@Mado mido If you want to play them all I'd say start with Storm 2 but if you're interrested in the story mode play Storm 2 or 3 (depends on which arcs you prefer really) Storm 1 isn't really bad and is even better than its sequels on some aspect but the story mode is pretty bad outside of like 3 boss battles (and even then they're pretty much the same) and the fact that you can free roam in Konoha (not a lot of interesting things to do there sadly but it's still pretty cool) And half of Storm 4 story mode is pretty meh (haven't played Road to Boruto tho) But Storm 4 has the best gameplay (overall) and roster so if that's what you're looking for I'd say go for this one

Storm 2 is definitely my favorite. the story is what made it really good since it covered in my opinion the best parts of the show. everything up to the Pain Arc in Naruto was so fucking good. The boss battles were really good too.
Storm 2 certainly had the best boss fights, but the story presentation overall felt a bit lackluster. Like... the same generic background for pretty much any fight except the Itachi and Konoha battles. It just felt minimalistic outside of the bombastic boss battles. The free roaming was awesome though. Storm 3 just refined all of that and added on to it. The boss battles weren't *as* good, but I think that has more to do with the arcs it covered. The bijuu battle at the end was a real slog. But overall the freeroaming and story presentation felt way more competent.
I played Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5 for 6 years straight. Like almost every single day as a kid from 3rd grade till 9th grade. And this is the best Naruto game ever created. Even if you haven't played it, just check out some of it's ost right now and you will fall in love with them.

Rise of a Ninja has always been my favorite Naruto game. I loved the open world aspect and how ninjutsu worked in combat. It always annoys me about how easy it is to spam in most games, but here you have to time it just right and insert the right hand signs. It was really neat. I didnt know it had a sequel in Broken Bond so ill have to check that out

I recently bought Storm Legacy on PS store for $25(!!!!) And I'm having such a freaking fun time reliving the whole thing. I'm sure lots of people here like me grew up with the story and it just brings tears to my eyes still at certain points. Imo one of the best stories ever told. I remember i wanted storm two so bad and it holds a really special place in my heart. But broken bonds is definitely my favorite game. Its combat system was so unique and fun to ply and i really wish newer games would adopt a similar feel to them, even if the nin jutsu system was completely backwards

(But I'm decent at 3D fighters seriously, SoulCalibur II was my game back in the day I 100% completed that game) anyway, I suck at DragonBall FighterZ, but I was drawn to it based on the fact that every fighting animation was actually striped from original sorce material. Including Intros/Outros scenes too. I may be a SUPER CASUAL Anime fan but I don't care, that is just way too awesome!

Have you ever played the Uzumaki Chronicles? It never really followed the canon as much, but it was the closest thing to an open-world Naruto outside of the newer titles and Ultimate NInja 3/4. You collect chips to add to a skill plate and would increase certain stats depending on what chips you use for certain characters. It plays closest to Broken Bond, in reference to the 3-D aspect of fighting.
I get WHY it was taken out, but I liked the feature in Ultimate 5 where you could cancel out an opponents ultimate jutsu. If they caught you in it, if you pushed a certain button combination faster than them, you could break free of it before damaged was applied. To me, it was a fine "last chance".
I played naruto storm 2 for my first ever naruto game, the boss battles were intense and actually difficult at the time. The storyline and time frame in this game was amazing. It’s by far the reason I started watching naruto.
It's interesting seeing how Naruto games I remember playing years and years ago evolved over time. I played the first to Ultimate Ninja games, the first Clash of Ninja and the first Ninja Council but never kept up with sequels.
I decided not to comment because I instead wanted to give christmas presents to all of the children of the world since Santa wanted to tale a day off and I'm the only one fast enough to get to every house in the world in a single night. I of course finished in -1 seconds but I decided to take a day off as well.
Gator Boy I only play storm 1 and 2 out of it constantly. 3 is fun and alot better than 4 but eh I don't like sub bars limiting me or that dash spam shit. Yeah I know how to jump over shuriken people but why do that when I can play the older storms aka 2 which is more balanced to me outside of awakenings which should be open it takes awhile to get them and your near dead anyway before you can in that game. Takes skill to sub continuously or you are locked in combos
I’m still waiting on the perfect game that delivers the entire storyline from Part 1, to Shippuden, all the way to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations with the cinematic and graphical prowess of the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. As well as the fighting system from the Storm games, but also with the vast open world exploration of The Broken Bond and some added RPG elements. Oh well, maybe next generation.
Broken Bond will always be in my heart, in 2008 when I got my X360 the first game that me and my brother played was Broken Bond and it felt surreal compared to the PS2 games, the free roam was such a surprise, at time we truly felt like playing the Naruto anime
I think a Naruto would be sick if it was kinda like Db xenoverse, like you make ur own character learn moves and all that shit, ofc a different story. Not any time travel shit, maybe start as a child and follow something like Narutos story.
I actually finished Path of the Ninja 2 & 3 without knowing a single Japanese word. Though I messed up when eating ramen with Sasuke, I gave him a sweet broth ramen instead of a regular udon and failed the side mission lol
Naruto rise of a ninja and the Broken Bond were unrivaled. They are like the Budokai Tenkachi series in Dragon ball. a lot of trash games were made after them that never had the free roam and adventurism these two had and they came out over 10 years ago.

I would probably take out Rise of a Ninja and Broken Bond for Storm Generations, but I can see why the Ubisoft games would have the edge, considering that the story modes for generations is just a fucking Microsoft PowerPoint. But hey, it covers the stuff that happens from Episode 1 till the end of the events of Ninja Storm 2, and has the Ninja Storm 3 engine, so it’s pretty good.
My first Naruto game(and my last at this point) is ultimate ninja 4, and I loved it. I don't know what happened to it but it was a lost cause till I saw a minor glimpse of storm. This video really jogged my memory and now I'm thinking of getting storm legacy now that I'm in to Naruto again

I recently bought Storm Legacy on PS store for $25(!!!!) And I'm having such a freaking fun time reliving the whole thing. I'm sure lots of people here like me grew up with the story and it just brings tears to my eyes still at certain points.

I remember i wanted storm two so bad and it holds a really special place in my heart. But broken bonds is definitely my favorite game. Its combat system was so unique and fun to ply and i really wish newer games would adopt a similar feel to them, even if the nin jutsu system was completely backwards

I suck at 2D fightings games. (But I'm decent at 3D fighters seriously, SoulCalibur II was my game back in the day I 100% completed that game) anyway, I suck at DragonBall FighterZ, but I was drawn to it based on the fact that every fighting animation was actually striped from original sorce material. Including Intros/Outros scenes too. I may be a SUPER CASUAL Anime fan but I don't care, that is just way too awesome!

Have you ever played the Uzumaki Chronicles? It never really followed the canon as much, but it was the closest thing to an open-world Naruto outside of the newer titles and Ultimate NInja 3/4. You collect chips to add to a skill plate and would increase certain stats depending on what chips you use for certain characters. It plays closest to Broken Bond, in reference to the 3-D aspect of fighting.
In my opinion I would like a free roam game with drama , missions , and where you can make your own choices
I get WHY it was taken out, but I liked the feature in Ultimate 5 where you could cancel out an opponents ultimate jutsu. If they caught you in it, if you pushed a certain button combination faster than them, you could break free of it before damaged was applied. To me, it was a fine "last chance".
I played naruto storm 2 for my first ever naruto game, the boss battles were intense and actually difficult at the time. The storyline and time frame in this game was amazing. It’s by far the reason I started watching naruto.

Gator Boy I only play storm 1 and 2 out of it constantly. 3 is fun and alot better than 4 but eh I don't like sub bars limiting me or that dash spam shit. Yeah I know how to jump over shuriken people but why do that when I can play the older storms aka 2 which is more balanced to me outside of awakenings which should be open it takes awhile to get them and your near dead anyway before you can in that game. Takes skill to sub continuously or you are locked in combos
3 and revolutions never got old for me, imagine 1,2 and 4.

I’m still waiting on the perfect game that delivers the entire storyline from Part 1, to Shippuden, all the way to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations with the cinematic and graphical prowess of the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. As well as the fighting system from the Storm games, but also with the vast open world exploration of The Broken Bond and some added RPG elements. Oh well, maybe next generation.

I actually finished Path of the Ninja 2 & 3 without knowing a single Japanese word. Though I messed up when eating ramen with Sasuke, I gave him a sweet broth ramen instead of a regular udon and failed the side mission lol
There was a Path of Ninja 2 released in the US. It was a different one to the Japanese version. It was a filler story but it was pretty good.
Ultimate ninja 5 can resume why I love naruto so much, it was just so much when I was a kid that I'd still love to play it over again today

Naruto rise of a ninja and the Broken Bond were unrivaled. They are like the Budokai Tenkachi series in Dragon ball. a lot of trash games were made after them that never had the free roam and adventurism these two had and they came out over 10 years ago.

I would probably take out Rise of a Ninja and Broken Bond for Storm Generations, but I can see why the Ubisoft games would have the edge, considering that the story modes for generations is just a fucking Microsoft PowerPoint. But hey, it covers the stuff that happens from Episode 1 till the end of the events of Ninja Storm 2, and has the Ninja Storm 3 engine, so it’s pretty good.
My first Naruto game(and my last at this point) is ultimate ninja 4, and I loved it. I don't know what happened to it but it was a lost cause till I saw a minor glimpse of storm. This video really jogged my memory and now I'm thinking of getting storm legacy now that I'm in to Naruto again
