I am always in awe of the Montoya jet dryer incident, just on the basis of the sheer bad luck that had to compile for JPM to have something snap RIGHT THERE, while at speed, with a jet dryer being perfectly positioned for him to slam into it. He was just a passenger on an incredibly improbably ride
When you watch the special fox did on that race it ended up something in the rear was breaking and evidently it snapped sending him into the safety truck
Derrick Cope blowing an engine is one of the more head scratching moments in NASCAR. He came to a complete stop and for some odd reason the motor blows up. Very unusual.
Anyone else find it odd how often that hood thing happens to hamlin and it only ever happens to him I mean how does something like that happen 3 times to the same driver and only that driver
@@tylerdurden4006 because if it was the tires popping, both would have to simultaneously pop, and if it was only one tire, the hood would have blown open on an angle.

Also in the same race, Morgan Shepherd's team left his towing steering wheel on the back decklid and it flew off during the pace laps And oh, look, the Montoya jet dryer incident...
I have a question, (I don’t watch NASCAR, I watch F1).....is it common for the safety vehicle, crew, and vehicles to be out on the track at the same time like that? @3:23
And people complain about the FIA and Formula 1 being reckless or not caring about safety.. sweeper-trucks? lights going out?! pulling a 180 into your pit box???? (admittedly that last one was pretty cool tho).
Is there any clips you want in part 2?
Safety car gets fire at the Daytona 500, safety car gets a flat at Charlotte, safety car stolen at Talladega
paul menard exploding on pit road at homestead
the camera cable snapping and cars hitting it at Charolette
The drone cabble hitting cas
The Giant Orange taking a qualifying lap at Chicago 2004.

@@starscreammtfan It was the brakes
@@MrFloppy131 that was bizzare like wtf
probably the brakes locking up, he was unable to achieve power, or he felt something off with his car.
It gave “blowing up” a whole new meaning.
3:21 guess the safety truck wasn't so safe after all
Not for the 95, at least...
Can't believe how the hell Denny Hamlin drove like he did with the hood covering the entire windshield! He wasn't losing much time at all if any!
Anyone else find it odd how often that hood thing happens to hamlin and it only ever happens to him I mean how does something like that happen 3 times to the same driver and only that driver
Denny Hamlin need to put a super Glue on the hood and wait when the glue Drys and go to race lol
apparently they know it's going to happen because now they're putting some of his sponsors names on the underside of the hood! lol
Maybe his knee hit the hood release lever.
Probably because he uses his front bumper so much.
I dubbed Montoya ‘the flaming jalapeño’ after that. I missed him after he left. I haven’t watched racing in a long time
