argue that It looks better on a hig end oled tv on ps5 than on pc max setting, due to it's vibrant colors and hig contrast this game is a wonder on a oled, it's just not the same on pc.
i have no doubt it looks good, but you know you can plug a pc into a TV too right?

@@PadreMaronnolo I literally do that all the time, my PC case has handles and I almost only play with a controller, even something like Balatro lol. Drag to PC for the lower Hz but better HDR experience with surround sound, at the desk for 144 Hz and headphones etc

Playing this game with the Japanese dub feels soo much better and it fits the characters more nicely, it's a headache sometimes but believe me it's worth it.

that's the thing, it has nothing to do with graphics. it's a memory leak. same thing happened with the Horizon Zero Dawn port.
i wish it was graphics problem because then i could bump things down and fix it. but i'm running this on a 4090 and this is a 4 year old game, it handles new games on max no problem 😅
