Yes replacing the oil pan gasket on my Ford Explorer fixed the oil leak. It is all set know.

There should only be an oil pan gasket in there if I remember correctly.

That bar that you had your hand on under the oil pan, what is it called and is it a problem if it's loose?

@@brezzyshaq1085 That's the sway bar. If it is loose it could need new sway bar bushings or sway bar end links. Probably both. Your car won't fall apart if it is loose, but it will handle worse until you replace the sway bar links
